Add a group lines feature
Can you add a “merge” or “group” lines feature? It would make drawing shapes and ideas a whole lot easier. Similar to being able to group multiple lines or images on PowerPoint or google docs.

The ability to mark up your PDF more systematically
When reading a pdf, there are little points that you have to mention in addition. An ability to have a small window/ note beside the main pdf to mention them would be amazing. every time you go over that page, it would tell you that there you have x number of notes on this, or better, it would highlight those lines so you know that there is additional info with those
The other thing that could be added is the ability to connect boxes to each other like in liquid text

Small place (like window) inside PDF archive to write notes
My suggestion is the app could have a smal window inside a pdf to write notes about... Or import a notebook (small) on the archive, or, at least, add "post it" to attach the file (and be able to export them all at the end- not one by one, please).

Copy pages in thumbnail view
It’d be nice to be able to copy and paste pages from the thumbnail view instead of having to copy them, close the thumbnail view, click add page and paste them.

Login Code or possibility to lock special Projects
I absolutely like the App but i need to lock my notes because i am working with informations that are very sensitiv.

Links to Goodnotes pages that you could insert in other sites and apps.
For example within "Roam Research" or "Notion" it would be amazing if you could have a reference link to a jpeg preview of a particular page that would be updated as the page was updated. Then you could have a link that opened that page in Goodnotes. This way the image would be handy and could be updated when required. This would be an amazing way to extend out Goodnotes usefulness within a broader note-taking ecosystem. Sönke Ahrens book "How to take smart notes" advocates taking literature notes in pen an paper and then refining those notes into your Zettlekasten. Having easy access to your original notes and drawings and being able to update them as required would be a great way to marry text based and "Pen and Paper" processes and concept development techniques.Links to Goodnotes pages that you could insert in other sites and apps.

Add presentation mode like Microsoft powerpoint
Add presentation mode (like microsoft powerpoint) and still be able to annotate on the notes being presented. There is the ability to hide the tool bar, but when the tool bar is hidden, there is no possibility to continue to write on the notes. A way to hide the tool bar and still be able to annotate or use the laser pointer would be nice.

Taking too much space
I have a 1T of storage on my iPad mostly for Goodnotes, but on my phone I only have 64G. I need to be able to have only certain specific notebooks store themselves on my phone.

Geometric Tools
I use "GoodNotes 5.4" with iPad Pro 2018, I am totally satisfied, however the geometric tools should be improved. Ideal would be to add predefined geometric figures, triangle, rectangle, square, circle. I have a lot of difficulty creating perfect squares, there are no way to manage the fill separately from the contour line. It is not possible to draw dashed lines. The option adding layers in drawings would also be nice. Are you planning to add these features in the future?

Support for Stencils (Predefined Shapes)
Provide users the ability to quickly access resizable shapes or stencils when creating notes. This would greatly improve the speed and quality of my handwritten notes. Programs like Visio, OmniGraffle support stencil libraries of resizeable shapes. For example, a) Bullet Journaling uses specific shapes to denote specific meanings for captured text. To be able to drop an object on the page quickly at the start of writing a note would help speed thought capture. b) Predefined shapes would have individual handle/controls to allow the user to quickly take actions (copy, fill color, resize).

Math & Geometry Mode
Labeled ruler [pixels,cm,inches], Drafting Compass, Rotation without scaling , Scaling without rotation, Degree of rotation, Different types of dotted lines, line connector, intersection, LaTeX equation insertion.
Or at the very least, some of those... We engineers, physicists and mathematicians need it so bad...

Enable more pen sizes to be added to the tool bar
It would be nice to be able to add more pen sizes to the tool bar when needed and also can delete them if you don't need it. This makes it easier to change between sizes instead of changing the pen size each time when an extra one is needed.

The ability to move you file sytem of goodnotes over to a home NAS.
This way a new note would automaticly be stored on my NAS. Also I would not have to use ICloud to see my notes on other devices. This would make things a lot more orginised and it would also save storage space on my ipad! :)
