Support for gestures: pinch-to-zoom and rotate with two fingers
I'd like to use those gestures when editing images, elements and shapes.
Those gestures are such a fundamental part of iOS/iPadOS that it feels strange when I constantly try to use them but they don’t work in GoodNotes.
Especially since other gestures like a three-finger pinch to copy are supported.4 votes -
Remove the Thick Black Line Between the Pages
There is a thick black line between the pages to differentiate between them, make them thin and I want to be able to draw on them. Have a look at the attached images

- please arrange users' favourite pens in a separate line, so that people can move this line to different sides like ios memo. Meanwhile users can add and modify their preferred color and thickness of pens in this favourite lines so that users can choose them quickly, instead there are just three pens, which is not convenient now.

Migrate from notability in native format
It would be great to be able to migrate from Notability to GoodNotes by importing Notability notes in native Notability format (not pdf) so that the imported notes are going to be editable.

Add a two-factor authentication
Please add two-factor authentication whenever I want to open my document for maximum security.
I am a medical student and I do not want my classmates to steal my notes and surpass me.
Moreover, receiving an email or a text message when the document is opened would be extremely useful.

Allow users to turn off the duplicate text function
Add a button allowing the users to turn off the shortcut of drag to duplicate the text box function. As most of the time I want to drag the text box elsewhere, but it keeps duplicating. It can be resolved by tapping on the text box instead of holding it if you are typing with the keyboard on the screen. But if you are connected to a hardware keyboard, trackpad or mouse, it will long hold automatically instead of tapping when trying to move the text box.

Add "Sticky Note" insertion into text documents.. Add option for easier-on-the-eyes tinting for text documents.

So I haven't used the app consistently in about a year.. Recently I've began using it again. I've uploaded a text i'm studying in pdf form. While I am studying I am taking notes and I thought how nice it would be to include these features. The tinting would be nice for prolonged staring at the screen while reading (Similar to what I think kindle's used to do, maybe). Allow us to drag and move the tabs of open notes/documents
Why can't we just simply drag and move the open tabs around? It's very frustrating to have to close tabs and reopen them in order just to have them in the desired order. I believe it's a simple necessary feature to be able to drag those tabs around to be more organized!

Splitting/Cutting Pages
Being able to split a page horizontally would allow to insert a new page for notes in between lines. This is useful for exercise pdfs with many questions, so you can answer directly below the question.

Clipboard
I screenshot (with the lasso tool) parts of my textbook (pdf in goodnotes), but I have to screenshot and paste individually.
I would like to screenshot (and possibly crop at the same time) and have them in a hold (like elements) and then paste them from the hold into my document. I would like it to be a temporary hold to, so an option to delete from this hold when pasted would be cool too.4 votes -

I think when circling objects to move them is amazing, but I wish we could resize it, such as making the object bigger or smaller

Element lasso
Change the lasso tool so that it separates images and elements.
So it would have:
'Handwriting'
'Images'
'Elements'
'Text boxes'
in the options for what you can select.
Because when im trying to move a small element on a large image, it moves them both which is not what i want to do.4 votes -
extend-option for external display
It would be great that you can extend your display with an external monitor, besides the already existing mirroring option. So that you can view good notes documents, while working on another on the ipad.

When taking a screenshot with the lasso tool, give the option to create an element directly, instead of having to save the image in the camera roll and then import it back.

Multiple User Profiles
Be able to create and switch between multiple user profiles. For example, you could have a profile for personal notes and another for your classes.
Alternatively: include options in universal search to restrict results to only notes within certain folders. Offer more search filters. This would essentially achieve the same result as separating notes/folders by profile

Image post processing
The document scan post processing for taking pictures is really good but I commonly take pictures of my notes to insert them into goodnotes using image insert because document scan creates a new page unnecessarily. Would it be possible to implement the post processing to any image after having taken the photo? Or even making it possible to insert images that get post processing using camera insert?
Did an example of what it would look like by cropping the result from document scan below and comparing to what the camera gets.

compatibility with drawing tablet for Mac
The performance of writing in GoodNotes 5 for Mac with a third-party drawing tablet/graphic tablet is terrible. I use a Wacom Intuos Pro S with bluetooth function and there is no chance to write properly as it stutters all the time.
GoodNotes is no use for students/teachers if you can't work with a pen tablet and that's why I hope it will be updated soon.
Until this happens, I have to use Microsoft OneNote, although I prefer the surface and workflow of GoodNotes.4 votes -

无论是ipad还是mac，使用触控板双指上下滑动页面时，无法停顿（打断滑动），其他app在页面滑动过程中若再次将双指放到触控板上，滑动便会被打断。goodnote无法做到这点，这导致需要大量翻页时十分难受。

Copy Paste shortcut
Dublicate selection by select, hold, drag and let go. Like copy and paste but quicker.
