1. bad upgrade of GOODNOTES

   Hello, im a college student from India and I thought of getting Goodnotes 5 in few days as i have been collecting money to get the one time purchase of 999inr but unfortunately Goodnotes came up with its new update which is Goodnotes 6 and its asking 2999 that is 3k inr which is being really impossible for me to get the One time purchase. Im not from a priviledged family so for students like me, for whom its not easy to get the money are really dissapointed with the decision of the release of goodnotes 6 with a great hike in price from 999 to direct 3000

4. All Math symbols and equations incorporated in any font and drawing graphs

   a)Being able to write all Math symbols and equations in any font to maintain uniformity of notes. For example, being able to write a fraction in Bradley hand or noteworthy. Posted a sample here. (b) A tool to draw graphs would be great too.

5. Book shortcuts

   Shortcuts to get to books. For instance I want a book to be in two folders since its relevant to two folders. However I dont want different copies of the book in the two folders. I would rather have the book in one folder and a shortcut of it in the other.

6. Move tools around in tool ribbon

   Would be great if you could re-organize the toolbar or tool ribbon at the top of the page. I use the zoom window the most, but it's all the way on the right so I have to swipe on the toolbar with my finger to get to it. it would be great if I (or you) could put it right next to the pen tool.

8. WISH: Layers, Forms with style, more line-thickness in Menu

   Hi,
   I like Goodnotes very much, but I miss some features for my workflow as
   architect. I use Goodnotes for measurements on location.

   1. Layers
      I would like to have some layers for structuring my drawings

   2. Dottet / Dashed Lines
      … selfspeaking

   3. Forms with graphical options for lines/edges and surface
      It would be nice, if we could define line-style and surface-style
      e.g. surface: white (with options for transparency) and lines/edges
      as dashed line.

   4. More as 3 lines thicknesses in UI-Menu

10. Move Audio clips from one journal into another

    It’d be really nice if we had the option to move one Audio clip from one journal to another, I know we can import an existing .Goodnotes file with audio into a journal, but it would be nice to be able to just move the audio itself, and none of the pages.

    or copy and move that audio file from one journal to another. Sometimes when learning complex processes that relate to each other but are in separate classes, it’s nice to have the audio clip that references from another subject next to the second subject in the same journal even though you recorded it in a different journal.

11. Sync all button

    I have had multiple documents that needs to be synced but they generally take their own time before syncing. If there can be a button to force sync all files to cloud that would save me so much headache and time.

12. favourite pen style set, with both color and link thinkness included

    currently it allows the selection of line color and line thickness, but they are isolated from each other, if they can be combined as a "compound style", and have multiple of them, it will be perfect.

    e.g. compound style 1 = "red line + thickness in 1mm"
    compound style 2 = "green line + thickness in 2mm"

    if i can select directly between compound style 1 & 2, instead of keep selecting between red / green AND 1mm/2mm, it will be very very handy.

13. custom template on studyset / customize studyset handrawing background color ( or even with a image )

    1. allow custom template on studyset, just like other notes ;
    2. allow customization on studyset background, especially in hand-drawn / freehand mode, currently it must be white and it's pretty annoying ;

14. Be able to add photos to text on flashcards.

    I tried the text feature on the flashcard part of goodnotes and i like the way it looks. but it's really annoying that I can't add photos to it with text. Only if I write out my cards am i able to add photos.

16. Proper text highlight with pencil support

    Currently there are two ways to highlight text from an imported PDF: using the highlight tool and highlighting freely the document with the aid of a pencil, or manually selecting the text and clicking on the highlight option.
    The latter method is more flexible for tasks such as studying on a textbook, as the highlight adjusts in size with the underlying text. Unfortunately, it is a very time consuming approach as it requires to first select the text, wait for a menu popup and then select highlight.
    It would be convenient to have an alternate behavior for the highlight tool, such that it only acts on text, reproducing the output of select+highlight, while still being used with a pencil.

17. Can you support universal sync among different platforms and OS?

    I use many different types of devices such as Mac computer, Windows PC, iPad, Android. I know this seems weird but I do use them daily. And I need an app/program other than One Note from Microsoft. If my notes can be synchronized and loaded from all the different types of devices I would appreciate so much. Since there are not many that supports Mac/Windows/iOS/iPad OS/Android and you are one of the few, I really hope to see you supporting this feature. Thank you.

18. I write my notes in 3 Languages: English, Français and German. To avoid that Goodnotes corrects all correct text because of language issues

19. Allow stickers to be moved and rotated *together* with the handwriting on it

    When I write on a sticker, like a memo or post-it note, my handwriting doesn't stay on the sticker when I move the sticker. The sticker separate from the handwriting when I move the sticker. Notability does this beautifully. In Notability, when I write on a sticker, and when I move the sticker, the sticker moved together with my handwriting on it. When I rotate the sticker, my handwriting rotate together with the sticker. In Goodnotes, I have to lasso both my handwriting and sticker in order to move it, which is cumbersome and not natural (i.e. not how I move a post-it note in the real world). And I cannot rotate the sticker and my handwriting together using the lasso method. E.g. of why I would want to rotate a sticker is with an arrow-shaped post-it note with my handwritten "Sign here" or "Read this" on it. I want to rotate the arrow post-it note to point to a particular place on my note like in real-life. So I would appreciate it very much if you could allow a sticker to be moved or rotated together with the handwritten message on it. Have a look at how Notability do it to have an idea. Thank you!
