1. proper complex file handling

   I am a heavy goodnotes user, I have noticed that when my notes become complex the app starts to lag/bug/stutter to the point where my handwriting changes (as if the app is drawing straight lines between points that are noticeably further away from each other). By complex files, I don't mean long documents but rather supercharged single-page documents (for cheat sheets for example)

2. Change colour documents to greyscale

   I am required to download maps and images into Goodnotes for work and highlight and markup on these files.
   I find it extremely difficult to spot colours on an already colourful document. Is there a a tool or setting that could allow the user to change files from colour to greyscale?
   There are a few long ways to do this with desktops but I only carry an iPad with me. So unless I have a premium Adobe subscription I am stuck.
   I understand my issue may be unique but I’m sure the ‘convert to greyscale’ tool could come in handy for many users.

3. [New languages] Swedish

   Can you please have Swedish as a language option? I would be very useful since we have the letters å, ä, ö that doesn’t exist in English:)

4. Scale from Corner

   Be able to scale a picture from corner, rather than centre. So, top left corner stays put, and dragging the bottom right corner of a picture scales the picture proportionately (and the top left corner stays fixed)

5. Scale from Corner

   Be able to scale a picture by dragging from the corner rather than center-scaling. So, Top Left corner stays fixed, dragging the bottom right corner enlarges the picture proportionately. Perhaps by pressing the Option button while dragging the corner?

6. Better Keyboard Functionality

   I'm using Windows 11on the Surface Pro 8 with keybaord and pen. I want to make daily planner pages. I find that the keyboard integration is pretty much nil. I can't use my arrow keys to move text boxes up or down, I have to use the pen. Going back and forth when you're creating something is a pain. When my keyboard is attached I would like the ability to tap anywhere and type, it's a pain in the arse to have to create a textbox first; in fact having to create a text box at all seems archaic to me. One should be able to click with a mouse/mouse pad, or tap with a pen and then type or write. Instead of having to tap on the radio button to go to a page, add arrows at the top of the page that one is working on. What I'd really like is a vey simple daily planner with tabs so that all I have to do is write my entries in. I would like a notes section, monthly calendar section with a section to write in daily appointments. I would also like to be able to add in note pages as I need them. This is what I'm trying to make in Goodnotes. I've been unable to find a nice simple digital planner online. Could you guys just make some daily planner pages so I can do that? Or just fix the keyboard functionality.

7. Graph Overlay

   It would be helpful to have a graph overlay where you can add a transparent graph to help you write in a straight line. It can also be used to adjust your notes the way that you want to help with keeping items straight or aligned.

8. Export of some pages to PDF from the notebook

   Hi, I have GOODNOTES on my Microsoft surface studio computer and I use it regularly.
   The problem: I need to export some pages in the notebook to a PDF file and I don't have such an option. That's why I have to export all the pages and after that delete the pages I don't need with external software.
   (I know such an option has changed on tablets and phones - but it would be very helpful to have such an option on the computer as well).

9. add „Highlighted“ to the contents overview

   There are quiet a lot of feature request regarding being able to export all Highligthed parts of an PDF. However for a start i think it would be beneficial if, you could filter the (miniature) pages in the content view to show Pages that has been Highligthed or written a note on.
   Kind off like the Bookedmarked tab shows only bookedmarked pages. For start it probably would be enough to show the entire page a Highligthed has been made. In a Perfect world (probably quiet challenging to archive) this could maybe work like the preview when searching for something in a PDF, so that only a small part (wich the marked) part is shown

   I also would be a fan of a way to X-Ray or summarize marked bits like suggested here https://feedback.goodnotes.com/forums/191274-customer-suggestions-for-goodnotes/suggestions/19640692-a-search-engine-to-find-highlighted-text-on-ipad the idea is quiet old and got a lot of upvotes but hasn’t been addressed yet as far as I`m concerned.

10. EPUB support

    As a student, I often have my uni books in epub format and it would be great to have the possibility to modify/annotate them as we alreadu can with pdf. I know you can convert EPUb to PDF easily, but it doesnt always come out right, so EPUB support would be easier and more comfortable

13. Bug - Fix the blank space next to the color palette on toolbar

    There is a blank space next to the color palette, so the palette isn’t showing as many colors as it could. The palette isn’t taking up all the space to the edge of the screen (see the screenshot).
    The size of the blank space seems to depend on how many tools you have on your toolbar but it is present even without editing the default tool order.
    I tried reinstalling the app - it was fixed for about a day and then the issue appeared again.
    I’m facing this issue on my 11” iPad Pro 2022, but also have seen it on my friend’s 10,9” Air 2022 and some other iPads in my class.

15. better way to organize elements

    Can the edit feature for the elements have the same mechanics as when we move notepads/files?

    Currently we get a teeny-tiny screen, and have to drag stickers individually, and click "done". This makes it really frustrating and time consuming to organize stickers, which sometimes get all jumbled on download.

    It would be better to a) be able to select multiple elements and b) drag them to other collections if we want, c) on a larger or full-sized window, and d) to not have all the work undone when we click out of that window. Basically the same mechanics as the normal files.

18. Please let one-time purchasers switch to subscription plans!

    I LOVE this app. I use it daily and for so many things! It’s versatile, convenient, affordable, all the good things. One problem: I did the one-time purchase in 2023. Now, in 2025, I’d love to switch to the annual subscription so that I can access it on my PC as my projects have expanded. And I can’t. I’d have to delete my account, lose all of my stuff, and then re-enroll. Or find a way to back up all of my stuff (as PDFs, losing hyperlinks and all of the Goodnotes-ey features on them), delete my account, and re-enroll. I really hope that they consider account-type-switching capability, because I know I’m not the only one with this problem.

19. Simple size and colour editing with lasso tool

    I would love to be able to simply resize the chosen object by simply using lasso. Like in notability. Also a perfect feature is the colour or style editing. DEMO IN THE ATTACHED VIDEO
