Das man Lesezeichen nicht nur in rot hinterlegen kann, sondern verschiedene Farben zur besseren Organisation der Mappen nutzen könnte. Dieses Tool wäre besonders für viele Schüler und Studenten von enormer Bedeutung, um für Klausuren gezielter lernen zu können mit den Mappen und Zeit zu sparen.

When creating or editing a link, to select a page, we need to click on the adequate page. Sometimes it requires a lot of scrolling.
Could it be possible to type the page number we want the link to lead to?
If I am on page 3 and want a link to page 315, I need to scroll though a lot of pages to select the right one.Thank you.

Increase Folder Emoji Options for Better Organization
I would love to see a wider variety of folder emoji options in GoodNotes.
Currently, the limited selection makes it harder to visually organize folders in a way that reflects different subjects, moods, or purposes. Many users rely on visual cues for quick navigation, and expanding the emoji library would greatly improve usability and personalization.
For example, adding more categories such as symbols, Exclusive color for emojis, objects, or even allowing custom emoji (including iOS emojis) would make the experience much more intuitive and enjoyable.
This small change could significantly enhance folder organization and overall user satisfaction.

Better Mouse Navigation for Whiteboard
Could you add a middle-click to drag, or any other easy way to navigate a Whiteboard with a mouse?
Navigating a Whiteboard with a mouse is unintuitive compared to how easily it's done with a trackpad. Currently, the only way is to use the small preview window at the bottom left corner, which can be quite limiting depending on your zoom level.

Page title without creating outline in sidebar/menu
I'll start off by saying the current process is not a problem or issue, just unnecessary sometimes. That said, is there any interest or current development to allow one to name a page, visible in the sidebar/menu, that does not create an actual outline? I title my pages for ease in location and most often use the Pages view to locate what I need. Titling the individual pages is helpful as the thumbnails can be difficult to see on iPad or iPhone screens, not so much on MB. But creating a page title doesn't need to always create an outline.…

Add folder pinning function
As a long-term power user of GoodNotes, I have accumulated a large number of folders on my home page over years of use. Currently, folders can only be sorted by creation date, last modified date, name, or file type. I often spend a great deal of time scrolling to locate my frequently accessed, important folders.
I sincerely hope the development team can add a folder pinning to top feature. This simple function would greatly streamline file navigation and save users ample browsing time.

Pin Notes & Folders for Quick Access
I truly appreciate the powerful note-taking experience that GoodNotes offers. However, I would love to see a Pin Notes feature and a Quick Access Folder option to enhance workflow efficiency.
Currently, navigating between different notes for ongoing study, work, or projects requires extra steps, which can be time-consuming. A pinned notes section would allow users to keep frequently used documents easily accessible.

[Multi-Page View] 2-page and 4-page
Multi-Page View: Please allow viewing 2-page (spread) or 4-page layouts on a single screen.
A 2-page view is essential for a book-like experience, while a 4-page view is great for scanning data. Users should be able to write across these pages while the strokes are still assigned to their respective pages. (Reference: Flexcil and Noteful).

Link to outline instead of page number
It would be very practical to have the option to "link" to an outline instead of a page. Currently, if you add a link to a page (let’s say page 6) and you add a new page before, your page has become page 7, but the link still goes to page 6. The links don’t follow the content, only the page numbers so it is not practical at all to add internal links.

Option to Customize Thumbnails Per Row in Page Navigator

I have a small feature request regarding the page navigator.
On my previous 12.9-inch iPad, the page thumbnails were displayed four per row. I organized many of my bookmarked pages assuming this four-per-row layout.
After switching to a 13-inch iPad, the navigator now displays five thumbnails per row. Because of this, the layout of my bookmarked pages has been disrupted. The rows I organized are now mixed, which makes it difficult to recognize them at a glance.

Option to undo closed tab and pin certain open documents
I have two similar requests:
I am a private tutor so I usually have a couple of standard documents open on my iPad all the time (e.g. PDF of the periodic table). When I close the app (not minimise) or when I press the x button by mistake, I need to re locate it in my folders. I know I can 'favourite' it but it would be so much easier if there is an option to pin it (sort of like in Safari/other web browsers where you can pin open windows). less submenus
Many functions you have placed in submenus could easily fit into their respective window headers, toolbars etc. - thereby becoming more obvious and faster/easier to access.
examples:1) The filter for bookmarked pages in the page browser is now the single item in a submenu. Unnecessary - there is easily enough room for 4 tabs - even when viewed as sidebar and in portrait orientation. img_0387

Quick view
I’m a frequent Goodnotes user on macOS and rely heavily on it to manage and review a large number of PDF documents.
One feature I strongly miss is the macOS “Quick Look” preview functionality — where pressing the space bar instantly displays a full-size preview of a selected file without fully opening it. This allows for extremely fast navigation through document lists and makes it easy to quickly inspect content before deciding to open a file.

I would love to see more symbols and icons to choose from for the folders. Syringes, the rod of Asclepius, band-aids, ambulances, buildings, various sports, body parts, animals, calculators, numbers, test tubes, bells, books… maybe based on emojis, or the ones available in Word

Bilder und Sticker schneller anpassen
Beim Einsetzen von Bildern und Stickern fehlt die Ankerfunktion, daher verschieben sich oft mehrere Kanten, nicht nur die, die gegriffen wurde. Das ist enorm unpraktisch und zeitaufwendig. Bitte inkludiert die Ankerfunktion, wie es in den meisten anderen Anwendungen schon lange Usus ist.

[Animations] Reduce opening animation time for folders and sidebars
GoodNotes feels very slow and outdated when it comes to the slow animation when clicking on folders. Instead of feeling snappy and responsive the long animation leaves me feeling sluggish.
The same goes for when I open the page view sidebar and the search sidebar. These slow opening animations are outdated and make GoodNotes feel unnecessary sluggish when compared to Notability’s snappy, simple animations.

Bring back local Favorites filtering within individual folders (instead of just global Favorites)
With recent updates, the option to filter or prioritize favorited documents within a specific folder has been removed. Now, clicking on Favorites just throws every single starred document into one massive global list.
This completely disrupts an organized workflow. When I am working inside a specific folder, I want to be able to filter for or automatically pin the favorites of that exact folder to the top, without having to look at files from completely different projects.
Please bring back local favorites filtering or an option to sort folders by "Favorites First".
