Ruler
Please add a ruler with cm skala so architects and other students can easiele create plans at the appropriate scale
Hello,
The Ruler tool is available on Apple, Android, Windows, and Web platforms.
With the Ruler, you can draw perfectly straight lines in Goodnotes. When you select the Ruler tool, a ruler appears on the current page to help guide your strokes. Simply draw along the edge of the ruler, and the ink will snap to it automatically.
With the Ruler tool, you can:
- Choose between centimeters and inches
- Set the angle
- Adjust the position of the ruler
The Ruler tool is located in the Accessories menu. If you use it frequently, you can customize your toolbar and add it to the main toolbar for quicker access.
Read here for more details about the tool.

I've been using this site for some time, and what stands out most is its speed. It's consistently fast, dependable, and stable—even during high-traffic periods. The user interface is also simple and intuitive, making navigation effortless. If you're looking for a seamless experience, definitely check out [platform name]. It's easily one of the best platforms I've encountered. https://hillclimbsracing.com/

In today's day and age, a large number of men are fascinated by sex dolls. There are several factors to consider when choosing the most suitable sex doll rental service, such as her height and weight. The taller the https://www.bestrealdoll.com/, the heavier she is, and there are always pros and cons to everything, regardless of her height.

I agree 100%. A lot of us on construction sites are going paperless. I love Goodnotes but it lacks this key feature to become the ultimate construction tool.

Have specific tools be labeled as Favourites like in the Notein App... Clever feature for switching between tools instead of have to reselect everything again...

I found a toolkit that includes a ruler, protractor, compass, and other drafting tools which might be perfect for illustrating scaled diagrams. The LABANCA 7 Pcs Compass Set with Protractor Rulers Drafting Tools Kit includes:
1 x Compass
1 x Ruler
2 x Set Squares
1 x Protractor
1 x Graphite Refills
1 x Eraser
It's a comprehensive set that should cover all your needs for creating scaled diagrams. You can find it on Amazon or other online retailers.

Yes, bringing the ruler to Goodnotes for android would be especially useful for me.

A ruler is so important to mathematics. Why are other things added first before a ruler is added?

That's a great idea! Adding a ruler feature to draw straight lines, measure angles, and display real-life lengths in centimeters would be incredibly useful for many applications. This feature could enhance precision in design and planning tasks. It would be particularly beneficial for students, designers, and professionals who require accurate measurements https://www.wellnow-urgentcare.com

Agreed a transparent ruler (adjust the unit of measure), compass, protractor, and calculators that will display when casting using AppleTV.

I also like to second this, a reading ruler is a necessity, especially as an accessibility feature, and I am really struggling to read through long documents without it - and maybe a generic text-to-speech.

I would like to change the colour of equations (like notability).

I’d like to second this, though this is an old suggestion. I have a really hard time with long documents and a reading ruler is essential for me. Please implement one - I know the kindle app has one, so it is absolutely doable.

I'm not sure what you mean by pencil tool (this request is from 4 years ago), but I would LOVE a ruler and protractor!
As for separating resize / scale and rotate, you aren't the only one asking for that!
I am a subscriber and I have the most recent update, it's still not there. This needs to happen.
I was working on a map today and I wanted to rotate a line showing 0.1 mile, but I can't keep my hand steady enough to rotate without also changing the size of the selection. I have also worked on things like planning out a room before I move furniture and it's super annoying that I can't keep scale when rotating.
This is easily fixed by separating rotating from scaling.
I'm voting "Critical" on this and all the other posts asking for the same thing!

I often teach math using goodnotes. It would be great, if I could turn on the visibility of the ruler. So my students could see, where I put the ruler and how I meassure.

A geotriangle would be super nice. I need one to measure the angle between two legs of a triangle. Therefore it would be wounderful to auto snap (or manually) to a corner of the triangle and be able to rotate the geotriangle. Like in my picture

The ability to draw mathematical graphs. When drawing lines a small indicator that shows the length of the line you are currently drawing.
Especially when drawing the frame of the graph.
Also the ability to snap to grid when using ruled paper, when drawing graphs.
