Favorite Side Tools
Having a small toolbar on the side that contains user’s favorite pens, highlighter, etc… will be able to add new colors to the favorite bar, and able to adjust the order of the pens on the favorite bar.

Attach links to images or elements
Please consider a feature to add URL links to images or elements on notes.
A link feature is a very good feature for digital notebooks.
Currently GoodNotes 5 supports link feature only inline text links.When we want to link a URL to an image to create a button to jump to a website, paste an image, add an invisible text (whitespaces) onto it. and create a link on it.
It makes a lot of trouble since invisible text is tough to handle.It will be very nice if attaching links directly onto images or elements on page.

disable snap-to-grid
I take a picture of a bathroom and use goodnotes to draw simulations of furniture and tiles etc. on top of the image i.e. the straight lines on the image does not align with the straight lines on the grid paper (due to optics, angles, wide-angles, etc.)
Quite often, it is impossible to draw the correct straight line exactly from the correct points on the image e.g. floor corner to ceiling corner, because Goodnotes insist on snapping the line to the underlying grid.
I wish I could completely disable all snap-to-grid functionality.

sign in option for users - avoid sync problems
Hi! So it would be really nice if there was a sign in/log ing option. This way, every user could sign in a device and have all the documents there without the need of exporting the data. This doesn't mean to delete the sync option with other apps like Google Drive or OneNote, but it would be nice. For example, if you buy a new iPad, you wouldn't have to export de data from the GoodNotes app from your old iPad to the new one, you should only sign in in your new iPad and all your documents would be there and you could edit them.

I think it would be great if I marked a wohle text with highlighter/marker that I can easyily change the color oft the marker. Until yet there is only the function that I can change the pencil color, but not the marker color.

Option to zoom in icons collection

Ruler (for measurements)
I work as a civil engineer in a paperless office. I have to deal with a lot of construction plans and for me it is important to be able to take measurements from those plans or draw in exact measurements. So I would be very pleased if a ruler, which can be set to a certain scale (e.g. 1:50) could be added to GoodNotes. Currently I have to resort to a pdf-software on my PC, which disrupts the workflow.

Extend work surface in page view to accommodate over-scroll for handwriting
When writing while holding the iPad in portrait or landscape mode I often rest my land on the screen to leverage. As approachthe second vertical half of the page I run out of room and have to comfort my hand which causes a great deal of strain. Attempting to scroll further beyond the page boundary rubberbands, with no effect. Is like to be able to over-scrolljust under half a page so that i can fill the sheet similar to how scribble Let's me over-scroll in this basic textarea field on you support form.

Better handling of outline and indented paragraphs for typing.
I type or dictate my notes, so they are typed on my mac.
It would be nice to be able to do an outline format for my notes.this is a pain in goodnotes and since I don't just use it as a planner but a notetaking app it is something that is critical.

Intelligent Lasso Tool selection
If you write a text and just want to move one word / sentence, you have to be very careful that your selection doesn’t touch other parts you don’t want to select.
