Sync application configurations across devices
Please give us an option to enable to sync our application configurations (i.e. pen strokes, pen/highlighter color pallets, favourite text configuration and etc.) across devices.

Convert a photo of physical notes and hand-drawn diagrams into editable vector
I was blown away when I learned about a feature in the app Inkflow. The name of the feature that I'm referring to is Inkport. Check out this video to see why I think this feature would be incredibly useful in GoodNotes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAd23h9RQeU
This feature would be amazing for note-taking and getting assignments done.
Imagine that students are given a handout in class with questions that they need to answer. However, the problem is that it's impossible to write the answers next to the question because there is very little space given in the handout. This obligates students to either handwrite the questions on a separate page or type them out. Neither of these are good options because they take up a lot of time that could be used to answer the questions. If we had a feature like Inkport in GoodNotes, we would be able to take a photo of the page and GoodNotes would just convert that to vector, which allows us to rearrange the parts to give ourselves enough space for writing.
This feature would be amazing for copying diagrams too because it can take a lot of time and effort to copy them by hand. Sometimes diagrams are too complicated to be copied by hand.
For these reasons, a feature like this would be super helpful to have in GoodNotes.This feature would help with most assignments, whether they are given in physical or digital format. It's ideal for working with physical handouts, as well as assignments from textbooks. It's also relevant for most digital assignments, because a lot of them are provided in PDF format, which is not easily editable. I love the flexibility & speed that a feature like this would add to my workflow. The idea of "copying and pasting from the real world", as Inkflow puts it, is an amazing feature to work with.
Please consider adding this feature because it will make a big difference in productivity. It will be a lifesaver because it would help a lot with homework, test prep, labs, etc.

Clear All Annotations
While there is a "clear page" option for clearing annotations for individual pages, it would be helpful if there was a "clear all annotations". This way, one could clear all annotations on every page in that notebook/file, rather than scrolling through each page one by one and manually clicking the current "clear page". I ask for this feature because as a college student, I like using Goodnotes for my practice exams, and it would be helpful if I could clear all my annotations from all the pages in my practice exam and start it fresh again.

Condensed tabs
Instead of having to scroll through different tabs for notes when several of them are open, they should condense and all stay on the screen for easier access (similar to how google chrome tabs do)

Make the colour palette visible
When I wanted to add new colours to the palette by typing in the hex number, I couldn’t see the number as I can’t scroll.

Filter Highlighter by colour
Would be very helpful if you could filter all highlighted passages in a text by colour, e.g. as in Adobe Reader. For example: you highlight definitions in red and theories in blue. It would be very helpful if you could then filter all highlighted passages by colours used in that document.

iPad native pen for Goodnotes
Needless to say, there are many advantages of goodnotes. Here is a Chinese user who loves handwriting:
I am a student who attaches great importance to handwriting experience. I like the experience of writing on paper and yearn for the convenience of taking notes on iPad. Therefore, I have been looking for a note taking software that can not only facilitate me to take notes, but also retain my experience of writing on paper to the greatest extent
After trying many software such as goodnotes, notability, marginnotes3, prodrafts and 印象笔记, I found that the function of goodnotes is the most suitable for me. But the writing experience of goodnotes alone is far from my writing experience on paper．
After trying so many note taking software, I found that the native pen on the iPad can retain my writing experience on paper to the greatest extent, so I hope goodnotes can add a function of importing the native pen on the iPad, and prodrafts does a good job．
There are many students around me who love handwriting, especially the art of calligraphy in China. Many students haveａgood writing on paper, but they can't show it on the iPad, which directly reduces their enthusiasm to use goodnotes

Add a slider for changing the eraser size
I think there should be more variety allowed when it comes to the eraser size. We shouldn't only have 3 sizes to choose from. I would prefer a slider, like that of the pen and highlighter tools, which allows us to get more specific sizes.

improved resizing Tool
please add a feature that you can instantly resize an object after circling it with the lasso tool by zooming with two fingers. So you don‘t have to tap on “resize“.

Measuring tape for more precise sketches. Additionally a middle point feature is practical for most intents and purposes.

[QoL] Deselect tools in toolbar
It is unnecessarily frustrating that when you select an item in the toolbar, you can't select that toolbar item again to deselect/get out of its menu. Your only options are to tap the top of the screen, or tap the page, which writes on it immediately and then you have to erase that. It's such a dumb and simple problem to fix, cmon.

filters for searching in text
when I'm writing in my notebooks I'm using the Cornell methode and write key words in a different colour. Adding filters to search (eg text that's only written in purple) would really come in handy when navigating through lots of pages.

Flash Cards + Spaced Repetition
I know you have a Flash card tool and spaced repetition but only inside of a document. It would be great to have a separate place where you have all your flash cards within the Goodnotes app and it tells you when to study what and you then go to the specific document
