Please adapt to the fast scrolling features of iOS and iPad OS. Thank you!
I want GoodNotes to adapt to iOS and iPad OS by pressing the long scroll bar. As shown in the photo. In other Apps, I can press the scroll bar for quick scroll, but it is invalid in GoodNotes!
I'm quite surprised that this iOS system feature has been two years since iOS 13. GoodNotes is still not adapted, which has brought a lot of trouble to use. I hope it can be adapted as soon as possible, and the experience brought by a little improvement is huge! Thank you to GoodNotes team!

Backup individual folders
I LLLLLOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE GOODNOTES. I use it daily in my professional career AND my personal life.
I NNNNEEEEDDDD an option to backup my professional notes to a separate storage than my personal. Please please please make it so that I can choose my professional folders to back up to a separate location than my personal notes. Thank you!

Notes bar when importing PDF
I would like to have an option of, when importing a PDF, adding a sidebar to write my notes on the documents I am reading. Writing over them is good but sometimes a sidebar would make it easier and more organized

Cornell template without lines

I'd like a Cornell note taking template without lines and that is more space efficient. The dimension for the Title seems a bit too large and unecessary for instance.
Most importantly, we should have the opportunity to change the paper template such that we can choose dotted or blank paper. This feature is no longer available on Goodnotes (but appears to have been previously).2 votes -

Option to move zoom window without jumping back to the page the window is in
It is sometimes convenient to look at one page of the document and write on another. Currently moving the zoom window leads to jumpback to the page the window is on. Please allow the jumpback to be disabled. Thank you.

pricing, new features
For GoodNotes, I think it would be better if you change the app price into free, because some users like me who doesn’t buy any apps, just in case I don’t use it anymore, might really need GoodNotes, but unable to buy.
Maybe GoodNotes can have an audio recording, similar like Notability. Since more users are using GoodNotes, it would be better if there is an audio recording function.

More Accurate Autogenerated Line/Shape
Please try and make parabolic shapes, curved lines, and other shapes to more accurately represent the path of the pencil stroke. The ones now are good, but I would like a more accurate swept line - meaning closer to the path my pencil head took, not a predefined ellipsis.

improved resizing Tool
please add a feature that you can instantly resize an object after circling it with the lasso tool by zooming with two fingers. So you don‘t have to tap on “resize“.

filters for searching in text
when I'm writing in my notebooks I'm using the Cornell methode and write key words in a different colour. Adding filters to search (eg text that's only written in purple) would really come in handy when navigating through lots of pages.

Adjust the zoom minimum magnification limit
Adjust the minimum magnification limit of zoom. The current situation is that many pages can be magnified at a high magnification, but they cannot zoom very little. Almost only one page of content can be displayed on the screen. It is very inconvenient when turning pages. I hope it can continue to zoom out so that multiple pages can be displayed vertically on the same screen, as shown in the figure below.

Text mode immediate start where pencil last on page/pre-set start point for new page
you should be able to start typing in a box as soon as you click the text function and be able to start typing where u last put your pencil (so you can point and the textbox appears there) (or add a starting point). This way you don’t lose time switching between modes.

synch selected folders
It would be great to be able to only synch certain folders or notes to iCloud in order to reduce traffic. I have quite a lot of notes that I only need on my iPad, but would like to synch only some folders to my Macbook.

Language bar for goodnotes like Windows
It would be very useful to know real time current language usage and update when we change language like widows. I don't want to try to type just 1 letter to see what language is. Sometime a change language button on my keyboard is not working or there's no popup on a screen shows that a language is already changed or not, so I don't know that a language is still not changed yet. Please add it!!!

‘Freeze’ main window when using zoom box
When writing in the zoom box, it is often convenient to focus the main window at a site separate from the place one is writing. In GN4 the window stayed where it ‘was set’. In GN5, it slides to the place of writing. Please freeze the main window. (And return the other features of the GN4 zoom box, as others suggest :)). Thanks for a great App!

reduce motion
The motion when switching to another file, change page, or other things is very annoyed. The motion improve the beautifullness of the app, but I use this app for work and study, I think the motion is useless, time consuming, and make the app slower.
I prefer instant change to another page and reduce all the motion

Option to start the app without opening any notes
Currently, as soon as the GoodNotes is launched, it always opens the note that was last worked on. This is even if all notes were closed before the app was closed.
I would like to see an option that allows GoodNotes to start in the last case described so that none of the existing notes are opened (and the user gets to see the document overview instead).
