Hide dock line while using Goodnotes.
The iPad dock line at the bottom interferes a lot with my hand while taking notes. I see that other apps like Procreate hide the dock line, and I need an extra gesture to get the line visible. This feature will be awesome on Goodnotes as I currently have a bad experience where an entire line of writing disappears sometimes because the iPad dock line was engaged by the bottom of my hand that was resting.

Things integration
It would be fantastic to have an 'export to Things' feature which would capture all to do items in a note.
Mindnode has a similar export feature exporting all mindmap nodes with a task directly to Things - with one click

Import action for Shortcuts app
I would like an Import Action for the Shortcuts app. One use I have for your app is markup for online teaching. Adding this action would allow me to create a shortcut that can automatically import the PDFs that I will use for that day's lesson into a student's folder.

A better way to organize so many accumulated folders, notebooks, pages
I've been using Goodnotes 5 for several years both for work and for personal affairs. It's my go-to for note-taking, info filing, etc. (My Notability has gone into the Cloud, maybe forever ..).
With frequent use over time, the problem is what I stated on the subject line. I know there's a way to "favorite" a page, a folder, etc. And yes, there is a SEARCH bar.
But there does not seem to be flexibility in customizing my "library" of materials, and the layout of the main page (currently only by date, name, type) to enable me to feel better…

DELETE PAGE button
To delete a page we need to pass through a long process of 5 clics or so.
That's not quick enough.
A single DELETE button on the page, next to ADD PAGE, would be a solution2 votes -
Ability to overlay a grid on top of a page (to write straight)
Being able to overlay a grid that we can toggle on and off and also move around the page would be helpful for writing straight on pdf documents.
At the moment, all we can do is add a new page with the grid template. But for writing in PDFs (a digital assignment where you handwrite answers to questions, for example), there’s no way to overlay a grid to aid in writing straight.
Procreate has a similar grid feature where you can toggle the grid on or off and you can draw on top of it.

Import a whole Folder Structure including Documents
I would like to import a Folder Structure, including Subfolders and Documents and find that structure represented in GN5 after the import. This would make GN5 a much easier to use Documents Management System if one has a lot of Documents before switching to GN5. Currently one has to create the whole Folder structure manually and import the Documents for each Subfolder separately.

Copy in GoodNotes 5 is very slowwwww.
When you're trying to copy anything on GoodNotes 5 by selecting on the lasso tool and select copy. It "always" take a few moments to load, even though the item size is very small. I don't understand why I need to wait for the program to load everytime. It's very annoying!
Ps. GoodNotes 4 and Notability do not have this problem. When I'm trying to copy, it processes instantaneously.2 votes -

Support for a word-processor like
I would like to be able to write with the magic keyboard as easily as with my pen, without interrupting the flow of work.

The eraser feature could get bigger or smaller depending on the posture of the Apple Pencil
Like the apple notes app, it would be cool if the eraser would get 'bigger' if you hold the pencil at an angle on the iPad and small when the pencil is straight up.

Change color when changing paper color
When already written a page on white paper in black pen for example and then switching to black paper I would like if you have to option to automatically change the color of everything written in black would change into white ( and also other way around)

Document-Specific Color Sets
A third section of the color picker with document-specific themes and colors would be nice. I have lots of documents with different color schemes that are made confusing by the current color picker setup.

When typing on lined paper, the text should automatically be aligned to the lines.
This would make things look much more neat.

Space - center
It would be nice to have something to let you know when something is space - centered, something like what appears when you are doing and instagram story. It is a little thing but I think it would make a big difference making digital notes more like paper notes where you can make sure something is centered.
Btw, I love the app! It has made taking digital notes a whole experience for me, thank you!

Default Text Space
It would be nice if there was a possibility to write on a page just like on a normal Word or Pages page, without having to insert a text field you have to adjust. I usually take notes with the iPad, but lately I started preferring taking notes with the MacBook. I have a lot of issues with the text fields we have at the moment. It is fine if I have to add some notes to a PDF file, but starting on a blank page is just a no for me.

Show "Open" Notebooks in the Documents View
When GoodNotes starts in the Documents Home view, I usually already have several notebooks open that I'm working in. In order to get to those notebooks (and the tabs displaying them) I have to go find and open a notebook that is already "open." From the Documents Home view, I would love to have a list of already open notebooks to go directly there upon app launch.

Select equation and get them solved
Good notes is the perfect app for maths practise as maths requires a lot of practise. It would be great if you could just select a set of equations and the app would automatically detect the variables and numbers and solve the equations. This would be of tremendous help

Hide mode
First chose the sentence or word range or something you want to hide to remember.
Second , changes the mode normal to hide mode, then the range you chose first would be disappear , and if you want to check the answer of the range , the double tap the range.

Please add romanian language as well, text recognition was the primary reason I have bought the app and I was very disappointed not to find Ro there. Thank you!
