Audio recording: link to the page where it was recorded (and a few other things)
It’s hard to scroll though 200 pages of written notes, just to find where the audio was recorded. It would be amazing for us students, if there was an option to see what page/where the audio was recorded.
Please add an update to let us rename recorded audio files.
Change playback speed of the audio.
Add an option that automatically adds the date and time when a new page is created. (This could also help find audio recordings based on date and time of the recording, and the page)
When you draw and hold, it presets into a shape, please add an update, for arrows.
This one isn’t a must have, but it would be really fantastic if there was an update for smoother pen (ink) playback, when your playing back audio.
(Btw I’m an a-level student)

Bring back the old "Hold page" Presentation Mode interface
When using Presentation Mode with AirPlay set as "Mirror Presenter Page," GoodNotes used to hold the displayed tab when going back into the file interface. This was very effective for avoiding distraction for students when looking for a new file to display. It appears that in mid May with no explanation this feature was removed.
Now, when pressing the "back" button to browse files, the AirPlay display now shows the file interface, rather than holding the displayed page frozen.
This feature was critical to how I used GoodNotes in my classroom, and I hope it could be reverted, even is as a toggle feature in Settings.
I imagine others may be surprised when as "back to school" season approaches that this interface was changed. Please upvote if this was important to you as well.

Ruler feature
Please add a ruler it is really hard to do geometry exercises without one. Ok you can make the line straight but you can’t measure the distance especially when the line isn’t horizontal or vertical. It is also next to impossible to correctly calculate degrees. Thank you in advance.

Text tool in Windows Goodnotes.
I've been loving Goodnotes on my ipad, one of my favourites of all time. On my PC it's pretty useless for now tho. Knowing it's still in beta, I would like to put my request to prioritize developing writing tool in Windows version. Like on IOS devices you can click on text tool and start typing, I would love to see that feature available for desktop users. Anyways, love to see the app evolving.

Introduction of Colour options for ‘highlight’ button for selected texts in Goodnotes imported PDFs rather than the default yellow colour
The current version of GoodNotes (5.9.106) uses the default highlighter colour of yellow when highlighting selected text with the "highlight" button in PDFs imported to Goodnotes. It would be great if GoodNotes could provide us options of highlight colour then and there only (just like Apple default PDF reader), as it becomes tedious to select the text using lasso tool and then change the colour. Also, the pdf reading experience will be even worse for people not having an Apple pencil, as the highlight button is a far more accurate method of making crisp, accurate highlights than using finger or stylus.

Request for Enhanced Pen Formatting Features in GoodNotes Application
I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude for the GoodNotes application that you have developed. It has been tremendously helpful in my daily studies and work, providing an excellent and convenient platform for recording and organizing my thoughts.
While I am satisfied with many features of GoodNotes, there is a particular function that I believe could further enhance the application if incorporated. This is the ability to adjust the format of handwriting. I've noticed that we can already modify the color of our strokes, which is a very practical feature. However, if we could also adjust the thickness of our strokes, such as choosing a thicker pen to highlight important points, or a thinner pen for smaller text or annotations, it would significantly elevate the user experience.
This function would allow us to personalize our notes even better and give us more freedom in crafting them. I believe it would make GoodNotes more powerful and practical, potentially attracting more users to the application.
I look forward to your response and appreciate your efforts to continuously improve the application to meet user demands.

Thicker lines for Page Layout preview. (accessibility/keratoconus)
Because of my visual impairment (keratoconus) I am unable to differentiate between the Page Layout previews visually. Thin lines mix up to much with relatively bright background, every page preview looks the same (like a blank page).
Please add a accessibility option for more contrast and thicker lines. (only for preview)

Read-only mode: flip sides with two fingers
in Read-only mode I would like to have the option to flip sides with TWO fingers only. So the sides would not move when using only one finger (same function as in „edit mode“)

Feedback on “Study set”
When making a card it would be nice to have all functions available, such as draw, type and pictures.
One idea could be to have the classical top menu where the pen, eraser, hilighter, etc are found but also include a “Type” option that allows the user to type notes in the center of the card, just like it is in the current version. After that, the other tools can be used to add onto the text, such as hilighting or creating hand written annotations.
It would also be useful to add both pictures and text to the same card.

Add white paper with red margin
Right now yellow paper, as far as I know, is the only one that has a red margin. It's called legal paper. The other paper colours do not have this. Also make it so there two variants, a wide margin and a narrow margin.

Write in study set
It would be cool to be able to write down with the apple pencil in the notes even if it was written with the Text option (keyboard)

I would like it to be easier to change colors when splitting the screen.
If the screen is just split into two, the preset colors will change when changing the pen color. Therefore, I would like to see a unified design where the presets themselves can be changed, like the color selection screen on the full screen.

Please add the 3 different sizes of the pencil back in the button bar!
Since the last update the 3 sizes of the pencil are under one button. This takes extra time when taking my notes in class. Please incorporate the 3 different sizes back in the button bar!

Add .tex option to equations
I've seen your attempt to convert handwriting to equations and I love this idea. A word from a STEM student. Please leave an option to edit output manually using .tex. I will even pay additionally for such an option. Besides, it can improve your ML models, as most of the people that would use that, would probably be professionals which would make error detection far better.
