Scribble-to-erase sensitivity slider
It would be nice to be able to adjust the sensitivity of scribble to erase. Sometimes, when trying to erase large blocks of writing, if you don't scribble thoroughly enough Goodnotes won't recognize that you're trying to erase and you have to do it again. Maybe there could be a feature for us to determine how sensitive we want it to pick up on scribble-to-erase, for users who use it really often to erase?

MAKE THE RHOMBUS A SHAPE
Make it possible for the app to recognise a rhombus shape and enhance shape recognition in general. Sometimes when I make small circles it detects them as ovals or worse as squares. For my use case this problem is a huuge limitation.

Ability to set default font per notebook
My most used goodnotes notebooks are drastically different page sizes. I often have to switch the font continuously or duplicate an existing text box in the destination notebook in order to have the proper sized font.

Cross-Compatability Andriod/IOS/Windows
Please add this! I love good notes so much but I use an iPad and Samsung phone. I really want to be a digital planner girlie but I don't want to bring my bulky iPad everywhere! I'm so jealous of the iPhone users!

creation date for all pages with search function
it would be nice to have the creation date in the drop down menu under every page/file/note

Tape and smart learn
Hello,
I think that it is highly inconvenient that the tape tool becomes uninteractive while reviewing cards in the smart learn mode, both tools are extremely practical and I think that being able to combine the two of them would increase the learning experience.
We could then make flash cards with sentences where the key words are covered with tape to see we know it in depth.5 votes -
Timer in presentation mode
I’m using goodnotes in my class to teach and like to make the timer visible in de presentation mode. This way students can see how much time they for a certain practice. Can this be done?

Search function in learn cards
I am currently summarizing 400 pages of slides for my studies on Learn sets and learning with the smart learn. Unfortunately, I'm missing a mega important feature: I can't search my learning sets to see whether I've already recorded topics or questions or whether I still need to record them. A search function for the learning sets would be very essential here.

Customizable folder icons and covers
Dear GoodNotes Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to suggest a feature that I believe would greatly enhance the user experience within GoodNotes.
It would be amazing if users could customize folder icons and covers in a way similar to how we can currently add custom paper templates or notebook covers. Specifically, I would love the ability to:
• Import custom icons or images to use as folder icons.
• Personalize folder covers with our own images or designs, making them visually distinct and tailored to individual preferences.

Customizable Bookmarks and Bookmark Groups
I would like to suggest adding a feature that allows users to create and name personalized bookmark groups, as well as customize bookmarks with various colors.

OCR
I would like there to be a text recognition function (OCR) inside Goodnotes 6 so that it is possible to search for paragraphs of text in the various documents by writing certain words in the search bar, even if the PDF I am searching for is in non-editable image format (a bit like what is done with the iPhone gallery app)
Also a function to convert the texts of non-editable PDFs into copyable and editable text but at the same time having careful attention to not modify the layout of the page, such as PDF X-CHANGE FOR Windows

Folder order
Allow user to be able to drag and organise different notes/folders etc into any order that they want, instead of being limited to organising them by ‘date’ ‘name’ or ‘type’. I believe that this would allow me to organise my Goodnotes app that extra step further to make it perfect.

Changing thickness of writing with lasso tool
I hope the Lasso tool could change the thickness of the writing. Currently we could change the color, but at times we need the thickness to separate titles from body text that we couldn't do when we are busy taking notes. This could help the note review process slightly more efficient.

"Battery saver mode" and "Performance mode" in GoodNotes for iPad
I noticed that my iPad battery gets drained very quickly when I use Goodnotes. It would be great if the Goodnotes team could introduce the features of "Battery saver mode" and "Performance mode" so that it won't consume a lot of battery when I don't need peak performance.
Also, it would be even great to have to GoodNotes team decrease the overall battery consumption of app without introducing those 2 features :)

Please evaluate the Goodnotes app for accessibility and provide VPAT(S) and an. Accessibility Statement with your security and privacy options. VPAT version of the template should be 2.4 or higher (itic.org/policy/accessibility/vpat) and use the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA (w3.org/TR/WCAG21/)or higher standards.
Aside from making your application as accessible as possible to make it inclusive and abide by current laws, it will help you comply with the April 2024 update to the Title II if the ADA (federalregister.gov/documents/2024/04/24/2024-07758/nondiscrimination-on-the-basis-of-disability-accessibility-of-web-information-and-services-of-state#). Make it more useable like LiquidText , like just linking things with just connecting words and pages. Which will be more helpful for researching.
