Double a drawing with the lasso tool
If I select an area with the lasso, e.g. a math drawing such as a triangle , I want to double it sometimes because I often need it multiple times but right now I have to draw it again because there's no feature to double it. So it would be nice to get the 'double' feature on the lasso tool. This is really needed for all students!

"Fullscreen"-Button, Consistent scrolling gesture throught app and template sizes
Dear Team,
just as the most video apps you can convert via one button to a "fullscreen" option. This would be great for the writing paper to have one button on the top right to activate a fullscreen option for that the page you are writing on fits perfektly with only slight bezels left and right but still keeps all tool functions on the top pinned. Also this funktion shall then only allow to scroll as you have setup the scrolling direction. Yes, a double tap on the paper converts to the "fullscreen" option but doesn't lock on to that…

Template text and "data fields"
Quick paste of preset text templates e.g.
Template text = "This is my heading {date:dd MMM yyyy}"
Clicking the template would paste the text into the note and allow you to drag it into position.
The date field would auto fill with the current date formatted as per the format text.
Other data fields could be supported like: time, user information, formulas, numbering, etc.

UX improvement
There are two small improvements for UX.
When a user exports some of his/her pages, he/she goes into the grid view, selects a few pages, presses "export" and share it, then presses "Done" and "Close" to continue working. It is worth noting that, "Done" is on the top right corner of the window, yet "Close" is on the top left, with "Select" on the right. That means, if he/she doesn't look carefully or press "Done" twice, he/she will again enter the selection mode, rather than quickly returning to work. (See video1). This could be confusing.

While editing a note, sort the tabs at the top by the date they have been edited last time
While editing a note on my iPad, there is a row of tab's at the top showing other notebooks. I don't understand how those are sorted. Anyhow, I suggest to sort the tabs by the date when those documents have been edited last. This would be, IMO, the most useful sorting.

Have the pen auto align when there is recognizable text underneath. So you don’t have to keep switching between pens and so it looks nicer
The PDF has text underneath and the pen will automatically straighten when drawn under it. Same with highlighting. That way you aren’t thinking about which pen you are using and thinking about the actual information

Scrollbar
Like PDFExpert, a Scrollbar which you can drag and jump very fast to a specific spot. Unique would be that the scrollbar appears on the opposide of what you setted regarding right-or left-handed.

Date-Name option and to organize Folders
My idea goes about the Date-Name option that we have to organize Folders and Docs. In my case it’s useful to organize my folders in Name mode, but inside my folders I usually create documents with Dates as their name. I wonder if you can develop the possibility to order like folders with one option (ie Name) and inside the folder order docs by date. Thanks and I’m enjoying GoodNotes 5 very much.

Sync with bunch of cloud services
We definitely need to sync data of GoodNotes with other cloud storage services rather than iCloud!
Since we only have 5GB with default in iCloud, it’s pretty hard to maintain available storage.Please add a ability to link with cloud storages that we usually use.(including Box, GoogleDrive, OneDrive, Dropbox etc.)

Import error, goodnotes format (Goodnotes 5)
When I import goodnotes format to Goodnotes5, it shows an error message "OZZipException" or "GoodNotes4Converter.DocumentReader.ReaderError".
This happened recently from Jan.23 2020. Before that, importing function worked ok (same document worked normal before but showed error recently)!

Shortcut configuration of input text
It is very troublesome for me to change my typeface，colour and text size。So I think it is necessary to set three buttons and I can set different text configuration and change it when I press these buttons。

Toolbar placement and funtionality
The tool bar is where most magic starts, so it should be something really simple, easy access and unintrusive but yours has too many items and takes valuable space from the screen, mainly if we are landscape. Could use the top bar wheres the document title to integrate the toolbar there and the title of the document would be somewhere else, again, notability does this perfectly
And also plz, let us move the tool bar to the bottom without moving the entire top bar with it2 votes -
Highlighters in dark paper
Also, making the highlighters brighter in dark paper? Like making it stay like when you are applying it? Or a bigger pen instead, to use that.

Better file organisation please
It is such a waste of screen space only showing what is inside one folder. I have many folders under folders and it is a nightmare navigating through them. It would be way easier if I could see the entire path at once. If for example I have a file under a/a/a/a/file1 and i want to go to b/a/file2 I take ages.
Please please change this please
