Backup individual folders
I LLLLLOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE GOODNOTES. I use it daily in my professional career AND my personal life.
I NNNNEEEEDDDD an option to backup my professional notes to a separate storage than my personal. Please please please make it so that I can choose my professional folders to back up to a separate location than my personal notes. Thank you!

Continuous scrolling
We need to be able to have continuous scrolling in this app. And I get super annoyed when I have to do 10 things to select and move text. It goes under the GoodNotes pages because they are hard page breaks. Please fix soon!!!

Automatic table of contents with date
Allow me to select text, eg my page heading like (meeting to discuss projected financial) and then click on a button which shoots the page heading to an automatically generated table of contents in the front of the Notebook. Table of contents will be built using all the specified headings, and should also display date of that entry for easy reference. This would be a great help to business people. A next step that can be contemplated is to have GoodNotes access my calendar and paste a link to the entry in the notes of my meeting planner, so that…

大家都知道如果想关闭工具栏的弹窗只能直接在别的地方写。而对于想在弹窗处写字，不能在空白处（在空白处点击会留下墨迹，希望得到优化）或再次点击工具栏的图标来关闭。这样的操作真的非常反人类。

Toolbar should be available at all the sides
Right now the toolbar is placed at the top or at the bottom. But while working and taking notes, it requires to change the tool from highlighter to pen or vice-versa many a time. And on IPAD PRO 12.9 Inch the reach is not easy to change the tool. So if the toolbar is placed vertically on both the side then it can reduce the efforts of user. Thank you for hearing out! Different skins for goodnotes' blue menu bar when in drawing mode!
Please, the dark blue menu bar, while in drawing mode, is pretty distracting, and the number one reason I almost didn't stick to goodnotes..
At least make it dark grey or plain light white, or at least create a number of some new inter-changeable menu designs, that we could "buy" in the app, if not for free...Dark mode doesn't help here..2 votes -
Color Picker while using Zoom Window
When writing notes with Zoom Window, it would be comfortable to have the color picker on the grey line of the zoom window, next to the indentation keys. This way when writing, we can quickly pick our colors instead of having to move our pencil all the way to the top of the screen. When I'm writing definitions, after every term I have to change color and it is time consuming and tiring to go so far away. It would be way more efficient and convenient to have the color picker appear closer to the zoom window for faster access.

Smoothness of Handwriting (Apple Pencil)
I've been using GoodNotes 5 since it had been launched. I found that my handwriting was not as good as in Notability. The ink in GoodNotes 5 seems to lag. I feel like it tries to bend my stroke all the time and I'm quite annoying this. I've tried to set the pressure sensitivity to low, medium and high, however, it stills bending everytime. So I have to write slower in order to make a beautiful handwriting and sometimes it wastes a lot of time!
Ps. I've used GoodNotes 4 before too. The GoodNotes 4 doesn't have this problem.8 votes -
flip and zoom in on flashcards
The new function is great! I think however we could take better advantage of the space by making landscape cards that fill the screen and flip to reveal the answer, since it is very hard to read half page cards if they are small, especially if we can’t zoom in on them

Double page viewing (like a book)
I love using GoodNotes since it is so user friendly, however the only thing I find that is missing is the double page viewing option, so if I’m using a workbook, I can see both pages at once and flip through it like a normal tangible book. I know there is the option of opening a separate window but if I’m only using my iPhone, that isn’t possible. This would be an AMAZING feature and I think would honestly make a lot of people happy!!

Allow us to save words (learn spelling) - useful for technical vocabulary so that it converts properly from handwriting

BUG : Highlight the search item
The search function work perfectly only for the word that already exist within the file, not the text I have type.
I usually take note by type the text within the file.
When I try to search the word, it can detect the text, but not highlight the search item that I have type it.2 votes -
Enable me to look for a page or a item in a book quickly
Improving the speed of turning books. Just like when I hold a real book, I can turn 100 pages at a time easily.

Ability to add PDFs on Mac to GoodNotes by sharing (using the share sheet) from Safari or Preview app
Craft, a Catalyst app, supports this. So does Books (Save to Books), etc.
