Please bring back the setting, that you can customize you text field and save the customization. In earlier versions it was able to fine tune the line spacing, now it is too imprecise. It is very bad
As well we need the function to create tables. It would make so many thing so much easier. Please invent it

Horizontal Toolbar Remove - apple pencil pro
As a apple pencil pro user. The squeeze feature for openning the circle toolbar is self sufficient for changing tools so a settintgs that remove the horizontal toolbar when using apple pencil pro would be a great and easy way to get more space for notebook and usage of the squeeze feature on the pencil. Hope the idea seems great !

Undo/Redo Buttons
Please bring back the undo and redo buttons in the macOS version of Goodnotes. It is dearly missed by this teacher that uses Goodnotes for instruction.

Spline function and connection dots
We need a spline function, it is really hard and long proctor draw a functions, plus with the new update the connection dots are much bigger and can’t even get a good connection between curves, it drives me crazy because I draw a lot of functions

Allow user to write over the seam of two pages in vertical scroll
I had this posted some time ago, and then someone mistakenly merged it into an unrelated feature, so I have to recreate it.
The idea is simply to join pages of a PDF in vertical scroll such that the seam is either invisible or a thin line, and importantly to allow writing to bridge the page seam. Obviously the writing would break in terms of pdf pages, but so long as the break is invisible in vertical scroll, it would allow me to both use the white space between pages, but also to draw reference lines from the bottoms of…

Toggle that allows a Shaded Shape Without Outline
Please bring back the ability to erase the outline while keeping the shaded fill after using the “hold to perfect shape” feature. It was super useful for creating clean shaded boxes and diagrams. A toggle to separate fill and outline would be amazing!

Font dropdown window
Currently, choosing a font is time-consuming, not efficient. There are so many steps to choose the font I need. The recent update made it worse.
Now, a tiny window pops up with the default chosen (never the one I need). I then select "Custom Fonts" and a larger window pops up. I go find say, Bodoni. Change my font. But I find I don't like that font. I have to highlight the word or words, the small window pops up again, I choose Custom Fonts again, then have to find another font from the beginning. Don’t group tools together, or make a shortcut bar
Having to press the icon twice instead of once to use a tool is time consuming. I need to take lecture notes and switch between tools quickly. Another way is to make a shortcut bar for tools with specific settings.

Shape tool
I really love the addition of the elbow/curved line correctors, perfect shape tools, and stroke settings, however the issues coinciding with these are making them hard to enjoy.
1. Arrows and other connecting lines auto attach to other shapes in the document with seemly no way of detaching them. I understand they are called connecting lines for a reason and are meant for connecting diagrams and flow charts, but I almost never use them to connect objects or shapes. Make a separate bookmark option when we access all pages part.
Previously it was great. Now I have to select separately whether I want to switch between the two. Remove the audio option and bring back the bookmark option instead.

Remove font size cap
With the new update the font size is capped at 100 which for larger documents is still too small. Please let us insert whatever size we want like before.

border shape
Hi, I used to make filled rectangles without borders in GoodNotes, but after the latest update I can’t find how to do it anymore. I’ve tried using Undo and even the eraser, but I still can’t remove the border line.

Toggle or change to Eraser in pen tools (7.0.6)
Choosing pen tools but it keeps going to eraser.
The mode that wrap annotations (pen, editing, writing) in one place including eraser is someone troubling me.
When used lasso tools then change to pen, it keeps getting to eraser before pen. When it wasn’t merge before, I can manually select pen then it’s pen.
Now when I select pen, it goes to eraser.I want it to be pen first when I choose the category.

Rubber in the main menu
If you use for example the new forms and switch to the rubber by tapping your Apple Pencil and then you open the Pencil Menu, the rubber is selected.
I would prefer the rubber as an independent tool like the powerpointer.3 votes -
more shapes or different shapes
In the new goodnotes 7 update the shape tool does not do sharp right angels and the draw and hold feature does not give perfect right angels so they should add this as a feature where your able to choose on a "natural shape" or a "precise shape" and when you try and draw a circle it does not give you an option on if you want it at an angle anymore this also goes for a trapezoid if you want a trapezoid and you use the shape tool or the hold feature it gives you a rectangle. Full Page Typing mode
In one of the last Updates the full page typing mode was removed and now you have to hold down the add textbox button and do 3 more extra steps. Please bring back the old option where you could just click in the nav-bar the option for keyboards and start working. Again this is now just extra complicated and all in all a downgrade. Writing this on Oktober 10th with the newest goodnotes and ios updates btw

Apple Pencil or 3rd-Party Pencil
I am partially posting this to see if others are have this issue or if it is just me. I have two 3rd-party "Apple Pencil", one of which I only used once to verify it worked and maintain as a backup in case something happens with the other. The primary one I have used for over a year now with no issues.
