Highlight + copy button
When selecting text in "read mode", the options that pop-up are "highlight" "strikeout" "define" "speak" "copy" "add comment".
It would be great if there was an option for "highlight and copy", so I don't have to select the text twice.

features for pens and markers
I would like the following features for pens and markers:
(1)Please be able to draw a dotted line.
(2)Make it possible to change the transparency of the marker color.
(3)Make it possible to change the thickness of the line after drawing. (It's not a size change, it's a thickness change. When you scale down it, the line becomes too thin.)3 votes -
Mass selecting png's to upload as elements
It would be great if we could mass select existing PNGs from our files or even entire folders of PNGs when creating element collections. Currently, we are only able to upload PNGs individually to element collections, which is very time-consuming, especially if you want to upload hundreds of stickers.

Edit Lasso Boundaries
So many times I lasso something and have accidentally included a few pixels of something that I don’t want to move. It would be nice to edit the boundaries of the lasso by adding/subtracting from it.

2 votes -
Copy Paste Highlighted Material
I’d love a feature that would allow you to easily select all highlighted (with the highlighter tool) material to copy and paste into another note. When studying, or when reading over documents or notes, I tend to be “old school” and highlight relevant material for further review or further studying. I would then love to be able to take all of my highlighted stuff and copy it into a condensed note for studying only what I’ve highlighted. Hopefully that made sense!

Replace PDF while keeping annotations
I mostly use Goodnotes to annotate PDFs. But sometimes after making my annotations, I realize the the original PDF has a typo or requires some sort of alteration. In the current iteration of Goodnotes, I have to drag and drop the annotations from the old to new PDF. It would be amazing to be able to replace the underlying PDF with a few clicks. Please! 💔 So many people's workflows would improve drastically.

Disable touch completely
Palm rejection does not work well for everyone, particularly for people with disabilities. Allow touch to be disabled completely, i.e. all interactions would be with the pencil

elements in handwritingbox
It would be nice to place elements in your "zoomed in handwritingbox". I use Elements for little arrows and other links, but when i write in the handwritingbox mode it closes when i want to add an element to it. It's only a small thing but very annoying.

[New languages] Nepali
Could you please add nepali language. I would like to type in nepali with my bluetooth keyboard and write in nepali language with my pencil in my iPAD.
Currently in my Mac, I use romanized unicode nepali font (kalimati) which allows me to change my language input to NEPALI and let me type in nepali. I would like to do same in my iPAD with goodnotes.
Thanking you in advance

Faster and more Accurate Highlighter
As of today, Goodnotes offers two ways of highlighting. One can either select the text manually, and click on 'Highlight' or use the Highlighter tool with a stylus/finger and freehand it.
I propose a method that is highly common and immensely popular with other simple pdf editing apps. Clicking on a Highlighter tool, which then enables the user to drag across text to highlight precisely. Clicking on a word with the tool engaged highlights only the word; dragging across words highlights the words, sentences, paragraphs, etc. The difference between freestyle/freehand method and this is that this tool enables one to selectively highlight only text faster and accurately without all the stroke-related messes that freehand highlighting causes.
It's a relatively simple feature to implement from a developer point of view. Simply utilise the text layer of the PDF to find and highlight text that is passed over by a finger/stylus.

Enable drag sidebar to scroll.
Current scroll mechanics has no acceleration, pretty painful skimming long notes (ie. > 20 pages).
Enable drag sidebar to scroll will be great.10 votes -

Mass changing of font
I would love to be able to lasso a bunch of text boxes and change the font on all to the same font. Ie Lasso all text boxes and change font to Arial.

More colors in the taskbar
I use several colors regularly and I must select the one that does not appear in the bar. If there were 4 colors and even five you could have them available more quickly. Others handwriting apps have quite a few colors available on the taskbar so you don't waste time choosing. In the figure I have put six colors and it does not look bad.
