Allow eraser to erase parts of pasted images
It would be awesome if eraser could erase parts of images i paste in. It would make edits to a scan or a screenshot so much easier. Currently i have to lasso a blank part of the page, take a screenshot of that empty blob and paste it over where i want to erase. Allowing the eraser to actually edit the pasted image would be really slick.

Image Gallery tool similar to Key Notes
It’s where we can choose photos and group them all in one gallery tool. We are then able to just swipe or click the right button to view the photos.
I need this tool because I use good notes for daily journaling and sometimes I have too many photos in one day and it gets too messy if I upload them all. Thank you.

Make macOS app native and better
It feels like the macOS app is unfinished and has performance problem, like lag, slow, sync problems etc. This makes the user experience of macOS app very bad.

Searching a keyword through the whole file
There are a lot of lecture slide that save in one folder. I know that there is a search function (magnifier symbol) but it can only searching at that particular lecture slide. So please make it can search through the whole folder. PLEASE VOTE THIS SUUGESTION. THANKS. I believed this is very useful to all of us.

Mac app is slow for large PDFs
Mac app is slow for large PDFs, as a person who studies a pdf on the MacBook and takes notes on the iPad, the Mac app is quite slow to navigate through the PDF. I'm running the latest app on the MacBook Pro 16

Create and save and share my own penstyle. Like Procreate or PS. Surely No need to be too powerful like procreate. But More efficient shortcut to different style preset is neccesary.

import excalidraw library as elements
excalidraw is a popular tool and has that same vibe of hand drawn coolness. They also seem to have a large set of libraries. It'll be a hug productivity boost if one can import their library

I`ve used Goodnotes 4 for 7 years from 2014 and I was really satisfied with your app before I knew released new version in App Store in the middle of 2020 and finished free upgrade service when I knew it.Unforturnately, I missed free upgrade service you provided to Goodnote4 user. But I sometimes thought it is really I am unluckly because I missed free upgrade service or Goodnote team is very unkind and unfriendly compared your other competitor like Flexcil.

Setting to set Max Zoom level (when using pencil).
My issue is:
When taking notes, sometimes I accidentally zoom in too much and my writing is too small for a normal document.My suggested fix:
A setting to set the max zoom. That way, for my standard use case, I can set max zoom and have that be my comfortable writing size for the page size.
Might be helpful to have on a document basis rather than a global setting.Thanks!

Store Temporary Photos
GoodNotes should store all temporary photos that are pending insertion into a document! My elderly father wanted to take a picture of a client and annotate it in GoodNotes later, using the camera feature within GoodNotes. Unfortunately, the temporary photo was not stored because he did not tap on “Use Photo” in the lower right corner. He assumed that the photo would be stored in his photo library when taken, just like it is as soon as you take a picture with the default Camera app on iOS. Emptying Trash
I’m having trouble emptying the trash. When ever I try to empty it, the option goes away but the trash doesnt empty. I tried deleting them individually but that doesnt work either. Refreshing the app doesn’t help either. It’s making the app really glitchy for me with all the extra storage. Please help! :)

In Presenter Mode: Custom background color or transparent background when zooming out
For my lectures, I use "Mirror Presenter Page" to mirror my writing on a pdf file to an AirServer window on my Mac. The AirServer window is then overlayed in OBS with a video of myself (greenscreen). When I zoom out, Good Notes applies a black color to fill the background. I would like to suggest to be able to choose the background color (either black/white or color palette) and/or use a transparent background.

flash cards improvement
Please improve the flash card tool. It would be very useful if there were more options to it.
Please add an option to see a seperate stack of flash cards you got wrong. Or any other way to review those flash cards seperated from the ones you got right.

improve typing on good notes
I would like to use good notes as my only application for writing, taking notes and creating documents. It is not possible because the typing option does not run as smoothly as "pages" or "microsoft word". Please consider making good notes an application that can be used for creating and editing documents with simple typing.

Color+STROKE change for lasso tool.
Lasso tool can also change stroke/tool of the already written note. We should be able to change it from Fountain Pen to Brushed one. And, lasso tool can be used in fine shape form like we can in Notability

无论是ipad还是mac，使用触控板双指上下滑动页面时，无法停顿（打断滑动），其他app在页面滑动过程中若再次将双指放到触控板上，滑动便会被打断。goodnote无法做到这点，这导致需要大量翻页时十分难受。

Math paper templates
It would be good to have some more versatile, mathematical or scientific paper templates. For example, a split page (similar to a Cornell note-taking), where one side is ruled and the other is graph paper. Perhaps, a graph section on the top half, and a ruled or blank section underneath where one could add notes or symbolic work. Also, paired with this suggestion is the echo to add math conversion tools, converting to a display equation with LaTeX.
