Layers, or Options to send back and forward
Please allow us to have options to send things forward and backwards. It would be extremely useful.
For example, when you first write some text, and then you want to put a sticker or element underneath it. To do this, you insert the sticker or element but it goes above your text awkwardly (since layers are automatically done chronologically). To send the bubble back, you really don't have an option to, so you can either rewrite the text or move the bubble away and use the lasso tool to copy and paste ur text so it is moved to the top layer.

Firstly, Thank you @Brooke for taking the time to gather and post all the threads of similar nature. I’m voting on them all!
The issue for me:
Text boxes (that have to be placed and then annotated) often shift while using gestures; which cause annotations, such as highlighted text, to be in the wrong places. Not only is it annoying but if it’s not caught straight away, can be problematic. Layers or the ability to lock items in place would solve this.I ought to mention that having a text box deselected from the lasso tool does not always work. If I tap on the text box alone, I can still move it.

Goodnotes recently added "send to back" & "bring to front", but there is NO "bring forward" ◀−−− & NO "send backward" ◀−−− each of these would move the selection 1 layer forward or 1 layer backward at a time, not send them many many layers allllll the way to the very back or alllllll the way to the very front.
