While taking notes with zoom mode, add ability to use lasso tool without having to exit zoom mode

I would like to be able to use the lasso and other tools when using the zoomed in feature. I would also like the placement of the tool bar to be at the bottom without changing the placement of the other sections (meaning I would like to have the full page at the top, then the zoom window where I am writing, followed by the toolbar all the way at the bottom instead of having the zoom move to the top when the toolbar is at the bottom)

This for sure, Zoom window is great, but it lacks allot of features. All the feature OP posted shoudl be added to the zoom window.

YES! I loved this in GN4 I always used the study window and now its removed I don't use the zoom window anymore. This is really annoying as I really like the zoom window but with it closing whenever I change tool it wastes to much time

When using zoom to write pages of text, I occasionally need to use the scribble to erase feature, circle to lasso, or simply the lasso tool. For some reason these dont work inside the zoom window, meaning I have to close the window just to use any of these features.

It's feels like a bug when it's exit me if i selected lasso

Add new features in GN6 like scribble to erase, auto correct handwriting, circle to Lasso in Zoom window.

The writing zoom window desperately needs usability improvements:

+ The LASSO tool should be available inside the zoom window.

+ All zoom window SETTINGS need to be PER PAPER TEMPLATE or at the very least per document.

+ The AUTO ADVANCE SETTING needs an easily accessible button at the top of the zoom window.

+ The LEFT MARGIN button should be altered in functionality: It should activate/ unlock with a tap (icon highlighting blue to indicate). While activated the dashed margin line should be freely draggable into the desired position and deactivate/lock itself afterwards automatically. A right margin would be nice too.

+ The CARRIAGE RETURN HEIGHT setting is only accessible via the paper template library - this is an absolute nightmare to use! A ‘tab and hold’ on the carriage return button should let us set the line hight directly on the page - so that the paper background itself can be used as guide. {This could be done by blending in 2 dashed lines (like the margin lines only horizontal) and letting us drag them to the right vertical distance. } Tab again on the carriage return icon should revert it to ists normal function with the new hight setting in use. For papers from the template library the height setting should also automatically be saved there.

this is my biggest peeve with GoodNotes. I take my notes very sporadically during class, it's a lot of cognitive vomit and then I'll rearrange it to make sense later. Sometimes I will break apart some sentences, add small changes, and piece it back together to save some time. It gets really annoying when I have to constantly zoom back into the window that I was working in prior. Notability has this feature but their zoom window isn't nearly as smooth is GoodNotes. Also adding edit buttons to the bar of the zoom window would be great too!! Like the undo buttons and pen colors/thickness!

Yes! I am a huge fan of the zoom view and I use it almost all the time. I really miss that capability in GN5. Now, I have to move my pencil all the way to the top of the tablet to change a pencil color. I would like to have the same zoom view as in GN4.
