Additional Space for Notes Next to PDFs
I’m a philosophy student in Germany, and I use GoodNotes to read and annotate PDFs, scrolling vertically through the pages. One feature I’ve always wished for is the ability to add extra space to the left and/or right side of the page.
This would be a real game-changer for me. Currently, I often have to squeeze small notes into the margins of my documents, which feels cluttered. Having expandable note-taking areas next to the PDF would make annotating much more comfortable.

Universal language
An option should be made where the system recognises the letters separately and makes up the words from that not from the database of supported languages.

사각 형광펜 기능 추가를 원합니다.
대학교 4년 동안 나는 굿노트를 사용해 왔고 주변에서 굿노트를 사용하지 않는 사람을 찾는 게 더 어려울 만큼 다들 굿노트를 사용하고 있습니다. 많은 글을 읽고 문서를 봐야하는 데 그만큼 형광펜도 많이 사용해야 합니다. 실제 형광펜은 둥근 것보다 사각형이 대부분이지만 굿노트에는 사각 형광펜이 없습니다. 굿노트에서도 사각형의 형광펜이 있다면 가독성도 높아지고 눈에 띄어서 좋을 것 같습니다. 현재 한국에서 사각의 형광펜을 원하는 사람이 굉장히 많은데 그 기능이 생기지 않아서 답답한 마음에 요청을 하게되었고, 아무도 사각 형광펜에 대해 건의 하지 않았다는 것에 놀랍습니다. 꼭 이 기능을 추가해주십시오.

Flow charts
Ability to create flow charts by linking lines to objects that would adjust as the shapes are moved, AND the ability to change the tip of the line into various arrow heads.

math conversion tool preview improve constrast
In dark mode, the contrast when clicking on the math preview is poor. The font color should be white, not dark.

AI Notes to study set
Online there are tremendously useful AI services that convert a PDF to a set of study cards. It would be amazing to be able to have AI convert notes to study sets automatically.

Create new notebook/folder when moving pages
There should be an option to create a new folder or notebook when trying to move a page from an existing notebook. Now you have first of all to create the new notebook and then come back to the existing notebook and then to move the page.

Include LaTeX capabilities in Goodnotes for MacOS
Seeing that Goodnotes 6 has the capability to interpret/edit LaTeX obtained from handwriting in iOS, it should be possible to create new equations with the keyboard from a macOS.

Adding a Highlighter to Flashcards
Being able to underline/highlight key words (or change colour of text) when making flashcards (in the text section) to make it easier to study. As someone with dyslexia this would be really useful as well as being able to choose what colour i want to highlight so i can see things better!

GoodNotes 6 (GN6) Zoom Window Tools
In GoodNotes 4, the Zoom Window had convenient controls at the top, allowing users to easily change colors, erase, and undo without needing to navigate to the top menu. This feature was incredibly useful, and its removal in subsequent versions has been puzzling.
Please consider reintroducing these controls in GN6, as they significantly enhance the app’s usability. Many users have requested this functionality since GN5, so it would be highly appreciated.

Back to editing from file/home screen (iPad)
When I have a document open and I want to open another, I hit the home icon in the top left and it pulls up the file organizer. AFAIK there is no way to leave this file menu to re-enter the editing screen without opening a document. As in, remembering which files were already open to “open them again” or just open any file and then close its tab once I am back in the editing screen. Suggest organizing the interface in a way that other than files
I think that the file method is time-consuming, especially if the material is divided into more than one part, I suggest a method such as a divide.

Appear or disappear informations by animations (like PowerPoint)
It would be practical to be able to let certain slides or information (text, pictures, ...) appear or disappear by various animations!
