Re-import the pdf
I took notes after importing the PDF, and then I modified the original PDF. How can I re-import the PDF without losing the existing notes?

Scroll all the Bookmarked pages at once
Ok, so all my bookmarks in a document I want to be able to only see when I scroll the bookmarked pages when I press on it from that tab. For instance, in notability, all your bookmarks in that tab you can just scroll and see all of them. For classes that I have 100+ pages, and I have marked 30 pages of only the relevant material, is very inconvenient that I can only see them in the little square and to go to next book mark page I have to find thumbnail marked. I want to scroll all of the bookmarks in that document at once.

better way to organize elements
Can the edit feature for the elements have the same mechanics as when we move notepads/files?
Currently we get a teeny-tiny screen, and have to drag stickers individually, and click "done". This makes it really frustrating and time consuming to organize stickers, which sometimes get all jumbled on download.
It would be better to a) be able to select multiple elements and b) drag them to other collections if we want, c) on a larger or full-sized window, and d) to not have all the work undone when we click out of that window. Basically the same mechanics as the normal files.

INDUSTRY STANDARD text formatting
GoodNotes is the best note taking app for iPad.
But there is a chunk of the userbase which uses it on their laptops/mac's and use the text feature a lot - both full page writing tool and floating text box alike.
There's a lot to improve and catch up in these features comparing to dominating industry standards of note taking apps writing tools like in Notion for example.
GoodNotes could leverage its handwriting features combined with an improved text writing experience to be even more outstanding in the market of note taking apps.
The improvements include:
1. Introducing easy via keyboard text formatting via writing commands e.g. "/h1
for heading 1 rather than having to click through cmd + or cmd - keyboard
commands in order to get the proper font-weight and size in the full page text
writing tool.
- Keyboard commands: /h1, /h2, /h3, /paragraph, /caption, /bulleted list, /numbered list
- Or introduce Markdown text formatting
2. Fixing the issues with numbered lists
- not being able to create a list with a different beginning number than 1.
3. Introducing merging → into arrows and — into a long dashThe issue could stand in consistency of features between the floating text box and the full page writing tool. The implementations of the commands in the full page writing tool are obvious, but in the floating box this would require some mind storming.
Nevertheless, it would be useful to make writing easier, smoother and more pleasant experience for us laptop users, and some of the iPad users with a keyboard.

[Tape] Snap Tape to Selected Area
I love the new tape feature but I have A LOT of content that I need to tape over at a time! I would really love it if we had the option to make a box around what we want to tape and have the shape snap and fill in (like we have for the shape snap feature). My only other option currently is to make the pen as big as possible and color over an entire paragraph at once which has been very time consuming!

Laser Pointer in Voice recordings
I suggest for the laser pointer to show up in the notes when you do a voice recording. Not saying for it to stay on the page but would be nice to make notes such as circling something while a professor goes over it without the circle being permanent. Hence the laser pointer function.

Improve AI Diagram Generation
The AI Diagram generator feature is great for the “Mind Map”, although it struggles to edit mistakes, but the horizontal flow chart as absolutely awful. It’s useful and could be greatly improved!

Function to freeze inserted image in place
Hey,
When writing on top of an inserted image whilst having zoomed in on said image, it sometimes occurs that whilst trying to move the visible area instead the whole image is moved/ the positioning of the image on the page is moved.
This happens because the image was accidentally selected and therefore made movable.To counteract this it would be nice to implement a feature that allows the user to "freeze an inserted image in place", meaning it can not be selected (and therefore not moved) anymore until it is "unfrozen".

"Battery saver mode" and "Performance mode" in GoodNotes for iPad
I noticed that my iPad battery gets drained very quickly when I use Goodnotes. It would be great if the Goodnotes team could introduce the features of "Battery saver mode" and "Performance mode" so that it won't consume a lot of battery when I don't need peak performance.
Also, it would be even great to have to GoodNotes team decrease the overall battery consumption of app without introducing those 2 features :)

When creating new element allow to paste from clipboard
Noteshelf does this. Very handy when using the subject detection in Photos on iPad or iPhone. I'm taking photos of stickers from sticker books and iOS is very good at selecting the subject from the background.

Changing linetype and thickness with lassl
It would be nice if we can change linetype (dotted, dashed) and thickness after selecting line with lasso like we can change color.
It would be so helpful because now if i want dotted or dashed line after i write or draw something i have to redraw it again. It would be nice to just select it with lasso and change line settings like you want4 votes -
