Lining Up Text and Other Media
I would love if there was a way to put your text boxes in certain places automatically or know your text is centered on the page. Create our own sizes for sheets/files
It would be amazing to have access to more size options, not just the predetermined like A5, letter or GoodNotes size that comes with the app.
With these:
- If someone like to print the notes, this could be helpful to adjust everything.
- This would solve a size problem to LATAM (with "Oficio size").
- If someone wants to print and waste the less amount of paper, we can personalized the size to the half of the measurement.

sound of chalk writing on blackboard
Love the app. I use it to teach computer science and mathematics subjects to college students in online mode. For the math course, at present I start with an empty white background and write on it. Make the flashcards fullscreen and ability to move the line dividing the Question and Answers up and down
Currently flashcards aren't full screen so the answers look very tiny

While writing, Pen tip should be highlighted with circle
It will be much helpful while presenting screen, or making recorded notes.
Viewer will easily be able to see, where my pen tip is now, and for which statement I am currently talking about.

Reopen last Notebooks on Goodnotes Mac
I use to have 3 or 4 notebook opened (as tabs), on the iPad when we open Goodnotes we are on the last state (with notebooks already opened), on the Mac each time I open Goodnotes I start with a blank stage, on folder page and nothing opened.

Add Pages Number on the Notebook to see it when printed

Just like creating unique pen by myself, which will be convenient in particular occasion， instead of setting everyting any time we switch to another occasion.

Having a setting to move the undo button to the magnifying screen
I am suggesting to add a setting to be able to more the undo and redo buttons to the magnifying screen for easier access. When writing notes in class it slows you down to have to go to the top of the screen to undo. I believe that this is just a apple pencil gen 1 problem since we do not have the double tap feature.

More robust and cleaner smart shapes
Hello guys, I've been using both notability and goodnotes for over almost 2 years now and i still cant crown one over another, but goodnotes is wayt closer to being the king over notability due to the versatility of the app, custom paper, tools, etc, but theres a tool that i use everysingle day, and that it is soooo much better on notability than on goodnotes, and thats the hold to snap / auto shape tool
I know we already have the snap to other shapes feature, but that is basically useless unlessyoure using lines..

Using mouse cursor to select words.
In some pdf, the words are well formatted. Therefore, I thought it would be much easier for us to use mouse cursor or trackpad to select the word for copy and paste or translation.

Zoom window shortcut
where is the ink color selector in the zoom window in GoodNotes 5? :( Zoom window on GN4 was way better then GN5...
That's why I'm still on GN4.

I want to be able to see my notes from anywhere. I don't have a mac but I still want to be able to see my notes. Maybe you could make a website and you can log into the website to see your notes.

Change color when changing paper color
When already written a page on white paper in black pen for example and then switching to black paper I would like if you have to option to automatically change the color of everything written in black would change into white ( and also other way around)
