snap to original size
when resizing handwriting or images, allowing the user to snap back to the original size would be helpful as some people may only want to rotate/change orientation of the object without changing size.

Collapsable text boxes
When working on an exercise sheet it is annoying to go back and forth between the sheet and the extra page you're writing on. It would be amazing if goodnotes had boxes that you can add right on the exercise sheet which can be collapsed to hide / expanded to edit so you have the (potentially long) solution you wrote right next to the exercise.

Hiding the bottom navigation bar while writing
I have currently switched to goodnotes from notability. The problem I am facing in Goodnotes is, while writing my palm touches the bottom navaigation bar (big bar to naavigate to home screen and recent apps) and the pen doesn't work while my palm touches the bar. It happens quite happen. And it is creating very disturbance for me.
In notability, while the pen is active and writing is on, the navigation bar stops rendering touch and it fades as pen is working on the screen.
So my request is, Please add the feature to auto hide the bottom navigation bar…6 votes -
smart review as a separate section
Allow goodnotes to auto create a folder where all the cards you need to smart review are allocated automatically each day so you don't need to dish through all your work to find them

Hallo,
ich nutze in der Schule sehr gerne Good notes auf dem IPad, aber Zuhause benutze ich nur Android Geräte würde aber dennoch gerne Good notes benutzen. Also konkret: Mein Wunsch ist Good notes für Android.

flat marker pen / streamline option
A flat marker pen like for flipcharts would be really great. For the highligter and the writing pen.
Also a streamline option (with the ability to set the strongness of the streamline) for the pens and highlighters would be also great to smooth out the handwriting. Just like you can set it in procreate.

Ability to edit audio
Sometimes I forget to stop the recording when a meeting takes a 15 mins break…I then end up with an extra long recording that could be shortened if we had the ability to edit. This ability would also be useful if there are sections of a meeting that we don’t need and want to bookmark the important sections.

text to speech
I am trying to use the build in text to speech reader with iPad OS however goodnotes is not compatible as it states "document content area" instead of the content in the document.
I would really appreciate having some text to speech functionality to make studying easier.

Possibility to change color scheme of notebook
It would be great to have some way of changing all the handwriting or highlighting of a certain color to another color. This way, I can experiment with different color schemes on notes that I have already taken, without having to manually select every occurrence of a certain color with the lasso tool and changing the color.

Essential Text Formatting
It would be extremely beneficial to adopt some formatting options for text, bulleted lists, and outlines similar to typical document editing programs, such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. While the app is currently great, the lack of an option to create an outline-style text box is a huge inconvenience. If you could make an outline with roman numerals and tab over for uniform subsections the app could save countless frustrating situations that students face having to use multiple document programs. Import a pdf from a link to Goodnotes
I read a lot of papers from Arxiv, which are of the form https://arxiv.org/pdf/XXXXXXXX.pdf
I would like to import a pdf to read directly from the link. Right now, I have to download the paper, store it in hard drive, import it in Goodnotes, then delete the file. This creates unnecessary steps and I have to delete the files later anyways. Would be great if I could import pdf directly from a link that links to a pdf.
In OneNote, I can directly import pdf to OneNote notebook using a Chrome extension.

add tags to notes
Putting notes in a folder is convenient, but it would also be very convenient to be able to sort or search based on user-defined tags. Apple notes or Gmail are good examples.

font
Font support please. I could not write Turkish letters in any way. (Letters work on windows, not on my tablet.) The delete key doesn't work either, I can't delete the text with the keyboard.
Hyperlink support is also available. I can't scroll sideways in stickers. Not all of the stickers you add by default are visible.1 vote -

Return to previous tool after pasting text
After coping text from and pdf and pasting into GoodNotes there should be an option to return to the previous tool, such as the pen, to go straight to adding notes or drawing. Much like the eraser can automatically return to the pen.

ORGANISATION SYSTEM
I think that GOODNOTES should change its organization system and make it more clear where the notes are just like notability
