Ability to keep lassoed image as overlay (Picture-in-Picture / PiP)
I love reading PDFs with GoodNotes on my tablet, because it is comfortable, and I can highlight and scribble notes.
Sometimes I'm reading a paper and it will keep referring to a figure on a previous page. I would love to temporarily lassoo that figure, and keep it as a floating window/overlay while I'm otherwise normally scrolling, reading, and marking the document.
Think of this as similar to the "Document split view" of some word processors, but much more flexible, and taking much less space away from the main document view.

Improve the anti-slip function of the notes
When in use, it often leads to accidental finger touches that trigger the long-press function for adding comments, thereby interrupting the writing process. This issue occurs very frequently and significantly affects the user experience. I hope a switch can be added to disable this function.

Scroll all the Bookmarked pages at once
Ok, so all my bookmarks in a document I want to be able to only see when I scroll the bookmarked pages when I press on it from that tab. For instance, in notability, all your bookmarks in that tab you can just scroll and see all of them. For classes that I have 100+ pages, and I have marked 30 pages of only the relevant material, is very inconvenient that I can only see them in the little square and to go to next book mark page I have to find thumbnail marked. I want to scroll all ofโฆ

I'm excited about the new scalable ruler. Angles to the horizontal can also be easily measured and drawn.BUT: Many colleagues, especially in mathematics, at my school and certainly at many other schools lack a scalable set square as a replacement or supplement. This could also be used to measure angles between two straight lines and not just to the horizontal.

Color/Stlye Options for Text Tool
I love to use the text tool but currently it is quite inconvenient to use. I would love to define my own text field styles and save them to reuse instead of always defining them again. Also it would be great to have a color picker in the style section so I donโt need to copy the HEX Codes from e.g. Pen tool where the color picker is present.

SEE SEVERAL DOCUMENTS SIMULTANEOUSLY (ANDROID, WEB, WINDOWS)
It seems basic, but on Android, the web, and iOS, we're not allowed to view two Good Notes files at once. This is quite important, because sometimes you use two PDFs to study at the same time, and if it doesn't let you open two documents on the same screen, it becomes very difficult to study from this app.

Paper parameters support customization (paper size supports customization)
At present, there are only fixed A4, A3 and other sizes, which cannot meet the needs of users. Flexible Page Positioning
When writing near the edges of the page (especially the bottom or side), it becomes uncomfortable because the palm starts sliding off the iPad. This makes writing less natural and more difficult. It would be very helpful to have the ability to slightly shift or reposition the visible
page area, so I can keep my hand comfortably on the screen while writing near the page margins.

[Tape] Erase Writing on Tape Without Erasing Underlying Content
The new tape feature is great, however I would like to be able to write over it to see if my answers match. I know it is possible to write on tape but itโs impossible to erase it without erasing notes underneath. Please make it so that I can erase text that is only above the tape.

Architecture. We use Goodnotes to make floor plan diagrams, building schematics, and other. Requesting stickers you would find on a floor plan. ie. appliances, furniture, plumbing, etc

Different saved font/size for each notebook
Not every notebook is the same, being able to save font styles and sizes per notebook would be infinitely easier and would encourage people to buy different notebooks

Pen to modify the color/thickness of existing pen strokes
Samsung notes has a nice feature, where I can select a pen-modifier and a color, and when drawing over existing text, this text will change it's color to the selected color, which was set for the pen-modifier. It's quite similar to the Lasso-tool, to edit the color, but the lasso tool can be quite painful to use. Especially, if you have a big formula and want the change the color of specific letters in it. Then you would currently need to select every single letter anywhere in the formula, and then change it's color. With this new tool, I wouldโฆ

Group and Ungroup items
Please give the option for users to group and ungroup items. "Send to back" and "Send to front" is not enough. For example, a user pastes an image with text. User highlights text on image. If the image is selected (even in error), the highlight is moved to back and no longer visible. I can select "Send to front" but it is no longer aligned with the text on the image.

Audio clips playing in the background
I wish that the Audio continues to play in the background even if you aren't on the app (and even if your ipad is locked). It can get pretty annoying when you are listening and you have to go to another tab. Goodnotes also restarts the audio clip so you then have to hunt for the place where you just were. Notability and other apps have this feature so I wish this was integrated.
