Typography lines or typography lock
Lines telling users that what they’ve written down is align with others in another line. Also, when using a squared paper, I mean now we can move it freely without any lock when we move pass through those grid lines. But it would be better, if the words we’ve written down are stayed or locked on the grid line.

Change default text color for each header or format while in typing mode.
This way, each heading can have a user-defined default color, and you don't have to change it every time.
This would pair nicely with keyboard shortcuts.

Mathematical Graphing tool
Drawing Mathematical equations on a graph by hand is pretty exhausting. Especially, when Goodnotes doesnt really make it possible to draw them accurate.
I would love to add a window to my GoodNote document where I can interactively plot a function like f(x)= x + ln(x).
A kind of GeoGebra implementation in the document would be cool.
That would help all the people who

-are studying something scientific

Search feature
I have a notebook I’ve purchased that I want to get the original formatting and I can’t do that because it doesn’t show up in the store anymore and I would like to see my in app purchases history to redownload a new version of the notebook I already have. There needs to be a search history and search feature in the app so we can find these things.

Use lasso scissors tool to cut PNGs out of images
A very useful feature would be the addition of a scissors/cutout tool which can be used to manually cut out a PNG shape from an uploaded image.

Change date
I need the ability to change the “creation date” of a note.
This, along with the ability to sort by creation date would allow a reasonable sort of my notes as I sometimes need to write notes referring to previous day.
Without this, as manual sorting is not an option and wouldn’t make real sense for many people I guess, GoodNotes becomes unusable as it quickly turns into a mess.

Being able to change colors of already given elements
We should be able to change the colors of mind map shape elements by using the lasso tool just like we are able to change the colors of a writing

Adjust the line
I can edit lines as long as I don't lift the pen off it. which can only be edited at the end of the line I wish I could edit the line whenever my pen touches any area of it.

Highlighter and pen presets
Instead of tapping the highlighter (or pen) and then changing the thickness and then changing the color, it would be convenient to have multiple highlighter and pen presets in the toolbar. Settings could be switched with a single tap.
To make room for these extra buttons, the thickness and color items could be collapsed to a drop-down menu for each property with the current thickness and color displayed. (The settings of the active highlighter or pen could be changed via these controls, while a long-tap on the highlighter or pen would still present the existing pop-up menus.)

Change color of existing highlight
If using the color of a highlight as a status indicator (such as low, medium, or high priority, for instance), it would be convenient to be able to change the color of an existing highlight instead of deleting the highlight, changing the color of the highlighter, and then re-highlighting the text or area.
CLARIFICATION: While it is possible to select the highlight and use the Color option to select a different color, the colors that are presented are NOT the sames colors available as choices when the Highlighter tool is active.

Copy objects of flashcards from question area to answer
I often use flashcards to memorize name of body. It is important for me to memorize related several parts with one illustration. While creating cards, I need to copy illustrations from answer area to question's one (or opposite). Because I need illustration & words together in answer area.
Of course I understood Lasso tool can do that. But it is annoying to select whole area of question.
Adding "copy whole objects from question area to answer area" function saves time a lot.2 votes -
Bulk transform page layout
I like to work on squared paper but I don’t need it to be printed out with squares. If I only could select all or “from - to” for those pages that I want to print out. I could save some inkt.

adjust auto advance to specific page templates
I love using auto-advance in the zoom box for handwriting notes etc. However, it would be nice if the auto-advance recognized the specific page template being used (given that it is a page template provided by good notes). For example, when using the two-column page template, the auto advance should move you down to the next row in that column rather than have you continue writing across the page. It is a small adjustment that would make a world of a difference.

Please add handwriting to text for Gaeilge. It’s such a good app but we can’t convert our notes to text as it just sees it as Chinese. All primary teachers in Ireland use Gaeilge on a daily basis. Please add this support.
