Accessibility Option - Invert
Allow for inverting colors of a document opened in the app. Nothing fancy like iOS smart invert needed; just invert all colors in document ignoring menu and drawing/highlighter colors. My eyes are sensitive to light, but I need to use an iPad to be able to view my textbooks in large print and take notes; I literally use sunglasses while studying, cause I require the contrast so lowering brightness doesn't help. Smart invert also doesn't work, and regular iOS invert is annoying to turn on and off as I am switching back and forth between apps during long and short…

Give us back the original GoodNotes 4 fountain pen
The handwriting experience in GoodNotes 4 is much better, because the fountain pen is not that exaggerated like in GoodNotes 5. Please optimise this.

We need an easy way to jump back to the open notebook from library. The statue quo is time consuming !
Instead of opening a new document to go back, there should be another easier way to go back and forth smoothly

Interface with Windows
Thank you so much for adding a Windows app.
It would be very nice to link it to my IOS account. I've gotten around this by sharing the workbooks through E-Mail, but I look forward to when I can work seamlessly across my personal intermixed ecosystem. Thank you for continuing to improve.

Remove automatic date appendum to file names
We move files between users and folders. Each time a user opens a GoodNotes file and exports it with his her changes, a date stamp is added to the file name. This feature forces our team to manually rename the file to its original file name, I.e. remove the date stamp.

internal links
Better organisation options through internal links!! When you have a lot of notes you don't want to be searching through hundreds of pages for the specific topic your looking for! I would love to be able to create an index where I click on the topic and it will take me there, like google docs does (one of my favourite features). Maybe different personalisation options side tabs like a binder and you can click them to go to the specified area (as a seperate option not instead of basic internal links). I have found people asking for this as far…

Improve OCR for scanned Kanji words
I often scan documents by using GoodNote's function. Scan docs then write down memo with Apple Pencil on GoodNotes.
Most Hiragana and Katakana are ok, but Kanji isn't. For example, printed word is "揉捏", but recognized string will be "探程" , "操探" etc. It happens even though scanned image is clear. Those characters' shape is totally different from the original string for Japanese or Kanji users.I would be appreciate if OCR could be improved.
I also understood kanji character's shape is complicated and OCR library might be limited. So correcting OCRed string can be alternative.1 vote -
Drag blank notebook into a document side by side
Inspired by notability, it would be very nice to be able to drag in a notebook or scratch pad WITHIN a document/slideshow/pdf to be able to take notes alongside the presentation. This way one wouldn't be stuck with writing on the slides or adding slides in between.
This way, the notebook page and the document are one entity, always together and notes always align with the part of the presentation you're taking notes on.

Small lag and less smooth noticed compared to notability
Just happened to compare my writing on goodnotes & notability, goodnotes seems to have lag with my writing whereas notability is super smooth with an unnoticeable lag. Kindly look up to resolve as goodnotes is my favourite.

Flashcards Overview
The new flashcard feature is great, now we can see the cards in a bigger way. The only thing that would be useful, would be if we had an overview over all the cards like we do in a normal notebook over all the pages, so that we can find specific cards more easily.

Restore recording after crash
Audio recordings should restore themselves after a crash, app restart, etc. Competitors such as Notability already have this functionality.

Footnote tool
Please add a Footnote tools. Sometime when taking notes (either by hand writing or keyboard), I want to refer an information from something I wrote to any specific document or any format of information I need to put on which already saved on my ‘IPad books library’ (e.g. .pdf) by adding a footnote. When tapping the footnote, I can browse and choose any doc from my library, open the source, and highlighted the specific information I want to pointed if such reference is an ebook-pdf which contains many pages. Therefore, the exact highlighted information will immediately and automatically show up…

The function of clicking on the picture to move this picture is too easy to touch by mistake. Please cancel this function. This function is really difficult to use.
