Lasso tools - add Duplicate
Please add Duplicate. Otherwise, we are stuck with Copy, then long click to show the Paste menu, then clicking Paste.

Temporary lasso tool
By pressing and holding without drawing, it temporarily changes to the lasso tool.
After deselecting, return to the original tool.

Infinty long pages
Dear GoodNotes team,
I really love your app. I’m a student who started using an iPad for school stuff during the pandemic. Since i started using GoodNotes i fell in love with the powerfull simplicity of the app. There is just one feature i would love to see added.
I would really enjoy the option to create pages who are as long as I’d like them to be. My idea is a pages that can fit a whole topic and you never painfully have to tun pages during writing. Once you are done with the entry you can cut of the page (maybe by creating a new one) and you have a whole booklet entry on one page and the next one on the following page. That way you have dynamically adjusting page lengths to whatever length you want. This would be a huge advancement for me.

Linking and sticky notes for digital handwriting!!!
Hi there,
1) In LiquidText, you have the ability to create links not only between different pages of the same book but across different books in the app. I want GoodNotes to implement it in pdf textbooks and digital handwriting notes and it will make study and research very easy.
2) In LiquidText again there is a feature in which you pinch to collapse the pages so that you could compare the material between two different pages of the same book. It’s awesome and it will make studies very easy and productive. So please work on it
3) Please either add the capability to extend the margins on all four sides of the pages of a pdf textbooks for digital handwriting commentary or add sticky notes where we could just digital handwrite our notes and tap to minimize or maximize it. Key: we must have the ability to handwrite our notes in these sticky notes.ALL 3 will make GoodNotes 5 a default pdf annotating and notes app if implemented in near future. Hopefully you’ll work on them.

Paste shortcut on mac version
The paste keyboard shortcut is not activated(command + V).

PRESET COLORS FOR FONTS.
great, we can do it with pens and highlighting, why not fonts. i don't always have the greatest handwriting, so at times I like to type my notes, and would like to have the same creative freedom. at this point why would I not just use google docs? i got goodnotes for the creative and hands on freedom it offered but this is seriously annoying

Ich hätte gerne die Möglichkeit, Ordner für eine bessere Übersichtlichkeit einzufärben. Und auch die einzelnen Registerkarten würde ich gerne einfärben können, um schneller etwas zu finden.

Quick scrolling as in other pdf viewers.
I really miss the feature that many other pdf viewers (and browsers, eg safari) have, where one presses and holds the scrolling button to move it up/down to a desired page.

We need an option to choose for the text to fit naturally to the lines of templates that have lines to type on. It would be great that when we change the chosen font, it would adapt and still fit in the line.
It's too troublesome trying to find the right font to fit into the lines, and I still cant find my perfect font and font size to do that.

Longer document titles in Mac and iPadOS version & Zotero Integration
Hello, I'm using GoodNotes to organize the pdfs for my grad school classes and wanted to make two feature requests:
- Please make the character length for document titles longer on Mac and iPadOS. When dealing with multiple documents from the same author in a single folder, it quickly becomes confusing because there is very little room to display the document name. I can understand this limitation on iPhone, but it should not be an issue on a Mac.

- Would an integration with Zotero (Mac app only, sadly) be possible? Ideally, I'd imagine a workflow where I can use an x-callback URL scheme for individual documents saved in GoodNotes so for example, if I look up my entry for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in Zotero, the entry contains the x-callback URL that, when clicked, opens up the associated pdf within GoodNotes.

design covers for folders
It would be nice you would have a folder symbol which imitates a real folder, and you could design it, now everything looks very technical.

Link a PDF page to a Handwritten Note
Imagine that you are taking notes out of a 1500 pages PDF and you don’t want to go back and forth between outlined pages. You could simply make a link to that page and paste it over one/more of your notebook/s.
I have this issue because i work with european laws and every manual has a lot of pages. Sometimes instead of writing down an infinite law I prefer to go check it out instantly instead of searching manually or using multitasking in GoodNotes.

Zoom window shortcut
where is the ink color selector in the zoom window in GoodNotes 5? :( Zoom window on GN4 was way better then GN5...
That's why I'm still on GN4.
It was your strongest point over others app.... Very sad.. not every one want to haver a big iPad that Don fit on a bag, or have resource to have one... In my case, going all up to the screen change the pen color, to make an obs in diferente Collor, it a sux kind of UX.@GoodNotesApp If you want I can make a comparison video showing the difference on UX at this point. On reddit u can see a lot of customers very sad with the promise of 2 years a go of some solution on GN5 on this point.

tool bar favorites while using zoom feature
I would love it if when using the zoom feature there was a smaller tool bar above the zoom window. It breaks up the flow to have to reach all the way to the other side of the screen to change the pen or color I am using. If it was completely customizable like with the pens, highlighters etc. I choose and able to be moved around the screen that would be great too.

Automatic color inversion for dark paper
We need an option to somewhat invert dark papers with bright colors into white papers with a dark color but in a more controlled way so we can read on a dark mode and print it on a typical paper.
