  1. Line smoothing

    Have an option to have a delay of the apple pencil but in return for smoother lines, like procreate. Many people use tempered glass protectors which forcibly results in wobbly curved lines especially when drawing diagrams. A toggle or button to turn on a smoothing feature for drawing diagrams would be great

  2. Ruler to help write a straight line

    Ruler or writing grid that is not really on a page after using the tool would be amazing. Because apples handwriting to text doesnt work with many languages!

  4. Text box problems

    It seems there has been a change in a text box function.
    The text box didn't move until I selected [T] or text function.
    But now, with a slight touch with my hand or finger, the text box is selected and moves around. This is very inconvenient because I usually take notes by typing. I have more than 150 pages written down and now whenever I try to review the materials with my apple pencil, it moves.

    In the video I intended to touch it with my hand because this happens suddenly. I hope you fix this problem.

  5. Slide build, as in PowerPoint/Keynote

    Allow the creation of slides which "build", like PowerPoint's "appear" animation, without making multiple pages.

    I am a university professor; my colleagues and I use GoodNotes heavily both for teaching and presenting our research at scientific conferences. One of the last advantages PowerPoint has over GoodNotes, for our use, is the slide animation feature, where objects on a single slide can be made to appear one at a time when the slides are presented.   7. Lots of Changes: More pens, pen streamline, more color favorites, no overlap highlighters, fill shape

    It would be very nice if there could be many features added like more pen options like marker, pencil, calligraphy, etc. it would also be nice if there could be a streamline feature so that when you write, the handwriting isn’t so “jerky” or “jittery.” It would also be nice if the highlighters didn’t overlap.

  9. Make good notes account

    A good notes account is a good idea as iCloud sync is not reliable. Making a username and password to have all folders and notebooks safe in a “goodnotes account” is the best way to ensure nothing is lost, and is an easy way to access these notes on other compatible devices (like iPad to MacBook).

  11. Hyperlinks to PDFs and other Notebooks

    I am a teacher and it would be so great, if i could add links to external pdfs or other files to my handwritten lesson plannings and mindmaps. I dont want to import files. I just want to write for example „next chapter. hand out prepared sheet [link to sheet].“ and click on it. So I can use the idea later without the trouble remembering which sheet/file I need. Know what i mean?
    AND: Hyperlinks within goodnotes. Links to other pages within one document and links to other goodnotes documents. That would be just: wow.

  12. ADHD help: Infinite Pages, Pen options, Text to Flashcards

    The option for infinite pages like Onenote would be amazing! I find being able to scribble out ideas for mind mapping really helps me with my ADHD.
    The ability to print it out later would be great as well, perhaps in the form of light outlines in the background on the template so we can visualise where all of the writting is going, or an auto suggestion?

    I love how CollaNote allows you to have multiple pen/highlighter options on the side of the page instead of the top bar. That would be reallly really helpful as well as I colour…

  13. Tool

    please add a feature to place the toolbar vertically on the Left/Right side of the screen. It's really useful as you don't have to move your hand way up or down to change tools or colours as well it allows larger space for writing.
    Similar features are available in notability and apple notebook 👇👇

  14. Delete PDF-outline

    It would be nice if you could delete parts of the pdf outline or the complete outline of an imported document. Currently, you are only able to edit your own outline.

  16. More levels title in outline

    Hello, I would like to give goodnotes a suggestion. Can we add a second or multi-level heading to the goodnotes outline, which will allow us to find the target page more efficiently. At present, it is really inconvenient to only achieve a first-level title, and it is hoped that it will be adopted.

  17. More then 3 colors in horizontal mode

    When you use GoodNotes5 in horizontal mode on Ipad, there is a lot of free space to the right of the color-options. It would be nice to fill this space with the option to have more then just 3 colors available. At least 5, would be nice.

  19. Document scan feature and crop feature before pasting image

    Have an option for us to scan document using iPad camera and cropping the image before pasting on our notes, and image pasted could be in PDF or image format. This will tremendously help in note taking
