Move page on background
Moveability of the virtual page on the virtual background would be a huge banger. Maybe even rotation to fit to the user natural hand allignment on the page.
Why?
I ALWAYS have that huge problem on the lower part of every page. Cant access it porperly because of the rim of my iPad. It gets worse with my confuguration because i have heavy duty case (work in industry) which thickens the iPad alot.
ofc I would have the same problem with normal paper or notebooks.. but we could have that option, right? :D

Count highlighted squares on graphs.
Many cross stitchers use Goodnotes to stitch downloaded pdf patterns and highlight the charts(graphs) to keep track of where they are and know what percentage they have completed. Many like to track stitch count (per stitching session and cumulative), so it would be nice if Goodnotes had this feature. Thanks for considering this suggestion.

檔名較長時在修改檔案名稱的時候常常按不到最前面跟最後面，會一直跳出。
螢光筆希望可以出水平直線功能，不是畫了按住不放才直線，這樣要等很久，而且只要稍微歪一點，就會變成斜直線，要有一個可以強制開啟水平直線的功能。1 vote -
minimum os requirements
Your minimum os requirement is way too high for me to enable icloud sync. My old computer is fine but to enable sync I have to upgrade my os which my old computer does not support. I would not subscribe goodnotes for a function I cannot use. It is impossible for me to buy a new computer just to be able to use the new version of goodnotes. Stop forcing me to upgrade my computer os. You need to be more inclusive!

add an option to correct handwriting to make it neater
my handwriting is quite inconsistent and i think it would be a cool idea to have good notes recognise the letter you are typing and change it to a selected ‘font’. i know that i could just type but i much prefer to write my notes because that’s how i memorise well but i find myself rewriting a word multiple times to just make it look nicer. you could also go a step further and allow users to create their own ‘fonts’. this way it would be corrected to be neater but it would still stay in their handwriting. i…

CJIS
I work for a local government entity and I have several investigators that purchased goodnotes to use for their investigations. Due to this product not being a CJIS approved (certified app) they are not allowed to install and use the application on their departmental ipads. Is there any plans to get your product CJIS approved.

Flashcard editing: allow use of the "zoom while writing" and "ruler" tool.
As it was available in the previous GoodNotes version! I can NOT write neatly without the zoom tool. Why was this feature taken away? :( Also a ruler tool was introduced, but it is not available for flashcards… Again – WHY?
I had perfected GoodNotes flashcards, now they are completely useless to me. :X

Increasing hightliter size
Currently, the maximum thickness of the highlighter is 7.7mm, but please increase it to 10mm.
Even if I draw a highlighter on the 15pt letter written on the A4 paper size, it is inconvenient because the font is not completely covered at the moment.1 vote -

Enable non shuffle and an undo button for smart flashcards
I like to build on my flashcards in chronological order and I wish there was an undo button because I have accidentally swiped right before I read it.

Tree Expansion
I work a lot with PDF-files (most DIN-A4 / Textbooks etc.)
It would be great to have a horizontal expansion option (if you´re on vertical scroll)
For an A4 vertical baseplate one could do a vertical expansion with a DIN-A page of another size. (also would not have to be DIN Normed could just be any page)It would be great for taking notes or adding additional information in textbooks.
If one would work through a text book it would be easy to just select all the expansion pages and copy them into a separate Notebook. Particularly for summaries.

Make it easier to work from a Laptop
Fix bugs to make easier to type and work in the document with a laptop. For me the document is ALWAYS bugging (even after restarting everything), this includes: jumping a lot when scrolling, typing is very delayed and start to lag, adding pictures or even just going into "picture settings" takes very long due to lagging. I really love working with goodnotes and with the IPad everything always works perfectly! However, bugs in the macOS app makes it very hard. Thank you!

Switch between edit and read-only mode with keystroke or pencil tap
Please add keyboard shortcut and pencil tap options to switch between edit and read-only. I use my iPad a lot with a keyboard or macro pad, and having a shortcut would make the experience so much better.

Make it compatible with MacOS 15.0.1
When I try to install Goodnotes 6 from the AppStore on MacOS 15.0.1, it fails with the message "Macos 13.3 or later is required". From my point of view, 15 is newer than 13. You may have to extend the compatibility to current versions of MacOS.

Fix the known issue of the same typed notes doesn’t look the same in Goodnotes on iPadOS and MacOS. I need this fixed as I type a lot on both my iPad and Mac, especially I use the bulleted list. Seems like a font rendering issue.
