New Index Page
Currently, certain notebook pages can be added to the index. The possibility of inserting EXACT POINTS in our notebook into the index would be useful. For example, if in sheet1 there are Topic1 Topic2 and Topic3, it is convenient to insert an index that when I click on TopicIndex1 takes me directly to Topic1, when I click on TopicIndex3 it takes me directly TO THE LINE WHERE I INSERTED the fixed index, in this case TopicIndex3

Ruler which matches standard checkered paper of Goodnotes (not cm or inches)

I love the ruler which comes with the latest update.
I use the checkered sheet template in Din A4. Normally one box is 0.5cm long. The template from Goodnotes is a bit bigger. That's good, because I'm a teacher and so the students see a little better via the beamer, because just everything is a little bigger what I write. However, the ruler doesn't fit with it, of course. The students are used to 2 boxes being 1cm. But you offer your ruler only in cm and inch. Would it be possible to also add an option that fits…5 votes -
Delete Default Fonts/ Show # of custom fonts
Having the ability to delete or remove the default fonts to make more room for custom fonts. Or at least show the maximum number of custom fonts we can have in the app

Possibility to make notes on the side
When opening any document, especially with PDFs but also with my own notes, it would be great to have the possibility to have a separate page on the side to take notes on WITHOUT activating Split View, so all important notes are directly next to the page. Like in the picture but with more space for notes. In the settings you could choose which kind of paper you want to write on and which side the notes should appear on.

Ich fände es sehr hilfreich, wenn man bei Goodnotes die Schriftart und auch die Schriftgröße ändern könnte. Ich nutze das Magic Keyboard und dort gibt es nur eine Schriftart. Die Schriftarten lassen sich lediglich in dem Textfeld ändern.
Außerdem fände ich es sehr hilfreich, wenn man den Text fließend schreiben könnte. Ist eine Seite voll muss man immer auf das blaue Symbol klicken, um eine Seite hinzuzufügen. Es wäre viel besser, wenn der überflüssige Text sich automatisch verschieben würde auf die nächste Seite oder nächstes Blatt.

Add the possibility to put titles on recorded sections.... add recording export to mp3
When recording the Goodnotes app puts a date stamp but does not give the possibility to give a title to the recording. It would be critical for me to be able to name those recording. Further to this, it would be nice to be able to have the ablility to export recordings in mp3 or other format.

Goodnotes 6
Goodnotes 5 has been superb as a notetaking app. Goodnotes 6 is following the path of other apps to add features, change structures and increase file sizes with cosmetic changes that don’t improve efficiency or effectiveness. Microsoft OneNote has many features and much of what Goodnotes 6 offers. The extra features don’t improve navigation or effectiveness and make the app clunky. Rather than have one app that must DO everything, if you want to add features, create two. One that is great for notetaking and one that adds the frills, takes extra space and add “glitter”
Goodnotes has been superb…

Increase the size of the thumbnails on iPad
Hello Goodnotes,
I simply requesting for the size of the thumbnails to be increased when viewing a document in thumbnail view. There is currently space in between the thumbnails to enlarge them as well. They are so small it is hard to get an idea of what is written on the pages.
It would make it so much easier to skim through large documents, if you could see the documents better in a more zoomed in view. Please see photo.

All Math symbols and equations incorporated in any font and drawing graphs
a)Being able to write all Math symbols and equations in any font to maintain uniformity of notes. For example, being able to write a fraction in Bradley hand or noteworthy. Posted a sample here. (b) A tool to draw graphs would be great too.

- allow custom template on studyset, just like other notes ;

Be able to add photos to text on flashcards.
I tried the text feature on the flashcard part of goodnotes and i like the way it looks. but it's really annoying that I can't add photos to it with text. Only if I write out my cards am i able to add photos.

Allow stickers to be moved and rotated *together* with the handwriting on it
When I write on a sticker, like a memo or post-it note, my handwriting doesn't stay on the sticker when I move the sticker. The sticker separate from the handwriting when I move the sticker. Notability does this beautifully. In Notability, when I write on a sticker, and when I move the sticker, the sticker moved together with my handwriting on it. When I rotate the sticker, my handwriting rotate together with the sticker. In Goodnotes, I have to lasso both my handwriting and sticker in order to move it, which is cumbersome and not natural (i.e. not how I…

Thicker Lines
I would like to see an even larger maximum pen thickness setting. I’ll use it to fill in something, for example. It would be nice to have at least 10mm, preferably 100mm. Or, I would be happy to be able to set the maximum and minimum thickness settings in the pen settings, like Ibis Paint.

Vertical Writing and Typing
I am using this application in Japanese.
Japanese has horizontal writing (top left to right) , like English, etc., and vertical writing (top right to bottom). Currently, it is very difficult to input text in vertical writing mode, so I would like you to add a ruled note for vertical writing. Also, if possible, we would appreciate it if you could add support for input mode.
Please implement this in the Goodnote Shop, even if it is sold for a fee.5 votes
