All Math symbols and equations incorporated in any font and drawing graphs
a)Being able to write all Math symbols and equations in any font to maintain uniformity of notes. For example, being able to write a fraction in Bradley hand or noteworthy. Posted a sample here. (b) A tool to draw graphs would be great too.

custom template on studyset / customize studyset handrawing background color ( or even with a image )
- allow custom template on studyset, just like other notes ;
- allow customization on studyset background, especially in hand-drawn / freehand mode, currently it must be white and it's pretty annoying ;

Thicker Lines
I would like to see an even larger maximum pen thickness setting. I’ll use it to fill in something, for example. It would be nice to have at least 10mm, preferably 100mm. Or, I would be happy to be able to set the maximum and minimum thickness settings in the pen settings, like Ibis Paint.

Vertical Writing and Typing
I am using this application in Japanese.
Japanese has horizontal writing (top left to right) , like English, etc., and vertical writing (top right to bottom). Currently, it is very difficult to input text in vertical writing mode, so I would like you to add a ruled note for vertical writing. Also, if possible, we would appreciate it if you could add support for input mode.
Please implement this in the Goodnote Shop, even if it is sold for a fee.5 votes -
Local cloud
Not sure if anyone has suggested this. I am using Goodnotes on both my Mac and iPad. It takes quite a while for the notes to sync between the 2 devices. And sometimes it does not even sync. It would be good if Goodnotes can use Mac as a local cloud server, and notes can be synced seamlessly.

convert to text
Like convert to math, make it possible to convert a selection of even a whole page and convert it directly to a textbox with typed text.

Please stop popping up Goodnotes6 even after downgrading.
I don't like the "rub to erase" spec that erases text even when I want to fill it in, so I downgraded, but even after the downgrade I am fed up with popups urging me to update to Goodnotes 6.

Maths
Goodnotes 6: speed up use of Lasso tool conversion to text (probably more commonly used than maths conversion ) by allowing the user to set a global default for Lasso conversion to either a) text only or b) text and Maths.
I would expect most users to set a default of “text” and thereby speed up lasso tool conversion. Those who require both can set default to text+maths

Links that work inside Goodnotes to pages, objects, text
Ability to link to locations (pages, objects, text, etc.) within Goodnotes. I want to add tabs (like section dividers in physical notebooks) and link them to the start of a section, let's say an index. Then, on an index page, link to the specific page of a topic (and so on). It looks like everyone is building their templates in Keynotes, then PDF, then import. This is fussy, but works. The problem with this workaround is that you have to define all your pages when you build your template. You typically don't know how many topics each section will have…

document shortcut and linking
Linking the same page or document in one folder to a different folder or document. Basically, the ability to edit something in one document and have it updated in the linked document or page without having to copy it or do it twice.

Adding Furigana(振り仮名)(pronounciation) function for Japanese Kanji (漢字)
Someone who's learning Japanese may face the same problem as me. Every time I need to write/insert the Furigana (pronunciation of Kanji) manually for the Kanji that I don't know how to read. It would be great if there's a button to do that automatically like MS Word and ios Pages.

Own Cloud Storage of GoodNotes
I use GoodNotes a lot - school, journals with photos, etc. It would be helpful if GoodNotes has its own cloud storage so that it doesn’t have to take up a lot of space on the device (or at least make cloud storage plans an option). I hope this will be considered as it will be extremely helpful to still have an easy access to all our GoodNotes files without having to worry about the storage of our devices (especially for those with low internal storage since even having a large iCloud storage is useless in this matter). Thank you!!

Sticky Notes over the edge of the document
It would be super helpful if there were a function to pin sticky notes slightly over the edge of the side of documents. I drew a picture for better understanding :)
This feature could help make ones own notes better visible. Plus: sometimes the borders of documents are to narrow to take detailed notes without opening another document/page.5 votes -
Handwritten comment section instead of limited to type-set comment section
It would be great if the "Comment" allows handwritting in case the user prefers to have a better description of the "Comment" or else make references to equations and/or graphical elements without affecting the main document due to small margins or high density of information..

Live links that to other pages in the GoodNotes document
As a piano teacher, I use GoodNotes for my student's lesson assignments and refer to other pages within that document (e.g. scale fingerings see pg. 7, chord voicings see pg. 11, etc). It would be nice if the pages could be accessed via a link to them without having to scroll through 12 pages; and then, if I add a page and page 7 becomes page 8, the link automatically updates to the pages new position within the document. This would be a game changer!
