Please add audio recording

Anything? I almost feel like I've wasted $16 on the Mac and iOS apps. I like Goodnotes more than Notability but I really need the recording feature and might very well switch and stop recommending it to friends since it's been almost 2 years.

Note taking would be taken to a new level if there exists a new feature to add audio and video clips

This software would be extremely useful if audio recording feature is available.

What the hell? Planned since May 10, 2016, and not yet started on January 16, 2018?? GoodNotes has been the best notetaking app for the iPad, but THE slowest, most inadequate support and development ever. Find some freaking investors and get moving. My hell. Fallen so far behind.

Given the other note apps with sound ability, GoodNotes will need this to stay competitive. I tried several apps before settling on GoodNotes. I see a strong need for this feature in the future. Please implement.

I would pay $20 if you added the feature of recording audio. I love the format of good notes, but without audio I am forced to support notability.

Coming from Notability it is a feature I miss a lot. PLEASE implement it in next update.

I was under the impression the audio recording was available. That's the main reason why I bought GoodNotes. I do various interviews and matching quotes with what I wrote and what was recording is essential. Please improve your app. I may have to go with a different program... A waste of $8.00!

Record Audio would be the best feature.

Maybe, with a player that, while you're listening to the audio, it points to the note you took in that instant

This is the ONE feature that is keeping me from going with GoodNotes rather than Notability. I'm trying to "move on" from the Livescribe pen and proprietary physical paper notebooks I've used for a decade now. I LOVE the ability to record a presentation while I take notes on it and when I review my notes putting the pen down in any part of the note jumps the audio playback to what was being said at the time I was writing that particular line. This sync functionality is HUGE. Livescribe can also convert my handwriting to text. That's the piece that Notability is missing. Whomever adds the missing functionality to replace Livescribe wins my business both in iOS and Mac OS X.

This would be an extremely useful feature that is already present in Notability. May prevent users from switching over to Notability.

Pleeeeeease! I love using GoodNotes, but because of the audio feature I use Notability in class... Please add audio recording!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...I am a college music teacher, and Good Notes is my in class white board. I really need the ability to add audio files.

Very important update

I want you to add audio recording (and maybe comments). But important is that you do it like notes writer+. I think that is the best way to do that.
