Import original image size
Currently when you import or crop an image, it seemingly randomly resizes depending on how much you’re zoomed in etc. If you crop part of a full sized page, it will show the cropped part full sized after the cropping too. This is a very tedious process.
I create a lot of sticker sheets with labels, icons etc. If I export them as separate files from my graphic software, I’d like it to be imported in goodnotes at the exact dimensions I exported them at. Mainly since my dimensions are based on the document I am working with, so a…

Switch black and white text for exporting

Tool shortcuts in the zoom box.
In GoodNotes 4, 3 colors and the eraser tool were easily accessible at the top of the zoom window. It would be great to have this back. It is a bit inconvenient to reach to the top of the ipad to erase, change tool or undo.

Please add back to reading button from browsing files mode. I don’t want to open any file to go back to reading and close it.

Add the ability to lasso text, click on the lassoed word/section and add a reminder or an event to the calendar.

make the zoom window size adjustable
It looks like you are getting a lot of requests that fall into this category. I write small. The zoom window is magnified just too much for me, so even though my writing looks much better if I use this function it is tiny in the document. Writing in huge big strokes in the zoom window means it takes me longer to write. If I could reduce the zoom window height by 20%, this would help a ton.

Templates
More templates and paper types would be good. I would love to notes templates with ability to type in the date, a To Do list would be also great. It would also be good to be able to change the colour or style of your notebook once it has been created

Open one document in more than one tab
I often need to copy things between multiple pages in the same document. For this reason it would be nice to have the same document in more than one tab with different pages.

The search funktion is now located on one Item (Pdf document, Notbook).

an integrated toolbar in a zoom writing mode
Using a zoom box most of the time, I often found that both the tool bars---background toolbar and the zoom box toolbar--- can stay together, so the stylus doesn't have to jump up and down for toolbar options.
hope to suggest that the entire background toolbar gets lower -so becomes a zoombox tool bar--as the zoombox opens.

bring back continuous text box and allowing use to set to specifc font color
New update removed ability to stay on typing function and will revert back to Lasso. This is so annoying. Also bring back allowing the user to choose their default font color. My school uses dark colored ppts and when typing the auto selected black font makes it impossible to keep up with note taking as i constantly must highlight the text and change it to white font.

[Audio Recording] Fix issue where audio stops or disappears in split-screen mode
When using GoodNotes in split-screen mode, I record audio on one side so I can listen to it later, while studying for a test on the other side. However, if I close the screen I’m studying on, the recording disappears. The same thing happens when I try to open a different document on the study side — the recording stops and disappears.
This feature worked fine before the update and also in GoodNotes 5, so I really want this issue fixed immediately. It’s seriously affecting my test preparation, and I’m having a lot of trouble because of it. Please fix…

Flip/Mirror
It will be a big help for us, engineers, to flip/mirror a certain drawn object selected using lasso tool. Its a good feature for us since we always draw symmetrical figures.
