  1. Toolbar Problems When Using The Split View

    It is impossible to take the pen, the eraser or the highlighter without tapping on the toolbar when using the “slide over” (third option in the split view options). It becomes very hard and troublesome when I want to take the pen again after using the lasso tool for a very short time. Because I have to tap the toolbar to take the pen or the eraser again so I have to close the sliding screen and open it again after I take the tool I want. Moreover, closing and opening the sliding screen causes a cancellation of the zoom…

  2. Improve text overflow feature

    Please improve the overflow text feature. Right now, if I add text to an existing page and it reaches the end, I have to add a new page for overflow each time. It should be possible to overflow to the next existing page automatically. Also, I do not see the overflow text until I add a page, so what I have written can easily be lost if I am not paying close attention. I have to backspace until the writing reappears, or add a new page- but not seeing a paragraph I have written is very stressful. It also breaks…

  4. Changing line thickness without resizing

    Please add the option to change the line thickness of your notes (with lasso tool) without resizing everything.

    This would be very useful when realizing that your notes would look better if the linewidth was smaller/larger after you already took a lot of notes

  5. Enable flashcards and sharing

    This is what I primarily use the app for, this version is really disappointing for this reason, making students in my study group all purchase this makes me using his app useless, I’m going to look for another one with shareable flashcards features, it’s too bad I really liked this one

  6. Option to disable Smart Learn for a given Study Set

    Having an option to disable the smart learn mode for a given study set feels essential. As of now, a study set that I used Smart Learn mode on one time keeps notifying me in the menu forever, while I don’t need to learn it anymore.

    This also risks keeping me from finding the sets that I need to study now, in the midst of all past study sets.

    I don’t want to delete them, I just wish I could disable the smart learn mode/notifications for specific sets.

  8. A favorite list in the marketplace

    Add a heart ❤️ icon on each item in the marketplace so that I can return to it and check if there is a discount or if some day I really need the item I will find it more easier because I will already have save it

  9. Highlight

    I would like the highlight tool to work as a copy select tool works. When moving the pen along page we will be able to highlight. As well as implementing tapping to remove highlights.

    Instead of having to lift pen to move down a row to highlight you just glide over the selected text you would like to highlight.

    It would be much more efficient this way. I noticed this inconvenience when switching to apples book reading tool and highlighting in there was much more seamless. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did.

  10. Bullet list / Sub-bullet points

    Allow indentation with bullet points on the "Bulleted List" on the new text feature on Goodnotes 5, not just on the first line of bullet points. Similar to how you would take notes using bullet points in Microsoft, Google, or Pages. PLEASE!

  11. Share notes in only view mode (no editing)

    I would like to share notes with others (expecially non-goodnote users) in view only mode. As a result, I would not be worried about unwanted modifications of my notes, while being able to share information.

    Do add other payment options. It is not possible for all students to have access to credit cards. Add options like UPI, Net banking, Auto payment enablement (Like the one Netflix uses) etc.

  13. Increase the size of the thumbnails on iPad

    Hello Goodnotes,

    I simply requesting for the size of the thumbnails to be increased when viewing a document in thumbnail view. There is currently space in between the thumbnails to enlarge them as well. They are so small it is hard to get an idea of what is written on the pages.

    It would make it so much easier to skim through large documents, if you could see the documents better in a more zoomed in view. Please see photo.

  14. Toggle features on and off

    The ability to turn off the scratch to erase feature. I write in cursive and having my words erased so often made me downgrade back to 5. I also have an issue with my cursive being converted to lines or shapes if I pause mid word

  15. Make Marketplace searchable

    The marketplace available in Goodnotes 6 doesn’t appear to be searchable, so instead of scrolling dozens of planners it would be good to search “travel” for example and find content that matches.

  18. support for separate colour paletes

    Adding s function that allows users to create palettes of colours instead of all the pen colours to be in one single menu .This would be really useful in notetaking since it would allow for easier colour coding between different notebooks.
