[Hyperlinks] Link other notebooks
please make a function to link another document within a document!!
I am making a short summary to study for my class final, I would love to be able to link a different document within my goodnotes folders to a specific word to have more detailed information
for example: my note says " - the sea is full of organisms", I then tap on the word "organism" and my notes on organisms I took during class pop up, because I was able to link them to my short summary
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your ideas! Weāre happy to share that the option to create links to other documents within your Goodnotes account is already available.
You can currently add:
- Links to any external website
- Hyperlinks to any notebook or whiteboard from your files
You can add links to text in textboxes, stickers, and shapes to make your notes more interactive and organized.
For more details on how this works, you can find a step-by-step guide here.

Thank you for adding the hyperlink feature. I use it often and find it very useful. However, I would like to suggest a couple of improvements.
First, when working with large PDF files that exceed 1,000 pages, selecting the target page for a hyperlink requires manually scrolling all the way down to that page. If there are only a few hyperlinks, it is manageable, but for someone like me who uses many hyperlinks, this becomes extremely inconvenient and even straining on the wrist. My suggestion is to allow users to type in the page number directly when creating a hyperlink. This way, we would not need to scroll through hundreds or thousands of pages to select the correct one. Additionally, if the wrong page is chosen by mistake, it would be much easier to correct it without having to repeat the scrolling process.
Second, it would be very helpful to add a button that instantly selects the page the user is currently viewing as the hyperlink destination. This would make it much easier to link to the current page and paste that link elsewhere without extra steps. Especially when frequently referencing the current page, this feature would save time and greatly improve usability.
I would greatly appreciate it if these improvements could be considered.

Got my vote!
Whiles the text hyperlink implementation is great I would find it extremely helpful to extend its use to other objects, including handwriting.
Most of my notes are hand written and I often need to link to either internal notes in the same notebook or another Goodnotes notebook or websites but I donāt like to spoil my notes with a clumsy text box to do that.
In fact, allowing any object (including images and objects) to have a hyperlink would be amazing.

Allow users to jump directly from a term in a page to the ātermā in another page, in a document or other documents.
Hyperlink in presence does not directly jump into the particular sites where the terms are written, which just from page to page now.
Looking back to the definitions or favorite explanations without any scrolling to search the sites should REALLY enhance our sutisfuction and study efficiency.

Also to this, create a hyperlink to the page you are looking at and being able to copy/paste/move it to another document. Going through the documents one by one is so terribly hard when you have hundreds of notes and it interrupts the flow

I agree, it looks very 1998 to have dashed lines under links!

In the document you are currently editing, you can set a small link to another document or a page in a document in which, for example, the same topic is described or useful additional information has already been written down. If you then click on it, the document or the page opens directly as a normal document.
The whole thing is then displayed either as a mini-file, as with OneNote, or as a link. -

Hyperlink handwritten notes and be able to just type in the page number for the hyperlinks (for internal document hyperlinking) instead of having to have to scroll through Th pages to find the page to hyperlink.

Add in a tool/icon that allows for hyperlinks to be dropped into notebooks.
This will help with references, citations, web links that I need to remember for later or external landing pages for logins. I use Goodnotes for study, work notebook, and a personal planner so being able to hyperlink other locations on my ipad, or externally from the web will benefit me across all of these aids. -

I can't create hyperlinks nor bookmarks there isn't the option for android users. The hyperlinks don't work either. Goodnotes is a fantastic app, but it'd be good If Android users could also benefit from all the features available for IPad. It's frustrating.

In Goodnotes 6 you can add a hyperlink to your document to take you to another page in your document/notebook. But you have to scroll to the page you want to click. I have notebook to tracking my books/personal library and for my financiance they are HUGE notebooks, like 1000+ pages. I donāt want to scroll through all of the pages. The scroll feature is nice, but I wish you could type the page number you want a hyperlink to. This would help a lot when making an index.

I'm LOVING the new Goodnotes features, especially internal document hyperlinks. The problem I'm having is the tedium of them. I have big documents with several hundred pages (which is WHY the hyperlinks are so useful!). But addin in a hyperlink involves opening a grid thumbnail view of the WHOLE document and, it can take a while to load all those thumbnails... then I have to scroll through them to get to my link page.
What I'm BEGGING for, is a method to enter the page number directly when adding a link, instead of picking the page from a thumbnail. (thumbnails don't really help if many of your pages look similar anyway). To add many links in a document is a mind-numbing and time consuming experience right now.

we critically need better methods to hyperink, easy for kids to understand and have transparent hyperlinks and the ability to hyperlink elements the current method is honestly awful and frustration
another think which i dont uderstand why your people havent done for years is the option to remove page transitions, please give us the ability to turn that off

Guten Tag,

According to another post, this was implemented in GN6 on October 10th. The completed note doesnāt say how to do it though.

Please add an option to remove the dashed underline that appears when creating hyperlinks. This feature does not appear professional once exported and shared.

Bumping this idea, it really needs to be like this. Goodnotes handles highlighting much better than other apps and I'd like to "flatten" the way Goodnotes handles highlighting behind text and handwriting.
Outlines are definitely something you'd want to keep when a document is complete and requires no more editing and therefore "flattened" is the best option.
