Toggle hide toolbar!
I use GoodNotes daily in landscape and the toolbar takes up nearly 20% of the screen.
A piece of paper doesn't have a toolbar, and already has much more area than an iPad screen.
I want to click an arrow to bring it down when I need it as a lot of the time I don't.
Please implement this as soon as possible so I can get the most out of this brilliant application. Thanks.

This is the reason I switched to Notability.
The problem becomes worse when using multiple windows. Goodnotes 6 made this even worse since the tabs bar remains visible even with just one open tab.
After trying Notability’s super minimal UI, I don’t think I’ll come back to Goodnotes anytime soon.

Dear the developers of Goodnotes 6,
Please make some option buttons to hide the toolbar, navigation and such in the top of the app. It's the main reason me sticking to the Goodnotes 5.

This is the main issue preventing me from purchasing Goodnotes and sticking to Apple Notes. The toolbar in Goodnotes is really distracting and intrusive. It annoys me to the point where I refuse to use Goodnotes. I would love to use Goodnotes because of the great features but this toolbar is a dealbreaker. I want to be able to hide it while writing so I see nothing but a full-screen page. Perhaps a little icon in the top corner to toggle the toolbar would be perfect, but leaving it visible all the time is extremely annoying and distracting. At the very least, please make it the same color as the page like in Apple Notes so it’s not such a distraction.

Please please please add this feature. I am shocked it does not exist. I need as much real estate as possible so I don't have to zoom in and out (which is a pain.)
Any idea when this will be available?

Kindly have this feature to remove the navigation bar from the screen

In GoodNotes 6 the problem is even worse, as the tabs are always visible even if there is only one tab.

Hidden Toolbar is designed to enhance note-taking experiences by allowing users to hide the toolbar and maximize their writing space. This feature is particularly useful for users who want to focus on their note-taking without any distractions

The top bar (The one with the settings button, account button, zoom buttons, notebook name, etc) takes up an unnecessary amount of room and makes it feel a bit cramped on smaller screen sizes. (I'm on the tab s7).
A quick button to hide/unhide it on the toolbar or something would be nifty.

You want educators to use Goodnotes, right? An educator says: let me be in control of what my screen looks like (think about recording lectures on an iPad). As anonymous above says, ther is every reason to allow annotating with both bars invisible.

This is the single biggest issue I have with goodnotes. Apparently this idea has been suggested since 3-4 years ago. Why isn't this getting the attention it deserves?

Yes, Can you please make it so that the toolbar and the navigation bar can be minimize or folded so it takes up less space? This is the biggest issue with GoodNotes right now and a lot of users agree.

Don’t know why this problem isn’t getting much attention. It is one of the major issues I have faced using GoodNotes 5.

Basically add an option where you could hide the toolbar, tabs and top menu to allow for a full screen note taking experience. Right now the toolbar is useful, sometimes, but extremely big as it takes up like 20% of the screen which does not feel very modern.
Could add a small toggle for this pretty easily. -

Even after hiding the status bar, GoodNotes still consumes screen real estate. Let's add an option to hide the navigation bar with the gallery and search and share button. It's not very useful most of the time while working on one document.
Likewise, hiding the editing toolbar gains space but then editing is turned off. The toolbar could simply fold itself into one button in the top right corner so that the user can focus on the document and the text they are writing and get it back when they need it by tapping the screen or using a touch gesture.

Just as you can select the pen up option, you should be able to hide the nav bar while keeping the pen toolbar.

It would be useful to have the desktop version hide the toolbar when in fullscreen mode with the added option to select the same fro the window menu. the toolbar takes away useful screen real estate. this should eb an easy edit, please consider this, it would make a (good) difference when using the desktop version. Thanks.
