Implement add on using Photomath
I love using GoodNotes for taking notes in school and I think it would be a good feature to add the possibility of scanning a formula using the AI from PhotoMath to solve a equation and give the answer.

Proposal for New Text Formatting and Management Features
Dear team,
I would like to suggest an enhancement to your tool’s functionality that I believe would significantly enrich the user experience. Would it be possible to implement a feature that allows users to highlight or select a specific text and, with a simple click, set it as the title of a summary? Additionally, it would be extremely helpful if, upon performing this action, the user could view a list of titles already created for summaries, thus avoiding duplications.

Option to turn off stroke recording while recording audio
Please consider adding the option to just record audio without stroke links. Just an on/off toggle option for this would suffice.
I personally never rely on this feature. Also these days Goodnotes has been crashing a lot during audio recording (even though I’m using iPad Pro M2 which should be pretty competent), and when I reopen the app the recording is lost, which is quite an inconvenience. So I wonder if turning it off would help prevent the app from crashing, and maybe reduce file size as a bonus.

Having a highlighter feature when you are typing notes without having to use an Apple Pencil. Make easier to keep track / organizing notes.

Make it so we can we can mark up the margins in page view
It would be SUPER handy to be able to write in the margins of page view for longer documents so you can scroll down many pages make notes about certain sections. Not just for long PDFs, but even journals or anything that results in length in which you want to make notes about certain key high lights of your document

Add option to cancel out any fast movement, e.g. when in a train
I often find myself using GoodNotes in the train and often the tracks aren’t straight but quite curvy which makes it sometimes impossible to write.
I would like the option to cancel out any fast movements when writing or drawing, maybe using AI.
This would mean, any “ugly” lines that were caused by shaking of the arm from sitting in a car, train, bus or rollercoaster would be smoothed out.

Create an account to each user and all of the notes/files automatically save into that account.
After downloading the app for the first time, you’ll be asked to create an account. In that account, all of your notes it’s gonna be safe and secure. You can delete the app or download in another device and all you have to do is log in into your account. I personally think it’s more reasonable to add this feature only to those who use the paid version of the app. With your account you can, not only access your notes anytime anywhere, but also feel safe about not losing your notes.

List view for Goodnotes 6
Goodnotes 5 had list view for files and folders but Goodnotes 6 does not. I am in school and need to label my files with class information for quick reference but this makes the file names too long to be able to see the entire thing. Please add this feature for ease of use.

Notebooks management window in Mac
EDITED: Keeping this on here, just in case anyone else has the issue...I figured it out :)
On my iPad, I can single finger scroll left/right and go through all of the cover/page options. I just realized that I can two finger scroll on my Air, mimicking the action from the iPad. Sorry about that!
Not sure if this is an idea or just a question but I am to finding a solution. I use a MacBook Air (2020 on Sonoma) and iPad 9 (on OS 17.4.1). These are my life connections and I have all things syncing with iCloud…

Virtual Fold to keep a column of text visible while writing
Hi,
I use GoodNotes to complete two pages of tasks I have to grade during instruction. It would be great to have a virtual fold function so the labels were next to the grade column I'm working on.

Kill default blue font of folder titles/in the app in general
We need more contrast please (white font on black/black font on white background) = EASIER TO READ
A baby blue colour on a white (or black, if you‘re in dark mode) backdrop is STRAINING for the eyes.
At least give us the option to choose the system default blue colour or white/black please!It‘s these small details that make the customer experience better/smoother.

A way to use GoodNotes as a citation manegement for academic research etc
In academia we usually have to read a lot and with that comes a necessity to organize and keep track of citations, I know that there are aps for that but I like the idea of using goodnotes highlight when reading, as it keeps the document clearer

Study set--scanning documents and changing image proportions
In the current version, when importing images into Study Sets, the photos taken are directly reflected on the cards, and the image ratio is fixed at 1:1.
In order to create cards that are effective for study, we need to be able to beautifully turn a photo taken into a card and also be able to import images in the ratio of our choice (sometimes even the answers to questions are imported onto the surface!) .

After we erased the center of line, it looks like a different line. But it move sync when we select and move a line. It's very troublesome when I want to edit a simple picture, because I have to delate all of the connected line only when I want edit part of the line.1 vote
