Deleting a file while it is open
Once we finish reading a PDF and want to delete it for good, we now have to go to the location (folder) of the file and delete. That is lot of work navigating to the actual location.

Able to Order documents however we like
Goodnotes orders our documents based on date, name, and type. Maybe there is a way we can order our documents however we would like as well.

Custom Sort Option
I like that we have three options of sorting, but honestly I would like to either manually sort the folders etc…or have it where inside different folders you can have a different option selected. To be honest having both would be awesome.

Flash card “ai” image
When you write a word in flash cards , you have an option for aI generated image or stock photo to add to either side of the card . This would be helpful for language learning and science flash cards

Better Keyboard Functionality
I'm using Windows 11on the Surface Pro 8 with keybaord and pen. I want to make daily planner pages. I find that the keyboard integration is pretty much nil. I can't use my arrow keys to move text boxes up or down, I have to use the pen. Going back and forth when you're creating something is a pain. When my keyboard is attached I would like the ability to tap anywhere and type, it's a pain in the arse to have to create a textbox first; in fact having to create a text box at all seems archaic to me. One should be able to click with a mouse/mouse pad, or tap with a pen and then type or write. Instead of having to tap on the radio button to go to a page, add arrows at the top of the page that one is working on. What I'd really like is a vey simple daily planner with tabs so that all I have to do is write my entries in. I would like a notes section, monthly calendar section with a section to write in daily appointments. I would also like to be able to add in note pages as I need them. This is what I'm trying to make in Goodnotes. I've been unable to find a nice simple digital planner online. Could you guys just make some daily planner pages so I can do that? Or just fix the keyboard functionality.

I'm using the Good Note 6 as an iPad, and I usually take a lot of notes. Please add an Apple Pencil tilt deactivation function in the standard pencil. I want to prevent the writing from getting thicker depending on the tilt because it's uncomfortable to take notes.

Export of some pages to PDF from the notebook
Hi, I have GOODNOTES on my Microsoft surface studio computer and I use it regularly.
The problem: I need to export some pages in the notebook to a PDF file and I don't have such an option. That's why I have to export all the pages and after that delete the pages I don't need with external software.
(I know such an option has changed on tablets and phones - but it would be very helpful to have such an option on the computer as well).1 vote -
add „Highlighted“ to the contents overview
There are quiet a lot of feature request regarding being able to export all Highligthed parts of an PDF. However for a start i think it would be beneficial if, you could filter the (miniature) pages in the content view to show Pages that has been Highligthed or written a note on.
Kind off like the Bookedmarked tab shows only bookedmarked pages. For start it probably would be enough to show the entire page a Highligthed has been made. In a Perfect world (probably quiet challenging to archive) this could maybe work like the preview when searching for something in a PDF, so that only a small part (wich the marked) part is shownI also would be a fan of a way to X-Ray or summarize marked bits like suggested here https://feedback.goodnotes.com/forums/191274-customer-suggestions-for-goodnotes/suggestions/19640692-a-search-engine-to-find-highlighted-text-on-ipad the idea is quiet old and got a lot of upvotes but hasn’t been addressed yet as far as I`m concerned.

Enable extend mode for a second screen when using goodnotes
It would be fantastic to display other Apps ( for Schoolbooks. Pdf. , etc. ) on a second screen and open a document in goodnotes to make notes.
The normal iOS note does it in this way.
Goodnotes directly switches to presenter Mode if i open a document and hides my digital Schoolbooks.Should be like shown on the picture.

Since most of the Android devices doesn't support palm rejection, please include a ZOOM WINDOW feature in your App in android version. It will be a very helpful especially for those who wants to use your app comfortably. Thank You!

Automatic Page Continuation when Typing with Keyboard
When typing and reaching the end of a page, the text does not automatically continue onto a new page. It would be very helpful if the app automatically opened a new page when the bottom of the current page is reached, similar to other programs like Word or Pages.

Flash Card Overview Document
I feel like it would be useful for an option to open a list view of all flashcards that have been made in each study set. A page where flashcards can be printed or viewed at all the same time.

Bug - Fix the blank space next to the color palette on toolbar
There is a blank space next to the color palette, so the palette isn’t showing as many colors as it could. The palette isn’t taking up all the space to the edge of the screen (see the screenshot).
The size of the blank space seems to depend on how many tools you have on your toolbar but it is present even without editing the default tool order.
I tried reinstalling the app - it was fixed for about a day and then the issue appeared again.
I’m facing this issue on my 11” iPad Pro 2022, but also have seen it on my friend’s 10,9” Air 2022 and some other iPads in my class.

Universal color pallets
Instead of having a separate color pallet for pens/ highlights/ text, have the option to use colors from one pallet on another tool. Ex: using pen color presets for text or highlighters. I often use the same color in different tools for my notes but in doing so I have to create the same color pallet for each tool.
