Goodnotes 6
Goodnotes 5 has been superb as a notetaking app. Goodnotes 6 is following the path of other apps to add features, change structures and increase file sizes with cosmetic changes that don’t improve efficiency or effectiveness. Microsoft OneNote has many features and much of what Goodnotes 6 offers. The extra features don’t improve navigation or effectiveness and make the app clunky. Rather than have one app that must DO everything, if you want to add features, create two. One that is great for notetaking and one that adds the frills, takes extra space and add “glitter”

Imports go into open folder also on Goodnotes 6, like they did in 5
When importing a pdf into Goodnoes, they should by default go into the active folder, not into “Documents” root.
You guys had it right in Goodnotes 5 but not in 6, I have had to revert back to 5 until this is solved. When it works properly, I can upgrade.3 votes -
at a glance
Requesting having a feature to view multiple pages at a time and have a draggable scroll bar to run through the pages quickly like you would do in a normal notebook. The current at a glance menu (four square one) allows you to see 4 pages in a single row which, depending on how big we write isn't enough to understand what the content is on each page.

Insert title and photos to comments
Ability to insert both titles and photos to each comment. The only option today is an automatic serial number as a title and only typing text as a comment.

App Store Missing One-time Subscription
When trying to purchase a one-time payment for Goodnotes 6, the only available plans are the 1-year plans. This might be due to having started with the free trial, but I am worried about losing previously-made documents.

Handwriting personalization for scribble-to-erase
With the addition of scribble to erase, some words that I write (especially cursive) tend to be mistaken as an attempt to erase. An addition of a personalization feature where we can input specific strokes that shouldn't be treated as scribbling would be extremely helpful, as currently I cannot use the scribble-erase function unless I never use the word "the" or "those"

Math font color change
The math font feature is great, but changing the color of the font would be very helpful so the typing could be seen on different colored pages.
Right now the quickest option is to copy and paste the math into a text box and change it from there.7 votes -

Changing Fonts for Full Page Typing Feature
Although the full page typing feature (see image below) is useful, it only supports the default Arial font currently. Please can GoodNotes allow users to change fonts for the full page typing feature?

Add a way to crop audio
For those who forget to stop the audio recording there should be a way to crop audio ASAP like in the next update so we don’t have to delete audio or have a really long audio file that has nothing on it.

Voice Recording
With the release of Goodnotes 6, I would like to have a feature where the voice recording in iOS can be shared with the Windows version. This will be such a good improvement and easier for anyone with different devices.

Toolbar Problems When Using The Split View
It is impossible to take the pen, the eraser or the highlighter without tapping on the toolbar when using the “slide over” (third option in the split view options). It becomes very hard and troublesome when I want to take the pen again after using the lasso tool for a very short time. Because I have to tap the toolbar to take the pen or the eraser again so I have to close the sliding screen and open it again after I take the tool I want. Moreover, closing and opening the sliding screen causes a cancellation of the zoom…

Improve text overflow feature
Please improve the overflow text feature. Right now, if I add text to an existing page and it reaches the end, I have to add a new page for overflow each time. It should be possible to overflow to the next existing page automatically. Also, I do not see the overflow text until I add a page, so what I have written can easily be lost if I am not paying close attention. I have to backspace until the writing reappears, or add a new page- but not seeing a paragraph I have written is very stressful. It also breaks…

Changing line thickness without resizing
Please add the option to change the line thickness of your notes (with lasso tool) without resizing everything.
This would be very useful when realizing that your notes would look better if the linewidth was smaller/larger after you already took a lot of notes

Adding link to anything
Whether it be my handwriting, a sticker, picture or whatever i want to add link directly to them and also linking other pages of the same notebook or some other notebook so by tapping once I’m seamlessly taken to that page. Might help in making indexes
