text box opacity
Make it possible to set opacity of text box background so underlying items could still be seen.

Paint area for flash card answer
Some answers of questions are graphic based. It would be great so have some space for sketching instead of mind based answer contol.

Edit Image background in app
In Noteshelf, instead of simply cropping an image, you can erase the background. This is super helpful when taking quick notes for class and capturing images from a presentation. I don't like having to do a freehand crop in GoodNotes just to get rid of the extra stuff. It slows down the note taking process.

Ich nutze GoodNotes nun seit einiger Zeit und bin sehr davon angetan. Ich habe davor ein Jahr lang Notability getestet und muss sagen, dass das einzige was mich bei GoodNotes hält die Schnelltaste für Formen ist. Um Notability eine Nasenlänge voraus zu sein wären meiner Meinung nach folgende Verbesserungen Nötig:
- Es sollte möglich sein ausgeschnittene Textstücke,Bilder oder sonstiges von einer Seite auf die Nächste zu verschieben ohne die ausschnitte erst ausschneiden und dann wieder einfügen zu müssen. Wenn man mal schnell eine Seite umsortieren will stört dieser Vorgang den Workflow erheblich.
2.Wenn man ausschnitte von einem Aufgabenblatt ausschneidet und weiter unten wieder einfügt, sollte es möglich sein erneut einen Ausschnitt vom diesem Ausschnitt auszuschneiden und wieder einzufügen. Bisher muss man dann immer wieder zum Ursprünglichen Aufgabenblatt am Anfang der Datei was ebenfalls den Workflow stört und im Hinblick auf Mathematische Aufgaben einem auch gerne mal die Übersicht erschwert.
Die oben angesprochenen Punkte sind meiner Meinung nach die wichtigsten Änderungen die kommen müssen. Als Spielerei wären noch Strichlinien hilfreich und wenn man beim ausschneiden eines Ausschnitts nicht noch durch das untermenü müsste, sondern es wie beim ausschneiden von Text direkt im Zeilenmenü die Auswahl gäbe.

I have been using GoodNotes for some time now and am very fond of it. I tried Notability for a year before that and I have to say that the only thing that keeps me with GoodNotes is the shortcut key for forms. To be a step ahead of Notability, I think the following improvements are needed:
it should be possible to move cut text, images or anything else from one page to the next without having to cut and paste them. If you want to quickly rearrange a page, this process disrupts the workflow significantly.
if you cut a section from a task sheet and paste it further down, it should be possible to cut a section from this section and paste it again. Until now, you always have to go back to the original task sheet at the beginning of the file, which also disrupts the workflow and, with regard to mathematical tasks, also makes it difficult to keep track.
The points mentioned above are in my opinion the most important changes that need to come. As a gimmick, dash lines would be helpful and if you cut a section would not still have to go through the submenu, but there would be as when cutting text directly in the line menu selection.

Create the option to save your favorite or most used brushes
In the way that you can save your favorite brushes, meaning type, color and size, in other apps so you can quickly switch between the main brushes you use in a document, it would be nice if Goodnotes had a similar option as well. It would really speed up my note taking proces if I could quickly switch between different pens and highlighters.

Farbige Ordner und Notizbücher, bzw. Registerkarten
Ich hätte gerne die Möglichkeit, Ordner für eine bessere Übersichtlichkeit einzufärben. Und auch die einzelnen Registerkarten würde ich gerne einfärben können, um schneller etwas zu finden.

More geometric options
Maybe add things like a ruler / triangular ruler to make it easier to use goodnotes in math / geometric classes.

Integrate Native Gestures for copy and paste.
Right now good notes doesn't support pinching with three fingers to copy and pinching out to paste. The only option is to hold for a second until the copy option pops up which is a bit tedious and slow.

Streamlined pens
I would be really cool and easier to use if you had an optional feature of adding streamlined pens to smooth out your handwriting as I write on a glass screen with the apple pencil an my lines can turn out a bit wobbly or it really strains my hand when I try to use more control so my handwriting is neater.

High pdf sizes
Your pdf sizes are too big, when I compare it other pdfs in terms of page numbers. That creates a big problem in iCloud free users and who have limited storage like 32 GB. Also, the program runs sometimes slow in notebooks with many pages.

Improved text styling/tool
I do a lot of handwriting in GoodNotes, but would love to have improved text functionality. The current formatting options (like no bullets or lists, and not being able to type on the full page, having the create multiple text boxes for multiple pages, etc.) are super frustrating. I'd love to have all my notes in one place instead of having to use a different app for typed notes.

Further Keyboard Navigation
It would be tremendous to have the ability to launch the page organizer (with Thumbnails, Favorites, Outlines) via a keyboard shortcut. Furthermore, once in that window, it would be handy to be able to jump between the Thumbnails, Favorites, and Outlines views.
I use all 3 of those organizational features in different ways within the same notebook, but navigation can get cumbersome. Having these navigational shortcuts would be a game changer.

Zoom out/ in on a specific area instead of the whole page
If you've ever used procreate, you know what I'm referring to.
The zoom out / zoom in is an annoying aspect (I'm an avid Goodnotes user so I mean this without malicious intent) when trying to focus on a specific area of the page to write notes on. Let's say for example I am focusing on a diagram I'm drawing and want to zoom out on that specific area to only see my diagram and focus on that area, it's not possible; when zooming out, the whole page is zoomed out. I would love to have zoom in/ out that is similar to that of Procreate so that focus on a specific area of my notes without being distracted by the rest of my notes on the same page.
In addition, it would be amazing if you added a page on your website that tells Goodnotes fans/ users what upcoming features the team is working on. I know to some it may seem silly to keep up with a note-taking app but a lot of us that are avid users of Goodnotes really get excited about new features and would love to keep up with future updates.
I hope you'll read my suggestion and consider it.

Add text box to PDF
Please add text option to PDF. Microsoft One Note allows drawing and text typing. Please do the same for cleaner notes option which allows mobile users to also add emojis from keyboard!

Include support for Wacom pens with eraser end.
I would find it very useful if GoodNotes would include support for the eraser end of the pen used in higher-end Wacom screens and tablets. Thanks!

Erasure improvement
Double-tapping the erasure tool brings up some options. Add an objects switch to allow me to turn that off. This way I can hand-draw a quick chart and begin filling it with text. Now if I need to make changes I can simply turn off objects and not have to worry about erasing the cell borders.

Resize / Scale template
Any template, for any screen size, should be resizable. I.e. instead of "Ruled Narrow" or "Ruled Wide" There should be one "Ruled" with the option to change to whatever size / scale I wish.
This is especially important for the sheet music template which are too small for writing. (At least on my ipad)
