Ongoing writing
It would be great to have the option to be able to continue scrolling downward endlessly while writing, instead of having to add a new page constantly.

Documents as new tabs
“Open documents as new tabs” option is a great tool but i would preferred that instead of all documents being open as new tabs only documents or notes or pages within a Currently open document would open as new tabs so you could toggle within that folder faster while looking at folders within folders. The way it is now it’s a bit cluttered and confusing because you get confused and don’t know where those tabs belong in just by looking at the titles if that makes any sense, thank you.

Can you offer free service for my AP students for 30 days while we are shutdown?
My students are preparing for the AP Language and Composition exam from home now. Annotating texts and sources is critical to this. I can’t ask them to pay for the service but this app could save us all! Please help.

Text format is not compatible！
When I copy a word from another app and want to paste it to GoodNotes, the text format I setted doesn’t work,it will go back to the format of the original app. That’s really annoying

insert Options
I would have Intelligent Inserting Options:
- Inserting something you copied from above I wish to be able to align the Thing I copied from above with those things. To be able to achieve that I would show up a dotted line downward or if I insert it right to the copied one to have a dotted light horizontally to align all the things. Optional the dotted line is "magnetic" so it pull the thing you want to insert to the dotted reference line, but if you pull it away the reference line disappearswhen you insert something and want…

Select/Edit Text Box or Image with Double Click or Long Hold - IpadOS MacOS
Currently, in MacOS, you can only select an element if you are on the appropriate tool. Meaning you have to change tools to select an element.
IpadOS is better a long press gives you the option to zoom or edit - the zoom option seems a little redundant when it's easy to press the zoom button and drag the box. I feel it would be better if it just defaulted to "edit". Maybe this could be a preference option if there are people who use the zoom box a lot.

Partly screen lock
if the partly lock screen function in GoodNotes 4 (during projection) can be used in GoodNotes 5 as well would be excellent!

Deleting Pages in Scroll Mode
I request that the option of deleting pages should be available to the user while he is in SCROLL View Mode. Currently we need to go back to thumbnail view and then delete the pages .

Bi-directional scrolling data structure
Hello everybody,
I'm new to GoodNotes, great job. Many thanks for this app!
Following is a feature request:
What bothers me is the limitation that you can only create pages in one direction. I have attached a PDF to you. Let's assume I have a notebook with vertical orientation (blue path). But now I would like to be able to add pages on the horizontal axes (green path). The export/print view is secondary for me. The optimal solution would be to branch vertically from the secondary pages again, etc., so that you can build paths if needed.

Mac Version Colour and Doesn't Save Windows
Two reasons I still prefer Noteshelf over GoodNotes.
The menu bar area in Noteshelf takes on the default Mac colour scheme whereas GoodNotes has this dark blue top bar area for note windows. It's a little think but it's a slight niggle.
While I make my notes on my iPad, I like to see my notes on my Mac and mostly have 2 notes open all the time on an additional monitor; one is my todo list and one is my planner. If I did this with Goodnotes, any time I close the app or restart my computer and then…

PalmOS "Gestures" idea
I'm considering buying an iPad Pro and I love the idea of using a Pencil to take notes. My problem is that my handwriting is awful and my printing isn't much better. Back in the day I owned a Palm PDA. The quick way to enter notes into the PDA was by the use of gestures. A portion of the bottom screen was dedicated to entering gestures using a stylus.
