Splitscreen
It would be great to be able to open a second Goodnotes window on Windows and then work with a split screen.

drag images/text between pages!!
On Android, if you want to insert something between your handwritten notes — for example, to add a new paragraph or image you can’t select and drag your notes to the next page like you can on the iPad version. This makes rearranging or adding content in the middle of a page quite difficult. It would be great if the Android version supported the same smooth page movement and selection features as the iPad app.

Allow Windows, web/android to have same festures as ios
Many people have apple, but many people also have windows/android because it is more affordable. You will increase your customers if it has the same features.
Goodnotes is not very useful without the same features. I am about to unsubscribe as I cannot even change the font. If one aim is to deliver beautiful notes but the font cant even change, we are stuck with limitations, but we paid for the opposite. Native App for Samsung/Android
Turn Goodnotes for Android to an full on native app, same as on the Ipad where it performs smooth, not like that cheap web version on Android, I'm really happy you guys moved your app also to Android but you can't say that web thing is good, we need a real app, a native app and I hope that's what you guys are working on.

Add fonts
Please add fonts. I had an iPad and I really enjoyed using goodnotes there, but now on the android version this feature is one of the things that I miss the most.
Having multiple fonts options really improves the ease of reading and the user experience of the app. Please do consider adding fonts for android too!52 votes -

Fix surface pen support
Up until this "overhaul update" the surface pen worked like it was supposed to. Using the pencil tip would use whatever tool you select and using the eraser side would temporary activate the eraser until you go back to using the pencil tip. Now when you use the eraser, it switches to the eraser tool but stays on it until you reselect the pen tool. This is extremely irritating and I do not want to have to switch platforms when it was literally just working a day ago.

moving pages and items
i think you should be able to move items and pages from one file to another

This is in our roadmap. In the meantime, we recommend using the Copy & Paste page feature as a workaround to have a similar result.
We understandable that this is not the most efficient solution, but please know we are working towards brining the "move" feature in our Android & Windows app.

Export PDF with hyperliks
A few days ago I tried to share a pdf document with hyperlinks to a friend who uses another platform for notes but none of them worked

text size
with the new Essential update (on Windows) i've lost the abillity to quickly type notes in class because i have to reset the size of the text every time i open a new text box. It's also quite annoying it keeps jumping to the lasso function after every text box i make.
I'd like to just keep being in the text function and have an overall font size for the entire document like i could before the update.
The rest of the updates are really good!

Add PDF imports / printouts to whiteboards
Please add a feature to import PDFs onto a whiteboard.
This would create the ability to write next to the pages (or slides), reorder the pages, etc.
A currently available workaround would be to convert the PDF to multiple images and add them individually below one another, which can get annoying pretty quickly.7 votes -

Moving documents between folders is a basic feature in any app for efficient sorting and management, the feature should have been in the basic build.

"Study sets" for android version
I was ready to purchase goodntes one time subscription plan for android, windows, web. But i got to knew that goodnotes is not providing basic plan like study sets even after buying the subscription. It's feeling like goodnotes isvery biased towards ios. Please add study sets feature for android version. Such that android users also can use goodnotes efficiently and aceour academics.

Lock images for touchscreen users on Windows
It would be incredibly helpful if Goodnotes for Windows included a feature to lock images on the page. This would prevent accidental touch interactions, especially when working on top of screenshots to solve problems or annotate content.

Text input with default color
It would be helpful to be able to choose a default color for text input so that we wouldn't have to change it after every entry. I have a student who uses Goodnotes on Windows 11, and this option isn't available, even though it exists on the iPad.

Make the Android version equivalent to the IOS version of GoodNotes

When selecting sketches, you could also flip them. It would be so useful for symmetrical stuff.
