Support tabs for iOS
Please add tabs on Goodnote window for iOS version too just like iPad Goodnote tabs. I begin to use Goodnotes on iPhone more because of Duo. However, it's very terrible to use it without TAB feature there!!

[Sidebar] Make "Bookmarks Only" and "Select pages" one tap again
Goodnotes 5: page thumbnails → Favorites, or page thumbnails → Select (one tap each).
Goodnotes 6: Sidebar → Pages → "All pages" dropdown → Bookmarks Only, and Sidebar → Pages → (…) → Select pages.I use both often: Bookmarks Only to review the pages I marked, and Select pages to move or export several pages at once. The extra steps slow me down every time. Please show them directly in the Pages panel again.

Individual Sorting Settings for Each Folder
I would love to have the option to set individual sorting preferences for each folder in Goodnotes.
For example, one folder could be sorted alphabetically, while another could be sorted by date created, date modified, or manually arranged. Currently, it would be much more convenient if each folder could remember its own sorting preference instead of applying the same sorting order everywhere.
This would make organizing notes much more flexible and improve the overall user experience, especially for students who use different folders for different subjects.

Visible route / direct link back to the document home folder
Visible route / direct link back to the document home folder. When working on a document and leaving it open amongst several other open documents… what folder is the open document link to? What is the route back to that folder? I have many ‘orphaned’ documents that I’d like to link to others…if I knew which folder they were in!?

Support Right-to-Left Page Turning / Right-Bound Notebooks for Japanese Vertical Writing
I would like to request an option to reverse the page-turning direction of notebooks and PDF documents.
Currently, Goodnotes is primarily designed around left-bound documents, where pages progress from left to right. However, traditional Japanese documents that use vertical writing are generally right-bound, with pages progressing from right to left.
This is not limited to books, manga, or traditional publishing. It is also an important issue for professional users in the Japanese animation industry.

View Notebooks by Creation Time, Like in a Calendar
I would like to be able to view my notebooks/files by creation time (or modified time), like in a calendar. I could open a calendar and see which files were created on a specific day. This is very helpful for those who study and need to review the material.

I would like to see much better zooming options, like in apps like notability or noteful, you can zoom up to 5000%. I feel like adding this would be amazing. Make it easier to work on the really fine details. Maybe consider adding this option. Thanks

Increase Folder Emoji Options for Better Organization
I would love to see a wider variety of folder emoji options in GoodNotes.
Currently, the limited selection makes it harder to visually organize folders in a way that reflects different subjects, moods, or purposes. Many users rely on visual cues for quick navigation, and expanding the emoji library would greatly improve usability and personalization.
For example, adding more categories such as symbols, Exclusive color for emojis, objects, or even allowing custom emoji (including iOS emojis) would make the experience much more intuitive and enjoyable.

Create tabs on the side for easier access to the page/content
In Nursing school, we take a lot of notes. I'm sure other subjects else too. But I wish I didn't have to scroll through dozens of pages to find something. I wish I was able to add a little tab on the side, color code it and name it. I know you can "flag" It but it's not very helpful because I have to open the side and then try to find the one page I flagged.

[Read-Only Mode] Add an option to hide the Down Arrow Navigation Button
When I enable Read-Only Mode, a small down-arrow button appears at the top-left corner of the page (as shown in the attached screenshot).
I understand that this is a navigation/UI control, but while reading or revising my notes, this button becomes a visual distraction.More importantly, the button overlaps with the content of my notes. As a result, some parts of my notes underneath or near the button are partially hidden and are not clearly visible. This becomes particularly inconvenient when I am trying to read or revise the notes.

Feature Idea: Quick Page Linking & Navigation
I would love to see an easier way to link one page in a Goodnotes notebook to another page.
Currently, if I want to link to a specific page—especially in a large notebook with hundreds of pages—it can be difficult and time-consuming to find the exact page I want.
My idea: Add an additional drop-down menu or page-selection box when creating a link. Instead of having to scroll through hundreds of pages to find the destination page, the user could simply:

auto sleep
Hi Goodnotes Team,
I am using the Goodnotes app on my Android tablet and Chromebook.
Currently, when a note is open, the app keeps the display turned on indefinitely and prevents the device from automatically sleeping, even when left untouched for a long time.
Could you please add an option in the app settings to allow the device's default screen timeout / auto-sleep function to work while viewing or editing notes? Having the screen stay on continuously consumes unnecessary battery when I step away from my device.

button to jump from Home Screen to Tab View
Goodnotes often opens unexpectedly on the Home Screen (at least after every update).
Please add a button to the Home Screen so that users can easily return directly to Tab View (i.e., the actual working environment).

When creating or editing a link, to select a page, we need to click on the adequate page. Sometimes it requires a lot of scrolling.
Could it be possible to type the page number we want the link to lead to?
If I am on page 3 and want a link to page 315, I need to scroll though a lot of pages to select the right one.Thank you.

Better Mouse Navigation for Whiteboard
Could you add a middle-click to drag, or any other easy way to navigate a Whiteboard with a mouse?
Navigating a Whiteboard with a mouse is unintuitive compared to how easily it's done with a trackpad. Currently, the only way is to use the small preview window at the bottom left corner, which can be quite limiting depending on your zoom level.
