a way to easy create outlines from the colors of your titles or other texts
A way to create outline by using a color recognition that show you all the titles you wrote or fluoted in that color so that you just have to click to make an outline of it

Worktable
Please consider the option of a bigger (indefinite?) surface under the working sheet - onto which elements/drawings/ scetches can be moved out for later use or rearrangement.
Right now when you move something out and its partly outside the paper and not connected - you won’t get it back in.3 votes -
Change Text Color
I would like to be able to select an area of a page and have every non-white pixel change to a color of choice. This would let me change the color of handwritten text.

PDFs should export as "Editable" by default.
PDFs should export as "Editable" by default. Its bad design to have "flattened" as the default. The flatten action is destructive.

goodnotes 5 notes viewable on goodnotes 4
Please make goodnotes 5 notes viewable on goodnotes 4 app, as I have a very old ipad that cannot be upgraded to have goodnotes 5 installed

Copy and paste with Handoff
If I draw a note and then use Handoff to get it onto my Mac and then try and copy it into Pages it always tries to convert it to text. I just want the drawing. There should be two copy modes, one for drawing, one for text.

Pasting more text than will fit on a page
When I paste more text than will fit on a page the text gets cut off. Is there a way to get it all onto one page? Not ability can spread text between as many pages as it takes.

Keyboard shortcut for switching tabs
Cmd+Shift+[ for previous tab, Cmd+Shift+] for next tab, as is the convention in all Apple softwares

Page indexing / global search don’t work properly
Here I am attaching a screen shot
I have many text books in the app and in GoodNotes 5 I have turned the page indexing on
But since several days it can just show “ indexing 142 documents for search “ I have reinstalled several time
Also I have reimported all files
Basically I have tried any thing that app allows to do to stop the dialogue
Please improve global search
Though great it still needs improvement

Remember tool per document
Remember the tool I last used in that specific document.
E.g one document where the highlighter is selected and the other document keeps the pen selected, so the selection isn‘t app wide3 votes -
Larger button
First, I love Goodnotes!
Would it be possible to make a larger Return Button. I'm often taking bullet type notes, so I use the Return often, and when going quickly, it takes a moment to look and make sure I hit the button to create the next bullet, as it's quite small. I know this is a minor issue but it would speed things up for me a lot.
