Export and return Bug
After I export a pdf document to another app and then import another file to GoodNotes, the screen is just dimmed as if it would give me the option to select an import location.
For example, i would export my science homework file to an app. Then, I would import another homework file into GoodNotes while the export option is still open and it goes dim.

Copy and paste
Search feature: being able to search within a specific folder, notebook or any document . When we do a search currently it will give you results of all different notes that will match your search description and even tho that is helpful it would be more helpful if you can perform a search on that specific folder currently open....

handwriting to text--as you write
Handwriting to text--as you write. I love GoodNotes. Total fan. It makes ADD me an organized guy. No easy feat. I like how easy it is to edit a notebook's thumbnails. I love the variety of line width--and the instant undo, which I need so often. But, but, but: Last night my wife showed me Jamboard on her iPad Pro--and I couldn't believe how cool it was that her handwriting got turned into text--as she wrote! So I tried this in GoodNotes. Yes . . . . you DO convert handwriting to text--in 13 easy steps. GoodNotes validates my purchase…

edge trimming for tablet friendly pdf textbooks/documents
Hi, for pdf readers like Xodo, a feature that allows us to automatically trim off the white edge of certain documents is great for zooming in and focusing on the content.
Could you please add such a feature that turns any documents/textbooks into a tablet friendly version?
Cheers

snap shape detection to make single lines 90 degrees parallel as option to enable on shape tool
We use good notes to draw dimensions onto house plans as a site measure. Since the new update our lines straighten but remain at an angle - This is nice however we would like to be able to have the option to enable parallel snapping so when a line is drawn slight off 90degrees it straightens up to 90 degrees or 180degrees this makes drawing dimension annotation very fast - at the moment we need to straight the lines by editing the node for every line which is slow and frustrating.

Add the FILL IN TOOL for diagrams and shapes
it would be great to have a tool that lets you fill in a shape or a diagram, especially for hand drawn pictures that we all love to insert in our notes. Using the highlighter to fill in the shape take too much time and is also imprecise.
please add it

Share screenshot as SVG
I use GoodNotes screenshot-feature on a daily basis to create drawings for my exercises & summaries for uni and it would be very useful if I could export into SVG -> better quality while maintaining a small footprint.
This should illustrate my idea:

outline structure
Structure for outlines
Though adding pages to outline is a great feature, Goodnotes will be more convenient if we can have some simple structure for outlines such as a Chapter-section-subsection structure, which makes both pdf reading and handwritten notes much better organized within one notebook instead of creating multiple folders.86 votes -
create an app also for Windows
Can you create an app also for Windows? It would so much easier if I could not only see but also edit my notes on my laptop. Really hope you will create an app in the near future.

Fix the bug that doesn't allow fixing zoom window return height
When you import custom templates, the zoom window return height doesn't change even when you change its value to a similar value that the other default templates of the same size have. For example, I import A3 templates and even though I change the height to ~30, the zoom window always jumps way lower, a whole unit of its height below, instead of just a line like in the default goodnotes templates.
Many users import custom made templates and it gets inefficient always having to place the window where it should be.
