Separate rotate and resize options
When selecting text with the lasso tool, you should be able to choose to either resize or rotate. It is very hard to do one of the options individually in the current setup with the resize/rotation combo button, especially with geometrical shapes that shouldn’t change its size even a millimetre but i want to rotate. (I linked a very simple example as well. As you can see, when rotating using the current rotate/resize combo button, the size isn’t 100% the same anymore)
Basically just add an option to rotate without changing size please

The questions tab - for active recall & spaced repetition
The flash card feature is great. Improving on that I would suggest questions tab. It is basically a feature linked with Highlighter. When we read a PDF document we mark important lines with the Highlighter. The new feature let's you add a question to the highlited segment and the question is displayed on the side. When revision of the topic is required and flashcard or in this case questions revision tab is activated the highlited portion (I.e. Text snippet insertion
Ability to insert text snippets including timestamps in the page. I place a horizontal line across the page then insert a timestamp to separate new entries in a notebook.

Moving pages within the same document
When you want to move pages within the same document you have to click on it and scroll through the thumbnail until you get it to where you would like to move it. I think there should be an option to type in the page number you would like to move it to, and then the page that is already located on that page number automatically moves below the newly moved page.

Change color of highlighter not working correctly my
If I use a highlighter and then lasso the highlighter then chose “color” from the context menu it shows my colors for the drawing tool. It should show me colors associated with the highlighter tool.

edit curved line angles, not just points
I would like to be able to change the angle at the end of a curved line and not just the position of the end point. I used to have a similar tool in Adobe Illustrator. I find myself often wishing for something similar in GoodNotes. I would be able to draw a wider range of curves and I do not think it would be so difficult to implement. Add instant 'next' and 'previous' page, without scrolling. For example, using three fingers.
Applies to teaching with PDFs slides. When a slide have several bullets, you can create one page for each bullet (incrementally), but this kind or PDF slides works very bad with scrolling.

Goodnotes 4.13.5 on Mac M1
Hi Goodnotes
I have tried using Goodnotes 5 on my M1 macbook Air, and well it is just about useless, I love using Goodnotes 4.13.5 on my 2013 mini 2 ipad, it is just so uselful, with the text suggestions, easy to move text around on the ipad, to change the font size, it is just a brilliant experience.When I bought my M1 mac air, and I bought Goodnotes 5, I thought if Goodnotes 4 was brilliant, GN 5 must be a factor better, it is 100 times worse, and I just cannot understand why....

Add double page template for duplex printing
Add template with alternating borders. First page big border left, second page big border on the right. I know there is a symmetric template with big borders, but need all space on die page. The problem comes up when I punch it and put it in a folder

PowerPoint pdf with note section
An easy way to upload pdf with powerpoint slides on it so that it creates a few lines underneath or next to the slide when uploading it to GoodNotes. That way we can write our notes during a lecture next to the slide instead of cramping al of the information on the actual slide itself.

Allow navigation of folder hierarchy enclosing current note
When you you have a note open, clicking on its name disclosure arrow reveals where it is in the folder hierarchy. It would be great if one could click on one of those folders, and go there (just as one does in OS X). It would save a lot step-by-step navigation, particularly if all you want to do is (also) open another note in the same folder.

Adjust the home page to show more documents
I hope I can see more documents on the home page at the same time by merging some options to the same line. And, change the create new document to a circle with Plus like what we see in social media. It may looks a weird and unnecessary request, but that's what you do when you give a 'hide status bar' option, right? And I keep that open all the time. Thank you.

More then 3 colors in horizontal mode
When you use GoodNotes5 in horizontal mode on Ipad, there is a lot of free space to the right of the color-options. It would be nice to fill this space with the option to have more then just 3 colors available. At least 5, would be nice.

Seperate the Buttons for turning objects and changing their seize
Or just add additional buttons to do those things separately. Or better: give us the option to activate those additional buttons.
From time to time i don't want to change the seize of objects while i want to change their angle. Right now, for example, I am using a geometric ruler which isn't a standard tool for Goodnotes right now. Lock zoom window
Give users an option to not snap the main view to the zoom window whenever the zoom window moves: just have the main view stay on content
