I would like to be able to mark a page or notebook for review and then be able to set a reminder notification.

File icon size
When I open the app I see these huge size folders and notebooks that I like their shape but not the size and iwish if there more size options, espacially smaller.

Undo template change
Add an undo function that allows a template change to be undone. I’ve lost lecture note slides when trying to change the template of a blank page inserted between the slides.

Being able to tilt the pages.
When I write traditional I have to angle my paper. Not a complete 90 degrees. Just ever so slightly.

GoodNotes to PDF Bleeding
When exporting a GoodNotes note to pdf, there is that bleeding of words (shown in picture). It loses that professionalism and clarity and I really do not want to stop using GoodNotes but these two factors are important to me. If there is no fix on this, I might need to switch to another note-taking app, unfortunately.

notes can across pages instead of copying and pasting
When I have more than half of a page left but can't fit my next note, I want to add the next blank page to continue what I did on the previous page without having to re-paste the entire note onto a new page. In addition to taking notes, I also want the roping tool to move across pages, which is faster and easier than copying and pasting. This function works on notability.

Screenshot straight to clipboard [macOS/iOS]
When I select an area and take a screenshot it opens another screen.
It would be much better to have the option (Maybe in settings) to put a screenshot straight into the clipboard. A lot of the time I just want to quickly copy from an imported PDF document to separate notebook.21 votes -

Bilder und Texte sollten, ohne sie kopieren und einfügen und dann das alte löschen zu müssen, auf eine neue Seite geschoben werden können. Zumindest im Vertikalmodus macht das Sinn und wäre eine Zeitersparnis.

magic wand to cut background
sorry I do not speak english very welll.
my suggestion is a magic wand tool when cutting out the background of the image. I know you have the free hand option but it is limited and still leaves traces of the background of the image.3 votes -
Detect duplicated documents when adding a new one
When adding a new document (PDF) to Goodnotes, it would great to check if the document is not already in the library (Apple Books does that already).

Print dark mode background/template on physical dark printer paper without wasting ink
When printing notes that have dark mode/background/template
I would like to print this on dark printing paper,
Therefore Goodnotes would only need to print for the handwriting ink/text or pictures and not waste printer ink on creating a dark background ( since the printer paper is already black).

Multiple image import from camera roll
You have an excellent app!
Please can you improve it by allowing more than one image to be selected and imported into GoodNotes from the users camera roll at a time.
Sometimes I need to import 10 or more screenshot images from my camera roll and currently I have to do this one at a time which is very cumbersome.
Please can we have multiple image import from camera roll, or if it already exists let me know how I can do this?

Color Select Crop ("Magic Wand")
Make it possible to "Magic Wand"-select a color that you need to crop away on a picture, so that you're left with only the image on the page, no white borders around it. (The same way it can be done in Photoshop or even Apple's Pages & Keynote)
e.g. Red dot on white square picture, becomes only the red dot that I can freely move around in GoodNotes, without hiding text behind the white border.

Pen tool and Highlighter tool
In pen tool and highlighter tool, only three colours can be set at the same time, but is there any way to set four or more colours on the tool bar at the same time? Personally, I use black, red, blue and green frequently, but every time I need to switch one of three colour settings. Since there is still space on the tool bar, the app should allow the users to add more colour settings on the bar (like Microsoft OneNote). What do you think?

Grid view, simplifying outline feature and organization
Functionality:
Using grid view you could import a long PDF sideways while being able to scroll the howl document down. You could name, hide/collapse and do other actions on sections by having a menu on the left and right of the page. Names could be saved in the outline feature.Use cases and benefits:
Grid view could be beneficial if you have a long PDF you import and want to make Notes on a separate page. You could split the screen, but this would be much more time-consuming.

Slide Notes
When uploading a powerpoint or PDF slides to goodnotes, it would be really nice if there was the option to make them slide notes. For example: there would be 3 slides per page on the left side then on the right side there would be empty lines to take notes on. Microsoft Powerpoint offers this as an option when printing slides. I believe this would be a great addition for students since most instructors teach off of slides, this way students can add notes without cluttering the slide or having to rewrite everything.

Split screen & pen color selection.
I am using goodnotes 5 in an iPad pro 11 inch in a split screen mode, with the lecture slides on the other half of the scree, doing so will optimize the tool bar and i cannot be using the preset three pen colors without directly. I either have to reduce my slides to less than half of the screen which not ideal, or clicking on the pen options to select a different color, which does take sometime. Is there an option where i can edit the items in the toolbar, to select what is used frequently (pen, highlighter, eraser)…

Text box Tool Bug
After creating a Text Box and adding text it is quite difficult to change the layout again. For example, the text color cannot be changed anymore unless using the lasso tool.
