Ability to Import or Design Covers
No offense to those who have designed the cover templates, but for designers, architects, engineers, artists and anybody who is more creatively inclined — we would much prefer to import images as backgrounds for creating our own custom covers, and/or design our own using some embedded tool. I need to visually glance at groups of notebooks and understand immediately what applies to what project, or in what category they are. This is something pretty critical for me as I ramp into using GoodNotes for many different projects.

Pinch and stretch to resize image after lasso - one pressure point to move, two to resize or reorient
Most artistic or note apps allow you to select an image and directly resize it using two fingers to stretch or pinch. In this same way it can also be reoriented or flipped. Much easier than holding pressure and flipping to resize, and a must for resizing boxes when i am noteteaking for school. Thanks!

single finger erase
Hi!
Goodnotes is amazing, it transformed my ipad experience. The one gripe I have is that it is really cumbersome to switch between pen and eraser. I suggest that when the stylus is used, and "single finger drag" is turned off, I should be able to turn on "single finger erase". So write with stylus, erase with finger, drag with two fingers.
Hope this is a small and easy feature... I'd definitely pay for it!

Page Swipe/Scroll
Please allow the pages to be swiped like ebooks. Or other ways of maneuvering the pages like a scroll down option or ebook style. It helps sooo much when i’m reading books i’ve copied to the app!

Optional not-fading highlighter after you release the pencil
When working on a dark background, all GoodNotes highlighters are soo hard to see. they lose their color after I take off my pencil.
There must be optional setting that colors stay the same, as in Notability.
Yet, another reason for me why I have to use Notability.

B5 worksheet
Please add B5 paper worksheet, because there is no B5 choice and most college students are using B5 paper because it has a lot of space to write and i'm unable to print my notes to B5 paper type.

Multiple features from GoodNotes 4
There are multiple features that I used daily from Goodnotes 4 that are non-existent in Goodnotes 5. I know you said that the Airplay display features are coming but since I only used Goodnotes while Airplaying this is a big deal for me.
Also there is no option for importing/exporting to other cloud based storage (google drive, OneDrive for business, Dropbox). I used these with the automatic backup feature (also non-existent) everyday in my classroom. when I draw a shape I want it to be a real shape and not some figure
every time I try to do an hexagon or some other triangles or even circles its never comes out right' I need to mess with it like 4 min to get it to the right shape, and what is the big deal to add it?

Pictures save and copy and paste
When you take a photo through goodnotes have that picture saved in your iPad photo app automatically. Also be able to drag or copy and late pictures easily from one screen or page to another

Enable laser pointer with finger touch
iOS - The laser pointer is a fantastic feature. However, as a teacher, switching between the laser pointer and pen tool constantly is very cumbersome. If the laser pointer was activated by a finger touch, while the pen tool is still selected, this would streamline SO much.

Convert scanned handwriting to ink
Something similar to Creceed Carbo app. I'd love to be able to import a scan/photo of notes that I actually took in paper but edit them as if I wrote them in GoodNotes.

Imported covers support alpha transparency

As someone who makes GoodNotes journal covers, I appreciate flexibility in being able to make covers that look like real books. Part of that includes rounded corners and things that protrude, like the clasp on a filofax planner. When I make these images as transparent PNGs, the background becomes white in GoodNotes. I've tried to alleviate this by adding a solid grey background, but this isn't good enough for a couple of reasons.

Basic text formatting
GoodNotes has become my default note taking app. However, there are times when I need to work with text but typing directly onto the page. Please include basic text formatting (i.e., bold, italics, underline, bullet list, etc.) in the future.

An option to add many various shapes and symbols from an existing library (like in word docs) instead of drawing only several shapes.

I am getting a touchscreen Chromebook but since this app isn't available on the Chrome Web Store, I won't be able to use it. Having Goodnotes on my other devices would be extremely helpful because I take my laptop to school and use it for all of my assignments.

Allow to insert image from clipboard
We are already able to copy an image to clipboard with the lasso tool.
Would be great if we could insert that image later again.
At the moment we need to safe it to photos and insert it from there, which can quickly mess up our photos.4 votes -
