Import mp3 file
It would be nice to import mp3 audio files directly to notes. Take for example, a voice memo recorded onto the default app, it would be nice if I could import it to a Goodnotes note. The notes being synced would be neat, but that is not as important.

Standart size
When you have a canvas or a large note, to have the ability to set a standart size that you would use for writing, so that you can navigate around without having to take a long time to adjust the note after expanding or minimising.

Change action priorities for actions on text
When I turn handwriting into text my #1 goal is to edit. This (apparently) has to be done using a finger tap, so ok, I'll work with that. I don't want to see a giant menu right away, which is what it does now, I instead want the insertion cursor to appear where I tap the text. (I'd use a tap and hold to bring up the menu.) I also don't want the regular virtual keyboard to appear and cover the text I just tapped, the text should remain visible :)

Cursor for washi tape
Include a line or cursor (upside down T) so users can line washi tape up with paper line or other lines. In the current state, the user has to guess to align washi tape, delete, and try again, or apply the washi tape, lasso it, and then move it. It will be easier to include a cursor so washi tape can be applied straight the first time.

Language setting not applied when creating a new note via double tap
GoodNotes is truly an excellent app. I use it every day.
However, I am facing the following issue:

When creating a new note via double tap, the language setting configured in the settings screen is not applied.
Details
- I want to create notes with the Japanese language setting, but when I create a new note using the double-tap feature from the new note creation screen, the language is set to US by default.
- As a result, handwritten note titles are not recognized correctly, forcing me to manually edit the title using the keyboard every time.

Search for notes based on time criteria.
When we take a lot of notes during a long period of time, It can be difficult to find them back. It could be useful to generate "timestamps" along a notebook, such as date creation of a page, or tag with the time of the first note of the day, or a stamp with de date/time you want to tag in a page. The time then could be a criterion for search or when you review all the pages.

Permanent Side Notes
I would love it if we would be able to have notes on the side of our pages for easier annotating. Whenever I upload a PDF of some sort, I find it difficult to keep all my annotations spaced out on the page, especially with uploaded textbook pages where there is a lot of text and very small margins. Being able to add images and diagrams to the side for note taking would also be great, as sometimes I want to see it as a reference but don't actually want it on my page. Import Speaker Notes from Powerpoint (PPTX) files
Please create an option to natively import speaker notes from powerpoint files into either adendums to each slide, separate slides that follow each slide the notes are associated with, or another method like a sticky note on each slide. It shouldn't be a massive hassle to implement, since Powerpoint files can be extracted by command line as zip files, and all the speaker notes are located in /ppt/notesSlides/notesSlide*.xml files, with each slide having its own notesSlide.xml file. Redesign Writing Tab + Text-Wrap-Pictures
Currently the writing tool in Goodnotes is a little useless in my opinion there are like 5 styles I can choose from.
Why can’t I change the font?
Why can’t I change the size specifically?
Why can’t I insert pictures that move with text or wrap the Text?
Why can’t YOU use the existing feature of the Textbox for the Writing Tool?

Bugs, Long loading time fix instead of useless AI
The App loads for five seconds every time I switch from another app to Goodnotes that’s incredibly annoying and Please, Please fix this. Generally the App is really slow even on a fast device.
I think you should fix such problems first instead of inventing the 3rd AI feature or a nasty animated circle around the active tool. I mean wtf nobody needs this. I just want a working app.3 votes
