Responsiveness Report
Responsiveness, sleekness, simplicity, is what goodnotes is know for please keep that as highest priority. It’s starting to feel very choppy after each update, friendof mine has Goodnotes 5 currently, in comparison there seems to be a big Fps or Responsive Gab, please fix priorities and not just add irrelevance for such experience.

Lasso linker tool
Hi Goodnotes community,
I would like to ask if could be possible to add an extension of lasso tool, that I would refer to as a "Lasso linker". I think this would be certainly helpful for note taking of STEM subjects, but I'm pretty confident other people would benefit of this tool as well. Flashcards: both way questioning
It would be really usefull for language learners to be able to use the flashcards in both ways. That means that we could change the settings and get questioned by the answers.
Example: I have a flashcard. As a question i put in „How are you?“ and as an answer I put in „Wie geht es dir?“ (German). Now I could use it the regular way and i see the english side first and have to find the german out and then there could be the second way (the idea) where i change the setting and see the german sentence…2 votes -

Bildschirmausschnitte und Bilder sollten nicht nur Zugeschnitten sondern auch GESPIEGELT werden können, bei meinen Skizzen ist dies immer wieder notwendig - oder ein Shortlink zu einem Malprogramm.

3 typing things to fix
Please allow text that reaches the end of the page to automatically transfer over to the next instead of manually transferring it. the manual transfer doesn't work well for me in the first place, but instead is just annoying for me.
Please also make it easier for bullet pointed lists to have easier subsections/indentations. For example, in google docs I can easily create new indentations by doing "cmd ]" or "cmd [" for the bullet point, open bullet point, etc. this would be LIFE changing for me as a student. Changing thickness of writing with lasso tool
I hope the Lasso tool could change the thickness of the writing. Currently we could change the color, but at times we need the thickness to separate titles from body text that we couldn't do when we are busy taking notes. This could help the note review process slightly more efficient.

Search pencil tool
Can you please allow the search function to work with notes written with the pencil tool? I see the search function works for the pen, but I prefer the feel of the pencil when taking notes. Thank you.

copy text formatting
I would like to suggest adding a feature that allows users to copy text formatting within the app. This would greatly enhance efficiency when working with different styles and layouts.

Bring back the toolbar in the zoom window
Allowing us to add tools to the zoom window like previous Goodnotes version would allow me to take notes faster instead of always leaving the window to just change the color/size or from pen to highlighter.

Complaint
Right now, I can't close the window from the area I'm going to tell you and it's making a lot of separation, the page is clear and not fully visible, can you reduce the area I will forward?

Button to go to open documents...
At the moment you can't go to the open documents when you are under home. The only way to get back to your open documents is via the 'search' button, I think that should be much easier.

Fit to screen
Add toggle for permanent fit-to-screen of pages. So it won’t move when scribbling due to palm detection. It would be a great feature for some who use the app for e-book reading with note-taking like medical books.
Double-tapping to fit the screen is only helpful on the current page but loses algnment when scrolling vertically.

Better backup option is a MUST.
iCloud is not the only storage everyone using. Please arrange a better back up option. It is a must needed.
Many users posted about it. If you are not interested developing it please be clear and announce. If you’re interested developing it please provide the deadline.
So customer can decide whether to keep adding more notes to this application or stop using it.Your answer or unanswered response will say many things to me.

Synchronization through Goodnotes Account (between Windows and iOS/iPadOS)
As I am using Goodnotes daily for school work I often need to access transcripts at a later point when I am doing homework for example. Having the option to easily access my notes on my Windows PC while I am writing on another part of the page or even another page on my iPad would make working with Goodnotes a much better experience, as the collaboration feature often not works for me as intended and is a lot more time-consuming to do. I’d love to see GoodNotes have a cool feature that pulls together all the comments in one spot. It’d make things way more fun and flexible—imagine being able to jot down a quick summary for each page or add extra notes for a quick review later, all in one go

Possibility to create a separate sheet on the side right next to every page to take quick notes
When opening any document, especially with PDFs, it would be great to have the possibility to have a separate page on the side to take notes. This page on the side sticks to every side in the notebook while scrolling and is not included while exporting.
Especially for students, this would matter a great deal. Because, for example, we have the slides which the professor gave us in our main document inserted, and then he talks and talks. Keyboard Shortcut to Return HOME
I find I am always looking to go BACK to the HOME or FOLDER LIST and would like a shortcut key (i.e., CMD+___) to quickly go back a page. So for instance, I want to open several documents under a folder. I’m using the HOME button AND would like a keyboard shortcut to make that happen.
