  1. Fix Cloud Storage on essential plan

    Every Good Notes Essential plan bought since September 23rd 2025 (previously called "All Platforms Yearly" doesn't enable the user to sync their files between Apple and Windows/Android. So the users basically have two separate apps.
    That is absolutely useless.

    The advantage was to access and edit the files on different devices.

    For example: It is way easier for me to type flashcards on my windows laptop than on my iPad but I can't even open them on my laptop if I export them (wich already would be inconvenient). So I can't use them together. Study Sets aren't even supported for…

  2. please fix this annoying glitch

    Whenever I am writing, and I scroll to above pages and then come back down what I see is the app has God knows how merged the annotation of two pages into one that is the content of two pages suddenly overlaps in one page and there is no way to fix this, you cannot undo this since it is glitch and even when restarted, it is still the same fix this ASAP or refund my subscription. I use this app for academic purpose, and this bug has destroyed my notes

  3. feature lock

    I would be thrilled to have the ability to 'lock' images or stickers, so that you can handwrite on them without constantly selecting and moving them on accident. (especially if something can be 'anchored' to the page, so that it can't be lassod)

  5. Pins for whiteboard

    Using Whiteboard quite intensively right now there is one thing I‘d love to be added: pins! For example the app prodrafts has that feature on their whiteboard where you can place a pin anywhere on the whiteboard by long pressing somewhere. You can name that pin and set a color. There‘s a pins menu where you can see all your pins and by tapping on one quickly navigate to its place on the whiteboard. When zooming out the pin gets bigger so that when fully zoomed out you see all these „isles“ on your whiteboard with their pins readable, making…

  6. Monospaced font for "Code Block" in "Text Doc"

    The new Text Doc document type offers the option to insert “Code Block”, which is intended to be an area for source code. However, it seems that the code block is not using a monospaced font, which may be an overlooked bug.

    Dear Goodnotes Team,

    I hope you are doing well. I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent change in the selection tool behavior in Goodnotes Web.

    After the latest update, whenever we select elements on the canvas, several options such as Copy, Cut, Transform, Change Color, etc., automatically appear directly on top of the selected content. This makes the canvas look cluttered and makes it harder for both teachers and students to clearly view or reposition the selected items.

  10. Enhanced color control for LaTeX math

    The amazing LaTeX conversion feature is currently hindered by the need for us users to manually insert LaTeX code (like \textcolor{...}) whenever we want to change the color of a rendered equation.

    To significantly enhance our experience, I ask you to integrate the standard Text Color Picker to allow for direct, easy and instant color changes upon selecting a converted equation. Implementing this would automatically handle the underlying code changes, making it extremely practical and fast to style the converted equations.

    When I duplicate my text box, or simply finish writing in it, a “bug” appears with only part of the text box duplicated, which remains there and cannot be removed. It also happens that I write in a text box, go to another document in GoodNotes, and when I return to the document I wrote in, the text box is no longer there.     Some functionalities are missing:
    1. The option to customize the color of the folders according to our preferences, I mean, to use the colors that do not appear in the list, simply by entering their hexadecimal code or RGB values.
    2. I also think it would be convenient to allow the user to customize the colors, in the sense that we can create a kind of list or palettes, assign names to them and order them, for Pencil, Highlighter, Tape, Shapes and Sticky notes.

    95% of the time I use this app I am in split screen mode. Just yesterday I was able to switch between pen colors and pen sizes with 1 tap. Now (even stripping my tool bar to the bare minimum) the pen sizes are consolidated and I need to tap a button then tap the pen size I want- even though there is extra space in the bar to expand the menu.   16. Preserve outline filter preference

    There should be an option to automatically filter your document outlines. I continue to toggle off pdf outline to only view my custom outlines but every time I make a new document or even leave the app, all the outlines are back again making it hard to navigate sections of my notebook.

    Hello, could you all add the ability to have all of our colors be universal across all pens, pencils, sticky notes, text, and etc.? It is annoying trying to use a color that I know I have added with the pen but did not feel like adding to the pencil, text, and highlighter separately.     Hi GoodNotes team and community! I’ve been using GoodNotes for a while now, and I absolutely love how intuitive it is for note-taking and organizing my work. One thing I’ve been thinking about, though, is how much time I spend switching between tools while taking notes—especially during fast-paced meetings or lectures.
