Add presentation mode like Microsoft powerpoint
Add presentation mode (like microsoft powerpoint) and still be able to annotate on the notes being presented. There is the ability to hide the tool bar, but when the tool bar is hidden, there is no possibility to continue to write on the notes. A way to hide the tool bar and still be able to annotate or use the laser pointer would be nice.

More than 3 color options in the tool bar
I use more than 3 colors in my notes, so I constant have to switch which ones are selected in the tool bar. I’d like to have at least 5 different colors available in the tool bar without having to click one and change it, then change it back once I need another color.

Make the grid magnetic to draw lines from corners of the grid.
I would love to have the option to have a "magnetic grid" used in combination with a geometric form tool to draw some lines that start exactly at the corners of the grid.

Add a button for writing mode
I usually use GoodNote to take note from lecture and 80% of the time, the palm rejection did a good job. However, once in a while, the palm rejection will fail and it accepts the input from my resting fingers, which cause the unwanted zoom-in/zoom-out or movement of the page. This situation is very annoying because I have to adjust back to the original size and position of the page and keep writing. Sometimes this happen when I am still taking the note, and it really stop me from focusing the content on the lecture. I personally don't like my…

Convert a photo of physical notes and hand-drawn diagrams into editable vector
I was blown away when I learned about a feature in the app Inkflow. The name of the feature that I'm referring to is Inkport. Check out this video to see why I think this feature would be incredibly useful in GoodNotes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAd23h9RQeU
This feature would be amazing for note-taking and getting assignments done.
Imagine that students are given a handout in class with questions that they need to answer. However, the problem is that it's impossible to write the answers next to the question because there is very little space given in the handout. This obligates students to either…20 votes -
Patch Tool
I like how the patch tool works in Photoshop, and I think it would be useful in GoodNotes too. I would use it to edit diagrams and remove parts, such as labels, that I do not want. Here is an example of how the patch tool works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II4lfxoNrJ8
Even though the patch tool is commonly used to edit photographs, it can definitely be used for editing illustrations too. I have used the patch tool in Photoshop before, and I started seeing the need for it again as I was trying to prepare diagrams for GoodNotes. I feel that it would…2 votes -
Using iCloudDrive only for Collaborate
Hey,
It would be awesome if one could use the collaborate feature without backing up all my other files to iCloud Drive.
My iCloud is way to small for all my files and they are already backed up to OneDrive.

Virtual desktops for documents
I have a professional app that allow user to create a virtual desktop on whatever thematic. Inside you can bookmark all the file, page, folder related to that thematic. I find that very pratical.
It would be great that Goodnotes develops this. For example we could create a desktop for "Gardening" where I could link all the documents already in Goodnotes, relating to gardening, it could be a whole file, a folder, a bookmark.
Then I could create a desktop, "Current homework" with all my current work, like a temporary desktop.
It's very interesting because you don't have anymore to…1 vote -
Maintain text size when converting handwriting to text.
When converting handwriting to text, it maintains what is written on each line but not the text size. It would be a great feature if the text size was maintain.

Invisible ink on presenter screen
Have a pen or an ink that only shows on the iPad, and not on a presentation screen. This would allow presenters to annotate their presentations without the audience seeing the notes. It would be useful for fill in the blanks, presenter notes and comments. A presenter could even "pre-draw" a picture, which could then be redrawn live.

disable spelling correction für all slides of a document
Hi there!
I use Good Notes for taking notes in university. And I have to wrote down often medical words that good notes do not recognize. In addition I often want to typ in a language that does not exist in good notes.
So Good Notes to allways automaticly correct my words (which are correct, but good Notes think they are wrong because it ist not in his dictonary). I know that I can disable the spelling correction. However, that work only for 1 text-box... If I go to the next slide/page, I have to disable the spelling correction each…4 votes -

Auto advance shortcut
Currently enabling or disabling auto advance requires 4 'clicks': 1. the 'three dots' menu button 2. document editing 3. enabling/disabling auto advance 4. closing the menu window.
As someone who frequently switches between marking up documents (where I don't use auto advance) and my own notebooks (where I do use auto advance), it can be annoying to have to go through this process tens of times per day.
It would be nice if there was a shortcut, or if one could optionally pin the auto advance option to the toolbar.
Cheers!
